Comfortable beds and sofa, tv in main bedroom, good sized kitchen and living space. Property was clean. Welcome pack. Lots of books and DVDs. Good sized tv in main living area with DVD player and set top box. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside eating area not overlooked . Beautiful views of open fields in the rear of the property. Very quiet and peaceful, not far from walks, and a short drive away from shops. Owners on site but not intrusive in any way.
Appliances a little tricky to operate, cooker switches in a cupboard so were difficult to find, no handwash in bathroom, very little toilet roll. Tv remote in main living area needs replacing as it was very difficult to change input to change between dvd player and set top box. Opening and closing the main gate is a bit of a chore especially in the dark or when it’s raining. Kitchen floor squeaks.

I adore this property. It's well located, always given a warm reception with a care package and the kids love seeing the chickens and the orchard.
We have family up here but love down south so we book it whenever we come for a visit. Such a wonderful place and the owners always make it feel welcoming. Will use for many years to come!
Nothing, it's wonderful.

The property was in a quiet location, and had a welcome package for our use on arrival. It had all the items that were expected, including washing machine and tumble dryer, freezer, and had a well equipped kitchen. Furniture was generally of good standard, and there was a fine collection of books and dvd's for our use.
It was overlooked by the owners own home. It had a very creaky floor by the sink. The lighting was quite subdued. There was no indication as to the day of refuse collection. There was no visitor's book to comment on or sign.

The location, view, facilities basically everything was perfect. Very clean and tidy, beautiful setting. Little ones loved the chickens. Host gifts were so thoughtful (and very useful as we got stuck in traffic and forgot milk).
Was their to visit family so will hopefully make it our new regular place to stay where possible.
The double bed mattress didn't suit us sadly it was very soft. But with the baby and toddler I slept in the spare single with the baby and my husband used the very comfortable sofa so still very happy. Always difficult when it's not your own bed!

The location was quiet and peaceful (other than the chickens crowing, which might wake you in the morning) but handy for Sherwood Forest and the Peak District. The property is generally clean and comfortable with all the facilities we wanted. Lots of fruit, biscuits, coffee and Prosecco to welcome us.
Very little to dislike. Didn’t sleep as much as I would have liked but I never do when I’m not in my bed at home. Some of the mugs weren’t 100% clean, but otherwise no issues.
