Soho solo SoSo.

Staff were friendly Bed was clean and comfortable Location was central to most things and cost was appropriate for decor and room size. I had a relaxing spa in the privacy of my room watching the footy and sipping Contreau.😌

Taps not secured in spa, fell off onto my foot. Spike rail that secures carpet down at entry to bathroom, where carpet meets tiles, spiked my foot and made me bleed in several little holes in my foot. Bath gel pump bottle squirted soap in every direction getting my eye. TV had no digital channels or streaming service, like being in 1990s. Outside wind blocker was dusty and banged up, unattractive feature really.

Love the hotel, would book again if I still wasn't waiting on the deposit back.

Still haven't received my refundable deposit and it's been two weeks since my stay.

Not a great deal to be completely honest.

The room appeared run down, ie power points loose, the air con barely worked at all, the pillows had no support and the mattress was really firm. There was minimal complimentary items ie soap/s, no biscuits or coffee pods, the room was very dark inside, minimal lighting. During my stay my access card stopped working and required resetting along with the second card. There was no option to order a meal from the restaurant downstairs and have this delivered to my room.

Disappointing. Without updates to TVs and Maintenace in the bathrooms I would not stay again.

Size of the apartment, location, balcony, complimentary slippers. Reception staff member was lovely and accommodating.

The TV is outdated, and we could not watch Netflix or any other streaming apps. Some of the channels on free to air to ages to load and the screen was black. We, as very busy parents of 3 small children, were looking forward to a night in watching movies and relaxing. So were very disappointed that we couldn't watch a movie together. The shower recess has visible mold within the silicon of the shower recess. The most important thing to us using motels/hotels is cleanliness. One of my children is actually allergic to all molds so this is a massive issue for me. Due to these issues, It would be very unlikely we would stay again.

Great friendly staff that were understanding and you will not be disappointed to stay in this hotel

the room was clean and a decent size. The comfort of the bed and pillows are A grade, definitely not on the cheap

Staff were amazing. Toni at SOHO Hotel was a super host.

A quiet hotel, well sited but showing a few age wrinkles

Generous room space. I appreciate having genuine bedside lamps. The sink near the tea making facilities was good. Noise free.

Although facilities were good they were showing their age. Screen cords kept slipping. The TV had no functioning HD channels. The toilet need a new gasket and was constantly trickling.

Hotel Stay

The hotel was in perfect location for what we had planned for the weekend. The staff were really friendly and happy 😊 the room was amazing.

The bathroom was a little small but besides that nothing really.

The swipecard access to my room failed/did not work at 10.30 pm upon my return to my room. It look 25 mins to resolve the issue. Andf the hotel failed to compensate me, even though I gave them the opportunity to do so.

Location and access to local carpark (at a cost or course)

Bathroom extractor fan didnt work, powerpoint behind bed is faulty, Pull-down blind has come away from its aluminium extrusion at the bottom, lighting seemed pretty dull

I would love to try Soho again

the room size and lighting was very nice and relaxing. the water pressure was a bit low which was OK. the staff were friendly and helping. The best was great

It would be nice it there were towel slippers in the room. rather than that, I couldn't complain..

There was alot of mold in the shower/bathroom. Our room smelt like rotten milk.

This motel was super clean and the staff were very friendly

There was nothing i didn't like. The motel had a restaurant downstairs so didn't have to go out after dark.

Soho hotel review.

I liked that when I complained about the state of the accommodation I was refunded the full amount.

Stains on the couch, a/c that didn't work, plumbing that was installed wrong didn't work, also they had installed water saver shower head, the room smelt, it was dirty, dusty, and the bathroom had dirty tiles and drains, and the room I paid for didn't match what I got, the pool was advertised as set at 30°C but it was freezing and unusable. Appalling

The property has not been looked after - finishes are generally worn out- curtains, carpets, blinds etc need immediate replacing.

No wifi, dated but relatively comfortable room.

Close proximity to everything.

No wifi. Was bounced around 2 staff on the phone who couldn't seem to understand that no matter how many times I entered the wiifi password and connected, there was still no internet! The phone in the room requires internet to be connected too. Although they also didn't seem to understand that. Then was told bluntly to wait till morning. Hopeless.

Very good

the room was large with everything we needed. the pool was next to us and we used it regularly. loved the big soft chairs in the room.

the bed was very hard. we both had sore backs by the time we left.

Good stay

Good size room area, staff friendly enough, good restaurant below, nice feel and good spot/view.

No room service, no mini bar, bed a bit hard, balcony a bit worn looking and the bathroom was tight.
