Reasonably close to Louth. Good car parking.
Very old furniture crowded around the place. Never saw the owners apart from booking in.

Heavy quilt and building smelt of damp although room was ok
4.5
The room was immaculate and very comfortable.
5 miles to Cadwell Park race circuit.
I never saw any staff. Reception was closed throughout my 2 day stay.
Residential area, with no obvious pubs, shops or takeaways within easy walking distance, and no facilities within the hotel.

Louth is a very beautiful town. Perhaps too quiet for youngsters, but for people who appreciate fine architecture, both grand and simple, Louth is a treat. The Beaumont was very quiet, and my bed was excellent. In fact I had eight hours of undisturbed sleep! I have not had such a good night for a long time.
Quiet is great, but it can get too quiet. There were four or five vehicles in the car park, but I saw no other residents outside or inside the property. The attractive dining room with its interesting antique furniture was deserted. No breakfast was available. I saw the owner / manager for only a couple of minutes.

All was perfect.

it was just the room, nothing else on offer so it means walking into town for breakfast

Bathroom
Location was not near town centre,it was impossible to open the front door, the one staff member was abrasive bordering on aggressive rude and obsructive, imagine faulty towers

super comfy!
it would be good if you could make the latest check in time clearer. I arrived just before 10 and whilst the lady was perfectly pleasant she did mention that it was a good job they hadn’t had staff in because they would have had to pay them for an additional 2 hours. if you had messaged me when I booked it (that same day) you could have said that check in ended at 8 and I could have found a way to get the key within that time. apologies if it’s clear on your site and I just didn’t see it, I did look.

lovely room, everything we could need was supplied
nothing - all fabulous

Initial warm welcome to a very clean room, which was warm on a cold night. This is a room only hotel as far as we could make out, so no chance of breakfast.
In absolute total darkness inside and out. Very difficult to find as SO dark - shame the roadside sign wasn't lit especially on a winters night. Front door code only works if after you enter your pull the handle on the inside to the top, to re-set the lock. Previous people hadn't done so, so we were left in freezing weather trying to get in. Fortunately a staff member was still there, 'as her taxi hadn't arrived to take her home yet' so we got in. Felt her comment that it was only because the previous people hadn't pulled up the inside handle not terribly helpful - we can't have been the first this has happened to!

The staff were lovely and welcoming. The room was large, clean and comfortable. For a last minute booking, it was perfect.
All I would want is the possibility of asking for a later check out!
3.0
The room was clean and bed comfortable, the shower and bathroom was clean and well stocked. The view out to the front was pleasant too. Car parking wasn't a problem either.
The landlady (Liz) was pleasant, although a little abrupt. She sorted out the T.V. which wouldn't turn on (which was a dud socket). The room layout could have been better (no bedside lights). It was also a little embarrassing to hear her dealing with a customer who arrived later than us, and had a problem with his booking. He was going to find alternative accommodation, but was offered a different room which he accepted. We were also expecting a free breakfast as advertised, but were told that would be an extra £7 we said we would like to order four, but were later (five minutes) informed that the cook had just called in sick !!?? Liz needs to brush up on her interpersonal skills, sorry Liz.
