great place with pool, just off the beach (fisher’s port), very good restaurant in-house, small scale and nice staff. Also very quiet part of town at night
didn’t like the mattresses which felt like really soft foam. owners only speak French and no English which is a bit difficult for us

The location at the ocean was super and not far from the airport. The infrastructure was very clean.
Just the breakfast was a bit sober but the food at the restaurant was good.
1.0
clean, location that it is behind a fish market. service staff at the restuarant.
The manager was rude and insulting.
electricity went out both days that we stayed and the last day we had no water for a long while on top of it, like we could not flush the toilet. We understood it was raining very hard throughout the time we were there and the hotel is in a small village and we travelled enough to know what to expect and not whining about things. So we did not complain at all since the very first day when electricity went in and out constantly and some time for an hour or more. And on the second day it happened again and this time water also ran out. We thought we just mentioned to the manager and his answer was “ it is senegal! “ I mean, yes we know that but how about some friendly and helpful and service minded answer like; we could let you use other toilet downstairs, or anything else that could show some concerns from the hotel that is costing more than a hundred euro a night could have said. it was his arrogance that completely put us off.
He complained about us leaving the patio door opened. It was humid hot, rainy and no electricity. we led the air in but we did not realized that we also led in the rain that came through this patio window/door as well. Manager came and yelled at us with a rude, and superior-like manner. And told us to shut the door. And we did.
With the room so humidly hot we then decided to move to the restaurant area where we ordered drinks and sat next to a big window that was opened by the restaurant staffs. Same rude manager came in, yelled at us with his hand gestures again saying in French how we still don’t know that we should not let windows opened when it rained. It was not us that opened that window. But ofcourse he blamed us and yelled at us and made a scene in front of other guests and his own staff. He made us feel extremely unwelcome. Whatever the situation that might be challenging for our stay, we could accept it and we did since day one without complaining.

Place was very clean & modern and the owners & staff made us feel welcome & comfortable! The beach was literally on our doorstep & absolutely beautiful!
The long sandy walk that the entrance of the place is on but other than that everything else about the accommodation was excellent!

The staff's kindness, flexibility and humor, the very relaxed atmosphere and curated garden, the rooms structure and their immersion in trees with chirping birds, the menus with large portion of quality food, and the delicious t-punch cocktails!
Absence of mosquito net, could be quite useful in the rainy season.

Very nice place, with friendly owners and staff! Overall nice, but was hoping for a different style, the place looked a bit worn down with its charming, but bit old fashioned 80ies vibe. We didn't try out the food there, which looked really nice from the menu! Also very very nice location, facing the fisher market and the beautiful beach. Nice pool area, but in the evening it was not possible to stay outside next to the pool because there was a super nice but wild "puppy" (big dog), that the local staff did not seem to be able to control that evening we where there.
Overall, nice stay, only these small things that affected the experience. But definitely value for money! We were just looking for something a bit extra than that which is why we decided only to stay one night.

We had the room with a balcony overlooking the sea which was wonderful. The balcony was big as was the lounge and bedroom. The garden is good for spotting birds and the balcony great for watching the fishing boats return with their catch. The hotel is close to the lagoon which you can reach by walking along the beach or the road. We were picked up at the airport which made things very easy especially as our flight was delayed and we didn't land until 2am. Isabelle and Stephanie are very friendly and welcoming. This is a lovely place to stay and we would definitely recommend staying here.
