A very nice place to stay, while visiting our daughter who lives in a nearby town. I would recommend this property to anyone coming up to the Eastport Area.

We always enjoy staying here. Very relaxing and quiet, just far enough out of town for a good walk in and back. Whoever does the cleaning does an excellent job! Have already booked another stay.

The house was wonderful with all the modern conveniences and the stillness and quiet of nature from the 2nd floor deck.
Super convenient to the water and town of Eastport as well. Highly recommend it to others wanting to experience Eastport and have the luxury of an immaculate space to stay.

Love this place!
Check in was a breeze, no issues at all, The owner was very detailed with notes and little facts like: the Eagles nest to left off the deck (we unfortunately did not see) However there was a meteor shower that weekend that was very exciting.
This property was excellent from start to finish. Perfect location to view the skies at night:)
I will gladly rate this as a "Five Star" property.

Just as described. My most relaxing vacation ever. Cleanest place we've ever rented. Loved cooking in that kitchen, eating on the deck and the shower-wow.

For us, it is how a place makes us feel. As soon as I walked in the door, I exhaled, went upstairs to the main living area, smiled and said, “ I love it here”. It was our 3rd stay, so very familiar. Our hosts are awesome and continue to add to the experience. We enjoy being able to walk to downtown- it is a walk. This year, we invited our daughter’s in-laws to stay part for the time with us so they could enjoy seeing our shared grandchildren enjoy Eastport’s 4th of July. They also loved the place and couldn’t believe how quiet it was and were amazed at how well they slept. We highly recommend this place and the hosts !

Very nice, obviously still under construction. Didn't have communication with property management so tried to leave question blank.

We loved our stay in Eastport and in this beautiful home. Only had one slight problem when we locked ourselves out of the bedroom - Yikes! Joanne was quick to respond and a neighbor, Melissa, came to the rescue with keys. Would very much recommend to anyone wanting a quiet location and an ultra comfortable bed.

Pleasantly insecure
There were issues with 4 doors privacy and security. Exterlor deck door handle fell out. Sliding bathroom door would slide shut. Bedroom door knob was taped so couldn’t lock it. Front entry door opener and closed very poorly
Spent over one hour set up cable and TV connection

Short ride to downtown
Very Clean apt. and excellent furnished kitchen. we
enjoyed back of home upper level porch which is
tree lined and has view of coastal water. Apartment
is only a short few minutes to EASTPORT downtown
shops + city front that overlooks the Bay area. Many fishing
boats are parked along the harbor piers. We enjoyed 2 eating different at excellent locally owned/waterfront/great service
restaurants downtown which served fresh lobster - haddock.

Lovely house with strange layout
The house is artistically decorated with a lovely deck (bird watching!), living room and rather tight kitchen, but the strangeness comes from the bathroom being 1-1/2 flights of stairs up from the small, dark bedroom downstairs. There is a large window in the foyer with a view of the road that welcomes you (!) when you come out of the bathroom and walk the stairs. But it's a lonely road, so not really a big deal. Eastport is WAY up there, but we enjoyed touring the interesting area and Raye's mustard shop and restaurants too. Hope to go out on the Jolly Breeze, the owner's whale watching ship docked in New Brunswick someday...

Lovely waterview home
This 1 bedroom/1 bathroom vacation rental property exceeded our expectations in every way. First, communication with the owner was fast and responsive. There were a few housekeeping items that we needed, such as batteries for the remote etc and all were addressed in a timely fashion. The home was spotless. Second, the home is really luxurious with gourmet kitchen and a bathroom with a multi-jet shower. Because there are limited dining options in town, we did take advantage of the gourmet kitchen to make a meal or two. Third, the location was perfect. Secluded, quiet, beautiful view of the ocean, but close enough to walk into the little town of Eastport. We enjoyed our time in Eastport and found the townspeople incredibly friendly. My one comment about the lay out of the property is that it is "inverse living" with the kitchen, living areas. dining space, deck and only bathroom all on the upper level. The bedroom and laundry are on the lower level. This meant negotiating stairs at night to use the restroom. Just FYI.

Wonderful place with beautiful ocean view
This house has everything you need to have a peaceful, enjoyable vacation. The house itself is awesome. The large open living space made it possible to see the ocean view from many spots. The deck was amazing. You have trees and ocean at the same time. Everything was just perfect. I highly recommend this place. I can't think of one thing that I would have changed! Thank you for helping make my stay in Eastport all the better!

Best rental value in the area
We went to Eastport Maine for the month of August to escape the Florida heat. It didn’t work out too well since it was much warmer than usual in Maine. We really enjoyed the House. It is much nicer than the average rental in downeast Maine. Cant beat the local seafood. I had lobster almost every day. We also had a great time whale watching on the Jolly Breeze. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit this area with its great scenery and weather.

Strategic Location
Walked into downtown Eastport every day. Some real beautiful views of the bay along the way. Good eats. Fun galleries and shops. Drove up to St. Andrews one day. Drove down to Campobello another day. Perhaps the best activity was just sitting on the deck watching the bay. Relaxing pace. Relaxing place.

Magnificent Rugged Views
Very nice and very clean. Comfortable home with everything you need for a nice vacation. Beautiful views from the upper deck. Enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings watching the sunsets with a glass of wine.
If you enjoy hiking and biking, this is the place to come. We enjoyed great weather our entire week.
Fantastic day for sailing on the Jolly Breeze and the crew members were very knowledgeable.
I highly recommend vacationing to Eastport Maine.

Comfortable and pleasant stay at this house.
The back deck with water views and cool air was very enjoyable. We discovered within view- an eagle's nest with mother bird sitting on it. Inside there is plenty of elbow room to relax, cook, exercise, read, etc. The interior design is beautiful to say the least. It was also very easy to communicate with the owner Joanne.

A WONDERFUL HOME, A BEAUTIFUL AREA, AND THE PERFECT PLACE TO CENTER YOUR TRIP TO MAINE!
After reading the Sarah Graves mysteries set in Eastport, Maine, I wanted to see the area and since I had the time, my cat and I set out on a road trip up the eastern coast culminating in our arrival in Eastport and our 6 week long stay in this charming and very comfortable home. Everything was clean and tidy and I have not a single complaint. The kitchen is modern and the gas cooktop with built in grill is perfectly suited to preparation of a single meal or a lobster dinner for 8. The bathroom is quite large and the shower is luxurious with multiple jets. The owners were most helpful and considerate always responding to any questions that I had . From Eastport, which is a delightful small Maine town, easy day trips can be made to Campobello, St Andrews by the Sea, Bar Harbor, and the surrounding areas of the coast. New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island are easily visited as are the Maine North Woods. The deck is the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of tea or a glass of wine in the evening with the resident chipmunk and the visiting white tailed deer who munch on the many apples falling from trees in the area. I cannot recommend this home too highly.
