Beautiful hotel and pools
Food was absolutely awful in the main restaurant.

I loved everything. The food, the location, the decor, the staff.
I wish the Room and bathroom were a tad bit larger.

So perfect.

Fenomenaal ontbijtbuffet. Pure luxe. Geweldig personeel.

If you’re like me you read some of the mixed reviews and got a little nervous - don’t worry! The location is beautiful, the staff is amazing, and we had a lovely stay! We had the Reserve upgrade and I cannot recommend it enough. Having a bit of privacy and calm was worth it. The staff is so charming (extra shout out to Marina and Cristina in the reserve breakfast area/ mascalzone for always being a delight). The spa is also wonderful - I got the best massage of my life from Maria Jose who was so knowledgeable about every treatment and product, you could tell she was passionate about her work! I mention food below, but Kanna was our favorite restaurant and the food was really good. Breakfast in the Reserve area is the perfect start to the day. We might have been here at a slow time of year, but we never had issues getting a sun bed or Bali bed in the reserve area. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we only regret not staying an extra few days! Hopefully we get a chance to return in the future.
Overall I’d say that sometimes food is the weakest link of this otherwise perfect stay - some of the past reviews paint the food in a very negative light and I didn’t experience that! I thought at times it was just “okay.” Stick to the restaurants and make reservations - your experiences with food will go much better!!

The staff were amazing.
The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have tried. The choice, selection and quality was first class, absolutely spot on.
Ginger bar/lounge has a great ambience and lovely cocktails.
Al a carte breakfast in Reserve lounge. We didn’t use it as we prefer breakfast buffet.

Wunderschöne, grüne Anlage, top sauber alles, sehr nettes Personal, sehr schöne, moderne Zimmer, top Essen in den verschiedenen Restaurants, frischer Fruchtsaft beim Morgenessen

New and fresh
Good quality wasn’t great

The hotel is amazing!
Most of the staff we encountered were so accommodating and nice. My only suggestion would be for the bar staff at the pool to be more friendly rather than serving us as if they’re doing us a favour. We are paying customers!
That being said everything else was brilliant. The spa was great and so was the massage. Restaurants provided a variety of food. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve experienced. Definitely a 5* experience.
Bar staff were unfriendly.

The staff is very friendly and nice.. The food was wonderful and varied.. The rooms and the view of the ocean are very beautiful. The swimming facilities are great for the family
4.4
Paid extra for exclusive and there’s was limited sun beds in the private area with people placing out towels at 7 in morning and then not using the beds.
Being English sometimes delayed service in the restaurants when there were Spanish guests around you. We had to wait 40 minutes just to be served a drink at a alacarte table ?
4.4
Staff were exceptional.
Standards were very excellent.
Grounds and facilities with beautiful and spotlessly clean inside the hotel and outside
The food quality was mediocre to say the least although there was a lot to choose from in terms of restaurants and menu's for a five star hotel I would have thought that the actual quality of the food be far better than it actually was.

The staff here are genuinely all so wonderful, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and like you're at a spa. I don't want to single any one person out as they all are so incredible and made our stay so enjoyable.
We booked a full body scrub and massage and it was absolutely divine. The staff were so calming and we felt on cloud nine for days after. We totally forgot to enjoy the water therapy that's included in the package - oops!
The outdoor cinema was great. The popcorn and cocktails were super lush when watching Joker (not exactly a holiday movie, but I hadn't seen it so was great for me!).
The observatory evening was also a special experience. That dude's laser pointer is legit, but his knowledge and passion was a delight and made our evening.
Yoga with Isabel caters for all levels, shes such a wonderful teacher of the practice. We did a session under a giant tree which was really wonderful - however given how close the kids section was the little mermaid and frozen ballads were rather difficult to zone out.
And the guys at the aqua dace sessions were a bloody hoot! I will never not think of them whenever Rasputin plays in the future.
Kanna had the best cocktails, the shack had the best frozen drinks, lemon fish had the best evening views and seafood snacks
This is us getting super nit-picky as it was a great holiday!
It's starting to get busy, so if you want a good spot at the reserve pool you need to be up early.
What we did find odd was the reserve adult-only area was right by the kids zone. There were times where the kids were having a great time in their area, but that contrasts the whole vibe of the reserve space. Additionally when activities were in a nearby area the kids music and screams of joy was not great.
The exclusive activities included were great adventures outside of the resort, but will only happen if enough others want to go. Unfortunately we were the only folks interested in the hike which is only on Fridays, so was a bit disappointed we missed out on that.
The other odd thing is that it's an all-inclusive but there were a number of upsells, including when checking in. The wait staff usually mention the upsell options as their recommendation at dinner, so we stopped asking for their guidance. We aren't shy of paying, but it's not exactly a cheap holiday. I suspect they juice a lot more guests for a lot more money whilst they're there.
The app had conflicting info on what was/was not open so we missed out on a few activities and trying the Italian restaurant. Additionally, they didn't seem to have Fuego, Sante or La Guinda running in the gastro hall but it was mentioned on the website and by the staff in passing.
Avoid Mina and Tokimeku restaurants, the menu/food was just not very good. Go to Lemon Fish, Kanna or Peseta instead!

All the facilities are great. 3 big pools and a smaller one for kids (one for adults only).
Food is great and it is obviously a plus being all included. Drinks are from regular brands.
The concierge / custom service is excellent.
All our doubts and requests were completely fullfiled.
Great for couples with small kids / toddlers.
Right in front of the beach, which allows customers to go for a swim in the ocean and return in no time.
The pool facilities should close a bit later than 6pm.
The Spa would be much better if it had a jacuzzi.
4.4
everything was nice
the adult only restaurant, I could not use them
4.4
it was brand new, and nice design.
very small room. poor quality food on the restaurants.
Spa is very poorly designed. nice looking, but not functional.
The space is small and it felt extremly crowded despite only maybe 60% full.
everything was uncoordinated, and not at all very seemless.
you could not order drinks other than house
wine and beer at restaurants, so for dinners the
options were poor.
Kids club only open at pretty short and inconvenient time slots.
4.4
this property is by far the most beautiful hotel
I have ever stayed in. the all inclusive really was all included and no extra hidden costs.
the pools were very warm and the staff so friendly. I am so impressed I have booked again to stay in August.
We only ever go 5 star but if there was a 6 star hotel this is the one.
The property is perfect and I loved everything about it.
4.4
the staff are exceptional.
very clean. excellent food. But the staff are extraordinary
little not to like
4.4
First of all, we were going to enjoy sun and water without special expectations of the food. Like, "ok, all-inclusive, nice food will be there, that's fine". On the contrary - the food went above all the expectations and every meal was a delight. Especially they are focused on ceviche and tartars - amazing stuff they serve.
Then, the hotel itself has just opened from a major renovations - needless to say that everything is brand-new, marble is shiny and rooms are great.
Service: I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that guest to personel ratio is like 1:1. My gosh, whenever I left the room for 3 minutes, somehow when I came back the bed was made and room cleaned once again.
If you are on a "no-kids" vacation, I really recommend looking at "The reserve" option.
4.4
service at The Reserve, almost absent
4.4
- Super friendly and helpful staff
- Great breakfast with options for everyone
- Close to the beach
- Supermarket near by (walk from the hotel)
- The room was clean
- Nice pool
- The room was small
- The water in the room is with chlor…
- No drinking water in the room
- Hotel design is old fashioned (I know that they are renovating now so…)
- Gym is super hot with no aircon and the equipment is old
4.4
The location, gardens, arquitectural style, pools
It was maybe a bit outdated.
4.4
nothing
It is not a 5star hotel. It is 3 star at best. The photos are deceiving (heavily edited)
Rooms are outdated and poorly maintained, with poor workmanship and clear visible signs of wear and tear.
Housekeeping was below standards especially during covid. Our bedsheets and towels were not replaced daily we have to specifically ask for them to be changed daily - not 5 star service.
Showel gels and creams ran low and again had to ask for them to be re-stocked - not 5 star
Buffet breakfast was a shambles no clear signs of social distancing, cutlery and plates again were old and need replacing.
The standard rooms (not sea view) are overlooking the carpark and air conditioning vents - these are not shown in the photos.
The keycards malfunctioned and we were locked out
4.4
To be fair to the hotel it has been hit badly by covid So I can’t give a honest view because lots of things were not right
So dated for a 5* hotel very old fashioned
4.4
The Staff and the Pool
I have been in the Hotel before and I like it that's why I went again, but this time was NOT the same as it was before, they did try to save money in a wrong way?
4.4
It was a little outdated but this was made up for by the location and the very accommodating and friendly staff.
4.4
We upgraded to the Level grade because we wanted to have a sea view and therefore we were spilt up as a family but only by two rooms. Really friendly and informal hotel, not a 5 star but we really enjoyed our stay and needed the rest at the time, so I would recommend the hotel if you just want to chillout and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good sports and activities such as spinning, pilates and of course the observatory.
I knew from the photos and the price that it would not be a plush 5 star but in friendliness and unpretentiousness it did well. Lots of guests there had returned year after year, mostly Scandinavians and German.
