The location was pretty and clean overall, and was easy to walk to.
The lack of a parking lot was a little disappointing. Thankfully the street parking was close to the property.

There were roaches and bugs near the bathroom ceiling and mold on the shower curtain!
#1 was the roaches I can’t stand roaches and whatever bugs were in the bathroom ceiling. The location. The dark reception area. The front desk music, if I’m in PR I expected Spanish. Absolutely no Parking it. was bad to find off street parking. Upon arrival I was moved to this hotel without my consent. They promise I will have a bigger room with a bigger bed. The room was not big, but the bed was good so I will give him that . When I tried to find ice, there was no one nowhere in sight I didn’t even see a sign ! By the time I spoke to someone on the phone, I was already done with it. The pool look cute if you want privacy but I couldn’t use it because I was there just for one night.
I pray for Puerto Rico that it doesn’t continue to be marked by all those that don’t care. I’m speaking of those that mark walls with graffiti and throw trash. It’s so sad.
Viva Puerto Rico and those that care for it!!!

pool was an unexpected surprise.... nice water feature... was small, but perfect for escaping the heat of the day in the evening

It was okay.
Our room’s tv never worked, a live cockroach was found in the room.

Location of property is good, and its also a safe peaceful area. If you wanted you could walk to some restaurants and livelier hangouts. Beach is a close distance so walking there is a breeze.
No parking on premises. I was lucky to find one close. Beds, not comfy at all. Pillows were flat, obviously worn out. They could definitely improve those areas, i hope they do.

From the outside it looked pretty
The power went out the first night. Our room was only cleaned once and we were missing towels. The air conditioners dripped water so the entire hotel had wet spots. The pool was tiny, only allowing 4-5 people at a time. There was a leak in our room. The TV kept malfunctioning.

Honestly, it's tough to say that we liked anything. The location was very walkable but it is in a mixed community that did not always feel safe after dark. Public transportation to major sites was difficult to figure out. While the hotel staff was polite, they are not knowledgeable. Therefore, not helpful.
Overall, reviews for this hotel are mixed because all rooms are not equal. We thought all rooms were of of the same quality until we visited our daughter's room - she arrived 10 days into our 15-day stay. We believe ours was probably the worst. It was old and tired and in need of deep cleaning. The ceiling fans were filthy. Housekeeping was lackluster and services were not consistent. Some days no towels or bathroom tissue left. Bedding changed infrequently. Bedspread dingy. It took three days to get housekeeping services. Towels are dingy and stained. We were told that they will not clean your room if you leave clothing on the furniture, something we always made sure not to do. The bed was very hard and pillows were flat and hard. We requested softer pillows and were told they did not have any soft pillows so we purchased our own. When our daughter arrived, imagine our shock to learn that she had 4 soft pillows in her room and her bedding was bright white. This confirmed our belief that ours was the worst room. On 3 occasions we saw rats in the bar area. We reported the housekeeping and rat issues to management by email on the 2nd of our 15-day stay but never heard back from them. There is no on-site parking and street parking is quite challenging. Noisy guests in public spaces kept us up at night. No property oversight.

There is nothing good about this hotel
Extremely poor attention and rude staff, unreasonable and inflexible. Don’t stay here, there are much better options in the same area.

They property was awesome and clean the staff except for 1 gentleman who was extremely rude and was annoyed when we asked for towels after the pool (turns out he was the manager) everyone else was really nice and helpful
The rude annoyed front desk person who happened to be the manager when I asked

Front desk staff (guy and young lady) were very kind. The facilities left much to be desired though, as the standard of excellence is not at all present. The property has so much potential but the upkeep is gross (literally itching now as I reflect on the smell of sewage, the dust, stains and overall dirt present). This place is the absolute filthiest place we’ve ever experienced in the Caribbean.
They need to sanitize, paint and dust. This place is disgusting.

Everything was great as always. Only problem is the parking situation it takes for ever to find a parking space that's why I don't give them a 10.

Front desk:Customer service, very good. Professional and courtesy
Has maid service cleaned room, made bed ....I think they forgot to clean the bathroom. The bed was done, had fresh towels, and wastebaskets cleaned..(some dust in the bathroom). I had a great stay and will reserve in the near future and recommend it. Thank you, Ricardo.

I love the suite. Don't care too much for the location
The hotel was nice. Apart from the suites, the rooms were really small.

the property is beautiful. old world Spanish colonial style …Very pretty and it’s in a great location . a small block right from the beach. loved the local eating spots . The staff was excellent very helpful and friendly . The hotel felt safe.
I didn’t like that the bar is closed. it was one of the reasons I chose it. No hair dryers in the room or iron. The kitchenette is outdated and could use updating and more color.

Great location friendly helpful front desk staff.
First floor next to lobby. Very loud. People were talking and rude and loud at all hours of night and morning. Cars on street also very loud. Random security car alarms went off as well.

the location is very good. Only one block from the beach, close to various restaurants
the property is a very nice old house.. but totally rundown. The personnel at the lobby, a little bit rude. The rooms are spacious (at least the king size rooms) but the mattresses are old and very soft… not so pleasant

The hotel was very charming (old world style), clean, comfortable, great staff, morning coffee, ice machine, lounging area and cute small pool. Beach is a block right down the street maybe a 4 minute walk.
No parking available, have to find parking on the street.
