The staff were great and the breakfast too you could have anything and the staff would provide it.
Unfortunately we are elderly and have trouble with stairs, it is such an old building they are unable to put a lift in

Personeel heel erg vriendelijk.en ontbijt was goed. Niets was te veel gevraagd.
Luidruchtig. Vraag een rustige kamer als je een lichte slaper bent.

Gezellige Engelse sfeer en een aardige host
Erg gehorig, houten vloer en je kon niet overal staan in de badkamer

breakfast was great , room had a couple of minor bits that were reported to staff and were being sorted as i left , as you can tell by the name it is by a roundabout and as an old building you can hear the traffic .. but it isnt something that should bother you as you are expecting it and everything else more than makes up for that little inconveinience

Exactly what we required for our over night stay. Nothing fancy but clean and tidy with very helpful staff.
Good breakfast.

Breakfast was very good, plenty of toast if required and cereal and juice available before the choice of traditional English breakfast or continental.
Check in was quick and we were shown to our room. New carpets throughout and it had recently been painted. Plenty of hangers. Coffee, tea and milk. Not noisy even though we were by the road.
Bar was open until late and we were able to order coffees. Staff were friendly.
The restaurant looks tired in places.
We were happy with our stay.

Basic but clean comfortable room. The staff were pleasant and breakfast was good.
Everything was fine.

The staff were very friendly and so helpful the food and breakfast was lovely. A very pleasant friendly atmosphere locals pub it was dog friendly hotel with where you could sit and have a drink with the dog .
The hotel decor was dated the bedrooms and bathrooms could do with a make over. Our bed pillows were a bit hard , flat and uncomfortable but it was clean it was fine for one or 2 over night stay . The location main road was very busy as it was on a you had to be careful if you wanted to cross over it to to walk into town.

The bar is a super friendly small place which we found really relaxing after a long journey, rooms were clean and more than adequate for our needs,
Breakfast was excellent , really good value, all staff really friendly and helpful. Couldn’t fault this hotel, really good value for money
Have no complaints at all and nothing negative to say

We are regular customers of this hotel having frequent appointments at St Alexandra Hospital, just 10 mins away.
We are always greeted warmly on arrival which includes a welcome to our little dog, Pippin.
Rooms are comfortable and clean and have all we need.
There is such a warm atmosphere in The Roundabout Hotel, it's just like home from home.
The food is exceptional!!!
Whether a breakfast or an evening meal, it's always spot on.
My husband and I have had a number of dishes cooked by different chefs and its always of the best standard.
10/10 means we keep coming back!!!
You all make hospital appointments in Portsmouth something to look forward to.
When I am finally in good health, we will continue to return to forge a new relationship with Portsmouth and continue our visits.
There's nothing not to like!!!!
I won't be happy if this little gem now gets so booked up, we can't get in lol.

The location was good 30 min to peppa pig world and that's saved us around £250 pound yes only got one day in but it was a full day and then going back to hotel started there for 2 nights.
Not Thier fault the sun made the room warm but they did give us a fan the only other thing is I have to use a machine and needed a plug socket and the lamps was on round pins .
Didn't ask for an adapter as felt I didn't have to in this country but apart from that all ok.
Please note the stay was fine

Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. Parking was free. The bar was good. Good beers and not to dear.
The food. Not up to the standard we are used to in budget hotels we have stayed in over the years.

Clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. Better than many 2star hotels I’ve stayed in.
Next to a busy road, it could do with more noise insulation.

Good location, nice open fire
Roon 2 very noisy no heating no secondary glazing no very clean. They know the room had no heating as the girl said their was a heater in the room but there wasn't. They didn't say the room wouldn't be cleaned or the bins empty. Had to ask for more tea & coffee. We got moved to room 14 were there was a fan going all night. I wasn't good as it was booked for a special birthday & on trip advisor there was people writing about room 2 & 14 before we stayed
