Cabañas bonitas con piscina

El sitio era increíble. Cabañas bonitas con piscina, geckos por todas partes y cerca del mar. Samuel y Buba eran muy amables, la cena y el desayuno en el hotel fue muy bien. La piscina es un remanso de calma para pasar todo el día a remojo del calor africano.

No había nada cerca, esa zona de Joal no tenía restaurantes ni nada parecido por situarse en la playa. Si vas sin coche, un poco locura, nosotros tuvimos que coger taxi y moto para llegar. No tienen para pagar con tarjeta de crédito y nos parece que siendo un hotel en medio de la nada debería dar esa opción. Tuvimos que pedir a otros huéspedes muy amables que nos prestaran cash a cambio de una transferencia europea…

Rustige omgeving om volop te genieten.

Super vriendelijk personeel. We kregen een hartelijk ontvangst. Zeer proper en een leuk zwembad.

Bouba is diegene die zich als gids profileert en je mee op uitstap neemt. Hou er rekening mee dat hij je te veel laat betalen. Hij vraagt 3.000 om schriften, pennen en snoep te kopen en deelt amper iets uit. Hij vraagt ook te veel voor de tours, je betaald ook nog eens zijn eten en drank.

Soggiorno accogliente

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo hotel A due passi dal mare. Si trova in una buona posizione per raggiungere poi l’isolotto. Le stanze sono semplici ma con tutto il necessario. La colazione molto buona! Staff accogliente!

Fantastique sejour

Nous ne pouvons que recommander l hôtel lodge de Joal où nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au calme et au sein d un equipment soigné avec une équipe très amicale et accueillante.. une bonne cuisine et un environnement de verdure très bien entretenu… Merci et au plaisir de vous revoir Babou un guide sympa et qui connais plein choses est sur place.. on a beaucoup apprécié !!!

Pas de possibilité de retrait CB à Joal il faut le savoir !!! Au niveau de l hotel lodge tout était parfait…

Tout a fait correcte pour 1 ou 2 nuits ,malheureusement alentours non touristiques

Petit hotel avec des chambres et saniraires tres propres. Personnel a l ecoute. Bonne cuisine. Seule la piscine laisse plus qu a desirer. Ezu trouble.

Alojamiento muy completo, buena ubicación. Todo el rato atentos a nuestras necesidades, Samuel nos recibió con una sonrisa a pesar de llegar a la noche mucho más tarde de la hora prevista. Nos guardaron las mochilas y permitieron usar la piscina e instalaciones aun habiendo hecho el check out. El desayuno era muy completo y las camas comidas más. Todo genial.!

Uno de los dos aires acondicionados no funcionaba, aunque eso no supuso un problema para nosotras.

A lovely place to stay

Samuel and his team were brilliant; efficient, friendly, attentive, informative. There is also a resident guide that can take you out on trips to Sine Saloum and other local points of interest. Rooms had everything we needed and the roof terrace is a pleasant place to relax.

Superb

Beautiful atmosphere with palm trees and hibiscus flowers lining the courtyard. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even got up early to give us breakfast before our 6am departure. The showers had hot water and the air conditioning worked well

Disappointing

The staff is nice, the food is very good & for a good price. Do not take a tour with any guide they recommend - not worth the price, time nor sights. Long story. Just don't.

The sheets in our 4 rooms had not been changed and were dirty (hair and half-dried blood from killed mosquitoes). This was not a question of washed but old sheets - the sheets had not been changed/washed. My other friends felt that other things were also not cleaned, but the main problem was the sheets.

Bon rapport qualité prix

The Staff was very nice. The hotel in general looks good. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the nice brise when dining on the patio.

The AC in our bedroom didn't work well, so Samuel had us moved to an other room. Where the AC was working but the water pressure was really slow plus we couldn't really find our sleep since there was a mouse running around the room during the night (it ate some of our food). The premises look good but there is a lack of maintenance.

Everything. Easy location, very friendly employers that helped us a lot with information, transportation... Restaurant with great food and affordable prices. We liked it so much we asked to stay there one more night. Highly recommend it.

Fabulous stay in superb location with great hosts!

We had a fabulous stay at Joal Lodge. Samuel is a wonderful host, and took very good care of us. The lodge is very near the beach and local amenities. The location is safe, secure and quiet. The locals are curious and friendly. Wandering the beach and village streets made for lots of good experiences. Our trip to Shell Island, an easy flat walk, was worthwhile and different again. Our transfer from Dakar ferry port was as arranged and without trouble. Samuel helped arrange our onward taxi, and currency exchange. The food was delicious, as was the gin! I wish we had time to stay longer!

Relaxing, pleasant seaside lodging with garden and pool in interesting Joal.

Air conditioning worked well. Hotel is beautifully situated by the sea with an attractive garden. Swimming pool pleasant. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was delightful. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room slightly small and dark. Bed had foam mattress which wasn't super comfy. The house guide was a bit pushy. Staff put a cleaning product in the pool the evening I stayed then told me not to swim.

Peaceful stay

The location is convenient, near the beach and Fadiouth island. The room was good and rather clean. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the food at the restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful.

really good value for your money as long as you’re realistic

- The host Samuel was very warm and welcoming - We had a couple of issues with the room and Samuel was very forthcoming to resolve them - Very cool and relaxing vibe in the compound - Good value for what you’re paying

- There we’re some issues with the room: the toilet and the A/C were leaking - The beds were from this foam material and were not very comfortable

The property is perfectly located in Joal, in walking distance from the gare routière and Fadiouth island. It’s a quiet little oasis with nice views on the sea and the village from the roof top terrace. Also the stuff is very welcoming and helpful and the food offered at the restaurant tasty.

Really good place to stay in Joal. To repeat.

Location: Really good location in Joal, walking distance from Fadiouth. Mosquitos: With net for mosquito. Safety: The street is Ok, it is safe. Breakfast: Good basic breakfast with butter and baguette. Cleanliness: Really clean room. Noise: No noise coming from the street. Mattress Comfort: Really good mattress, maybe a bit short. Kindness: REALLY kind workers helping in everything we needed. Restaurants and eating: Some restaurants nearby.

The best accommodation during our Senegal trip

Samuel was so helpful, showing us the way to the bus station and giving information about Fadiouth. The food was tasty. The entire facily is very charming with a swimming pool, houses made of natural materials and relaxed atmosphere. Walking distance to Fadiouth. Great price quality ratio. Wifi strong enough to make audio calls.

The staff was very friendly. The place is small but beautiful and relaxing. The swimming pool is cleaned more than one time per day, so it's clean all day. The rooftop has sea views.

Charming place to stay at close to Joal Fadiouth village

It is quaint and charming, the pool was clean and staff was initially welcoming.

First room did not have hot water and running toilets. We were moved to different room but the mattress was terrible and made the night difficult. Breakfast was minimal.
