Just basic but comfortable.

The room was spacious, with a well appointed bathroom. The room was very quiet. The staff were very polite, not quite friendly nor forthcoming as if they were there to get paid.

The room was very hot and we were unable to turn off the oil heater. We opened the window but it made little difference. The TV was so small (size of an A4 page) you could hardly see it from the bed. The remote was larger than the tv. The dinner was lacking in quality and the staff were not very informed. My steak was overcooked and tough. Very basic food.

That was lovely 3 days.

What I liked was that, the property was very clean, very quiet and not too far from my destination. Staff was very friendly and nice breakfast.

Hard to say what I didn’t liked. I didn’t noticed anything that I would complain.

Convenient place to stay

The hotel couldn't be any more convenient. It was a great place to stop for a night. The restaurant was open late, and the food options were plentiful. The breakfast in the morning was great. The large scone with clotted cream and jam was a highlight.

Most rooms face the road and west toward the sun. So, the room was a bit hot early in the evening, and there was minor road noise. Still nothing to be too concerned about.

loved the staff and great food

our view from the window was of roofs - and also the air conditioning units which were noisy - so we kept the windows closed. there was a wedding on the day we were there and the receptionist kindly told us what time the music would finish. as it happened - we didn’t hear a sound!

Lovely place to stay.

Stayed here with my sister for a weekend break and had a brilliant time.. ...Really nice hotel...lovely staff from start to finish!! Nothing was too much trouble!! All so friendly and helpful...lovely food as well..excellent location..just a few miles into Waterford city.....thank you John and your lovely staff...excellent service..we will be back!!

Arrived happy, looked after well and left happy. Looking forward to my next visit.

I like this place, it feels like home from home. I have visited a few times as its a great stop off when leaving or returning to Rosslare port. Rooms are comfortable and ensuite showers are hot.

Excellent stay family friendly

We are a family of four with 2 young kids and the hotel manager made us welcome right from the start. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and refilled with tea, biscuits and mineral water. We had dinner one night at the hotel and it was delicious and even the kids finished their plate. The location was excellent with easy access to Waterford and Wexford with plenty of parking. All in all it was a wonderful experience and looking forward to staying again.

Best location for touring waterford and kilkenny

Once again the most comfortable stay in the friendliest hotel. Joanne you are the most friendly welcoming lady loved chatting with you. Fantastic bar food friendliest of atmospheres. Super location for touring waterford & Kilkenny. We will be back again

1)downgraded without partial refund(booked for large family room which contained 1 bunk bed,2 singles and 1 double. But was given a much smaller room with only 2 singles and 1 double) 2) the front door/main entrance of the hotel is locked after midnight with no staff available.The only way out will be through emergency exit.
