Breakfast was fab, typically French but amazingly fresh and tasty. Served in room at time requested.
Location perfect, near to metro and walkable to the centre and surrounding areas.

We ended up not staying there. We arrived late and were expecting something different than a room in a house with a private bathroom. We thought it was going to be a whole apartment. The room was lovely and the bathroom was as well. It just didn't work for us.

George was an excellent host and he provided us with all the information we needed to navigate around the city and experience all of the best things Bordeaux has to offer. The accommodation was excellent too and we felt we had so much space to relax in the hotel. The air-con was also great which is a must in France in the summer time.
Nothing - everything was perfect for our requirements. Would happily stay again!

Great place to stay in Bordeaux. Georges is amazing: very attentive, approachable and funny. He is always available when you need him. The place is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The beds are comfortable and facilities super clean. We had to catch a train at 6:50am and Georges was kind enough to give us a ride to the station.
We did not feel safe in the neighborhood at night. I usually walk to and from the places I staying, but since we were 2 ladies, we felt safer getting an uber when returning after dark.

Beautifully decorated and new room. Quiet. Good helpful host.
Somewhat hard to spot the house in an area a bit far from the central location but I knew this. No fridge or fresh milk for the coffee provided . Bedroom is upstairs so a whisker hard for me

We had a nice welcome to Bordeaux.
The room was spacious and very quiet leading to the rear of the house. It is an easy walk to the citiy center and pleasant if you choose the side street.

Beautifully decorated room in an old limestone house
Very comfortable, quiet, and spa-like
Georges is a fun and witty host (both in French and English!). Most of all, he is very good at reading people and is very attentive. He was always a step ahead and anticipated what I needed before I even knew I did! He takes pride in being a good host and delivers flawlessly.

surprisingly large and pleasant room. I asked for a place to work and they installed a big desk and chair for me which was really nice and helpful.

A gem. Behind this simple red door on a very ordinary street, Georges the owner has created a haven with beautiful decor, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, lovely en-suites with a good shower, very quiet. Georges himself couldn’t be more helpful, giving tips for dinner and what to see. There’s parking spaces to unload directly outside & a car park at the Cappucin market at the end of the street. 15 min walk to the Grosse Cloche and the old town with lots of cafés & restaurants. if you want something small & more interesting than the boring large hotels give this place a go.
nothing to dislike, loved it but note the rooms are on the 1st floor with no lift.

my room was very comfortable and quiet, and very nicely decorated. George was very helpful, having a map ready for me, highlighting every thing I should see. Breakfast was a delicious tray of fruit, yogurt, juice, croissants and breads. An easy walk to the train station and to the centre of Bordeaux.

Great room with historic features and beautiful roll-top bath, with great lighting. Host was really helpful, thoughtful and funny. Breakfast was done very well and all with a personal touch. Only 200m or so from the market and another few minutes beyond that to the old town. Much more character than the big names further North which you'd pay about 30-40/night more for.
Parking can be difficult all over Bordeaux, and expensive.
