Had a great private chill out time at one of The Falls cottages. The finer details (fresh roses, bathroom & spa bath accessories, cleanliness) and the hosts themselves made it extra special. The gourmet BBQ dinner hamper delivered to the door meant we could ‘stay home’, dine on the deck and enjoy the rainforest surrounds. After an early morning hike to the Kondalilla Falls next door we then shared a breakfast hamper - perfect!

Everything was wonderful. Perfect location to takes drives around the hinterland, go on bushwalks and visit the little towns. The cabin was superb, with a fireplace and hot tub and everything provided - including breakfast provisions and fresh baked pastries every morning. The hosts were amazing, so helpful but also respected privacy. Would highly recommend and we will return for sure.
nothing, everything was perfect

Beautiful place. Very friendly hosts.

Abundant, quality breakfast provisions were supplied, along with an offer to replenish as needed on our second day. Beautifully appointed rooms, all with ensuites. Comfy beds and soft bed linen. Allan kindly reset the fireplace for us on the second night. Kitchen/s are well stocked with lots of glassware and crockery. Lovely big family kitchen which made it easy for us to self-cater.

Cottages are Very Nice, Very Clean, Very Secluded
Attitude of Owner/Manager......kept wanting to making sure we were out by the (required) "Check Out Time" to cater for the next Guests & was rude to my Partner in this regard......BBQ did not work (so we could not cook dinner as planned), DVD did not work.......No Assistance with handling luggage etc. (considering access to each cottage is Very Steep & Very Very Challenging unless you are "Super Fit")

The hosts are wonderful and go the extra mile to ensure your stay is enjoyable.
Fresh pastries delivered each morning, little extras like fresh cut roses in the room. Well stocked fridge with breakfast foods, plunger coffee, fresh bread. Chocolates and port on the coffee table. They pride themselves on the quality of the stay.
What wasn’t explained in the booking.com description was the on site parking is away from the cottages. There’s a substantial walk from the car to the cottage on a boardwalk. The hosts take your luggage down to the cottage and back up to your car at the end of the stay. It’s a beautiful boardwalk through rain forest so more of a treat than an imposition but the walk back up to the car when going out could be difficult for anyone of low fitness or disability. I think this should be explained before someone books.

Loved the location and the owners went out of their way to impress and make our stay an amazing experience.
There is a long ( but beautiful) boardwalk down the hill from the car to the cottages that we were not expecting. May be difficult for people with mobility issues.

Everything! A 4 night visit but would loved to have stayed longer. We booked the upstairs level of the magnificent homestead. Each bedroom had it’s own bathroom and the living areas were beautifully decorated with a well stocked fireplace. The kitchen was large and homely. Air conditioned (except the living room with fireplace) so was lovely and warm.
Great location close to walks and restaurants at Kondalilla and Montville.
Out hosts made sure we had all we needed to make it a special stay- thank you!!

Breakfast selection in the room was great and replenished when requested. Room was good size with plenty of room to relax, comfortable furniture and cosy with the fire. Verandah has lovely outlook for tea.
Long walk down hill along boardwalk to room was fine for us and Alan assisted with luggage but should have been a clear note in the booking area that access limited to those who are fairly mobile. Should also warn patrons about adjusting fire when operating as knobs get very hot and need to use fire tongs.

Great location, with everything thought of. Generous Breakfast provisions are supplied complimented by very carefully cared for kitchen appliances - A great induction hotplate, and electric frypan make breakfast a pleasure to cook. Great to then work off a large breakfast with a walk down to the falls and back without having to worry about parking. The Barossa Port and a beautiful spa of an evening help to finish off a great day.
Amazing hosts that make you feel incredibly welcome with plenty of local knowledge. We look forward to returning soon.
I genuinely think everything has been thought of.

The attention to detail was awesome. Beautiful fresh produce supplied for breakfast. Fresh pastries every morning. A decanter of port to enjoy at the end of the evening. Excellent supply of bubble bath for the spa bath and tea candles. Music softly playing in the background. A very thoughtful combination of things to make our stay feel very special and relaxing.

Cosy cabins nestled in lush rainforest setting, extremely well equipped with everything you could need. Large spa bath, port and choccies on arrival and more breakfast food that you could eat makes it a romantic getaway dream. The owners are delightful, knowledgeable and accomodating, nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely return!
Quite a decent boardwalk down to and up from the cabins, not an issue if you have no issues with walking but can be tiring with all your bags.
