My stay at Shama Asoke

Shama Asoke is in a great location, with a 7-11 conveniently nearby and a big gym, which was a nice bonus. The general staff were very friendly and welcoming.

While the women at reception were exceptionally kind and helpful, the man who checked me in had a strange attitude and could have been friendlier. He wasn't particularly welcoming and made the interaction feel strange.

Not what it used to be

Great location, super friendly staff in charge of the buffet breakfast

Check-in counter staff attitude. I was given a run-down room on a high floor that had nothing to do with what was advertised on the website and had a musky smell. Upon explaining the issue to the staff, stating that the room is in no part similar to the one I usually have at level 10, the staff replied that she did not know the status of every room in the hotel.

Not what it used to be

It has a great location, and the staff managing the buffet breakfast is very friendly.

I was given a room on a very high floor that had nothing to do with the room I am used to having on the 10th floor. The room had a distinctive smell of moisture - fungus and looked rundown. Upon visiting the staff at the check-in counter, she was rude, stating that she did not know what all rooms looked like. I have been a frequent visitor to the hotel for many years, and it keeps passing from one managing team to another and is degrading.

Value for money. Walking distance from a BTS station. Welcoming reception front desk and extremely friendly staff at the breakfast restaurant

Stepping out of the bath tub can be dangerous as the bath tub is very high from the floor. Very poor lighting in the bathroom. House keeping come to clean the room around 3 PM only

الاقامة سيئة ويرجى مراعاة تنظيف الغرف جيداً والنظر بموضوع البوفيه

لايوجد

يوجد زواحف بداخل خزانة الملابس والبوفيه غير مناسب مع ان جميع المقيمين في الفندق من الجاليه العربيه ودول مجلس التعاون وأيضاً يوجد حشرات في اللوبي مما يسبب للمقيمين بلدغات بجميع انحاء الجسم

My living room was designed like Japenes style and nothing like the picture, the living room didn’t have a couch, booking and reception were contacted but i was informed that the hotel is full I didn’t receive any compensation

We enjoyed it with the only drawback for us being the shower.

The staff were pleasant, friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was clean, large, with a lovely view. The swimming pool was good.

There was no walk in shower, it was over the bath and not easy to get in and out of.

The fitness and swimming facilities are excellent and well maintained. Very nice location, close to the parks, shopping and restaurants. The staff, especially Mr. Paul, were very professional and friendly.

great room and good breakfast . Mew and Peter from reception where great they changed my room to tower 1, where is pool and fitness room in 10 min, just great service of them, thank you again. Also Tum, Carrot and Tung, are perfect staff congratulations. breakfast was ok in the restaurant.great hotel, quiet big rooms, with lovely staff and superb pool and fitness with sauna ans whirlpool

The room was big and the staff was great.

The bed was extremely hard and the hot water in the shower came and went multiple times during every shower session. The air conditioning was not very good either.
