A good choice if you're unfamiliar with Nanjing

The location was convenient, being just a couple blocks from an important metro station. The room was large, comfortable, and well appointed. The building interior was impressive and had some convenient amenities such as a convenience store and a food delivery drop-off point.

For what I was paying, I was a bit surprised that the staff would not allow food delivery to bring things to our door, or to do so themselves. I was even more surprised and extremely disappointed that this expensive, non-smoking room consistently and increasingly smelled of smoke, particularly in the bathroom. When I complained about this, I was told that it was probably because of another guest on our floor and offered another room, but it's just a problem that, for the price, I don't want to put up with in the first place.

it’s one of the oldest 5star hotel in Nanjing. I liked my stay , except I was there at 15:00 and my room was not ready but later they helped me to arrange on in 10 minutes.

Convenient. Friendly. Comfortable.

The hotel is located walking distance from the city centre hub. It's also about 100m from the metro station and hospital if needed. The rooms were quiet and clean and has bathtubs in them and great views of the city and mountain area. Staff were friendly and spoke enough English to communicate with us. We didn't use their restaurants or bars though as we went out all the time.

The showers in the rooms aren't friendly for tall people and trying to get to the right water temperature takes about 20 minutes. The hotel is currently under renovation and when trying to find their temporary entrance it took a while as there weren't many signs telling you which way to go.

nothing much

this place is under renovation. if i would have known i wold have never booked. there is no proper entrance, the car can’t even properly drop you off at what is the back entrance and now front entrance. the breakfast restaurant is a mess and the breakfast is focused on chinese. only 1 type of western fruit at breakfast for instance (melon). they have some waffles and pastries but very limited. i am putting this sheraton on my blacklist. not worth the money.

Sheraton stay, breakfast

The staff were helpful. At first we were given the room without a bathtub but after communicating with the staff they changed our room. The non-renovated room was way better than the renovated room we were given at first. Bigger room, better bathroom, higher floor and nicer view.

First, the breakfast was bad, there were mostly Chinese options with dishes like steamed buns and duck blood noodles, which aren’t what foreigners would expect to be served for breakfast in a five star hotel. Some of the Chinese options were over salted on the first day and under salted the next day, which shows lack of standards. Some of the staff in the restaurant were not well dressed, tables had no napkins, not properly cleans dishes put on the table. Second, the building is very old on the outside, as well as the lobby and dinning area. The lobby had a strange, suffocating air refresher smell. Third, no concierge to help carrying your luggage out of the car.

I did NOT reach my expectations of a sheraton hotel. Everything is old and outwarn.

I liked the location of the hotel.

Although the hotel has been renovated 2 years ago, it is very 'used'. You can see it in the design, in the wholes in the carpet, in the squeking doors. Everything is old and looks very used.

Superb

The staffs are very friendly and helpful during my stay. The location of this hotel is perfect as it’s not far fro the city center. I would recommend this place for anyone who travels to Nanjing.

Facilities are a bit old in my room.
