Such a warm welcome that continued throughout our stay. Angela and Emilio are outstanding hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is amazing and we couldn’t have wished for more! The new jucuzzi and swimming pool make this property a perfect getaway, We can’t recommend this enough 😊
Nothing!

The property was amazing but the best thing about our stay were the host. Throughout Europe I’ve never met nice people. They take care of you like you are their family. Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again when I go back to Italy.

This is the perfect place for the romantic vacation. Close to all top places (about 6 km up to the mountain from the centre of Amalfi) but the car is necessary because no bus stop nearly. Angela and Emilio the best hosts ever!
The room with balcony and epic sea view. Breakfast was wonderful, cooked by Angela from the fresh products each morning. Solaria is always in our souls from now. If you want to be in the Eden without crowds of tourists but with the opportunity to arrive to all Amalfi coast whithin 15 minutes it is the best choice.

Me and my sister stayed at Solaria for 3 nights and truly loved our stay! The room was fresh, big and clean with a mini fridge of cold drinks inside and the view was stunning of the sea. The breakfast was amazing in the mornings, and the hosts kindness and friendliness really made our trip there so good! We were greeted with cake and drinks when we arrived and given recommendations on how best to get around by the owners, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the lovely stay!

the breakfast was good and the managers wife is nice. The view is also nice.
The bed is extremely old it felt like a box spring.. my wife and I couldn’t sleep well during our stay. The hot water in our room didn’t work so we couldn’t even take a shower. One night we even lost power in our room. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the room either which made things even more uncomfortable because the hotel is secluded and we had to rely on the manager for advice to get anywhere. Beware that it is extremely difficult to get around from this hotel as it is secluded and the manager makes it even harder. He has some sort of problem with the taxi drivers in Amalfi so he tried to force us to use the bus… The bus is a couple hundred stairs down from the hotel and doesn’t show up on time.. it was raining so we got soaked. We told the manager we wanted a taxi for this reason but he refused to listen. He did the same thing for our way back to the hotel from Amalfi and it resulted in us getting stranded because the bus stop on the way back is nowhere near the hotel. We had to walk down at least 1000 steps (not an exaggeration) In the pitch black of night in the rain get to a restaurant and then take a restaurant shuttle back to the hotel.. this took hours. On top of all this the hot tub is gross and the manager charges $15 euros to use the sauna for 30 minutes.. I’d rather just wait to get back home and use my gym sauna. Overall staying at this hotel really did ruin our time on the Amalfi coast- the reviews are extremely deceiving. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere closer to Amalfi or positano at a place that has more professionalism. This hotel has less resources than an Airbnb.

stunning location, really comfortable
nothing I can think of

Solaria is an oasis in the heart of the busy Amalfi Coast. It's at about 15-20 minutes drive up the hill from Amalfi and the view from the room or terrace during breakfast is simply unbeatable.
The entire coast from Amalfi to Positano is extremely crowded especially in peak season. So staying away from the buzz and enjoying the tranquility, the stunning views and the hospitality of Angela and Emilio was definitely the right choice.
There's a punctual public bus departing from Tovere (5min walking distance) that was super convenient to take us to Amalfi. The same bus also stops in Conca dei Marini which is 25 min walking distance from Fiordo di Furore.
Parking in Amalfi/Positano is impossible and if you do manage it's insanely expensive so using public bus/boat required a little more planning but also felt the right thing to do.

The most magical stay. Michael and I loved it! Wonderful hosts who really go the extra mile. The place is situated in a beautiful quiet part of the stunning coast. Thank you so much! We have made some amazing memories there.
There was nothing at all to dislike. It was perfect!

Emelio and Angela are fantastic hosts, providing great advice and knowledge on the area. Angela’s breakfasts were a highlight of every morning!

When we first arrived, Emilio was there to meet us and give us recommendations about restaurants and how to go about coordinating the hike to the path of the gods. we woke up in the morning to absolutely amazing view overlooking the ocean. Angela is truly an angel. She is incredibly sweet and we felt that we were in amazing hands. The breakfast was by far the best we had throughout our 2 week stay in Italy. Only good things to stay. Although it is slightly outside Amalfi, this was a hidden gem for us and we hope to be back in the future.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Great location, away from the busy Amalfi. Amazing views from the hillside. Best of all, our hosts were the most helpful I've ever experienced!
I only wish we could have stayed longer!

The view, the peace and the serenity. Emilio, Angela and Dominico were so friendly and helpful and amazing. (And Angela and her friend's cooking was just delicious! Those cakes!!)
There's nothing not to like, but I'll just note here that if you don't have a car then the bus timetable back from Amalfi is a little restrictive with the last bus being at 8pm.

The breakfast was amazing, fresh, delicious selection of eggs, meats, cheeses, pastries, cakes, etc. All freshly made, served on the terrace overlooking the sea. The hosts were fantastic; friendly and helpful.

Extremely welcoming family run business, very friendly and helpful and literally went out of their way to help me, I got lost and Emilio passed me by on his moped and drove me to the next village. Very kind hosts. Wonderful view of the sea. Spacious room and balcony. Lovely breakfast with wide selection of homemade cakes, fruit juice and coffee.
It’s best if you have transport for this location. I got by on foot but a lot easier if you have a car or motorcycle.

A gem in Tovere with spectacular views and some of the most hospitable owners - Emilio and Angela - you will ever find. Super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is superb with some of the most delicious cakes lovingly baked by Angela.
Public transport is very limited, but don't worry... Emilio will help to the best of his ability.

We had a wonderful stay in Solaria. The hotel has a nice view to the sea, the rooms are very comfortable and extremely clean. But what stands out is the care from the owners towards their guests. They make you feel part of the family! Emilio, Angela and Domenico are great people. The breakfast is amazing with fresh handmade cakes, local cheese, delicious coffee and much more! They were always offering us hints of things to do and also gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations in the area! I would definitely return to Solaria next time I am in Amalfi!

Staying at Solaria was like being welcomed into the home of an Amalfi family. There was so much love and care put into all that they do and they are concerned that your experience is positive.
The rooms were lovely, super clean, quiet and comfortable.
Breakfast by Angela every morning was such a treat. She served a brunch of local and homemade dishes. The cakes she makes fresh daily are with fresh ingredients and local traditions. She remembered each day how we liked our coffee and where we liked to sit.
Breakfast was served with a view of the water and we enjoyed lounging on the beautiful property.
Emilio helped us find great local spots that we never would have otherwise found. He was always eager to here how our experience was and was so genuine and caring. If we had any problem, he would try to help fix it if he could.
I loved that this place was away from the main hustle and bustle of Amalfi but close enough that we could reach all the hotspots if we wanted.
You definitely should have your own transportation and be prepared to climb some stairs to get to your room simply because everywhere on the Amalfi coast requires some climbing. Domenico helped with our bags on arrival and departure. We drove our car to the main stairs and then turned around at the top of the street. It was so convenient.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. Will definitely stay here again if I am on the Amalfi coast again.

Solaria is a special place in every way. After a long self-chosen walk from Amalfi we were warmly welcomed by Emilio and his fantastic wife with a with a drink, a homemade cake and an orientation to the area.
With our travelling experience we are comfortable to say that the love the hosts have invested in this property and in our experience is above and beyond.
The room was impeccably clean and lovely furnished with a breathtaking view. We stayed for 2 days but could easily have stayed longer. Here you'll will have any help you need for your stay and not to be forgotten the Breakfast! there's is no word for it, we will be back Thank you so much for making this stay a memory for life.

The room and the view were beautiful. The hosts gave us all the possible information necessary to move around the coast and reccomended us a beautiful restaurant for our anniversary. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! If we are in the region we will definitely come back :)

The owners, Emilio and Angela, are absolutely lovely. Angela cooks the most delicious cakes and prepares you a plate with eggs and bruschetta for breakfast each morning with whatever else you might like. Emilio was super helpful with recommendations for things to do around the area. Our room was enormous and clean. Bonus points for the jacuzzi on the property, such a nice way to relax.
The location is very high up the hill - about 20 mins drive to Amalfi town. There's a bus service about 10 mins walking from the property but the schedule is very limited, so moving from Solaria around the coast can be challenging, even with a car as parking is a disaster in this region.

Staff is super welcoming, caring and fun to speak with 😉
Expect the place to be a bit up on the hills but a piece of paradise to relax in!
Breakfast 🥐 was fantastic and there is a great parking space.
WiFi speed and reach could be much better

Solaria is one exeptional place on the Amalfi coast. Beautiful building surrounded by luscious greenery and flowers.
Rooms are comfortable and spatious, decorated in beautiful antique style with tipical Amalfi coast pottery. View from the room’s balcony overlooking the Mediterranean sea to which you wake up in the morning or enjoy in the evenings is breathtaking.
Host Emilio welcomes you with open hands and so much information about the area, from day trip ideas to restaurant recommendations. He is very accommodating and organized shuttle services to pick us up and bring us back from dinner in nearby restaurants.
His wife Angela, hostess of the year, takes care of your breakfast with freshly prepared meals and delicious home made cakes, baked with lots of passion, love and quality ingredients.
They also provide top level of cleanliness, which is very important to us and were never disappointed!
Their son Dominico is the sweetest, helping you with luggage and making sure you get back home safe every evening.
All in all Solaria is not just a B&B but feels more like a 5 star hotel and a home with the personal approach.
Whenever we return to the Amalfi coast, we will stay in Solaria again for sure and also recommend it to all our friends!
Vi auguriamo tutto il meglio e speriamo di vedervi presto!

Angela & Emilio are exceptional nice, warm and kind.
Seating in the balcony of our room, looking at the Mediterranean sea, listening to the silence, is unique and tranquil.
The breakfast is great and Angela's cakes are delicious.
Emilio gave us many recommendation concerning site seeing in the area.
There are 2 good restaurants in the area that will send a car, free of charge, and will bring you back after dinner.
Did I mention the open jacuzzi? It's great.
I would have walk up to Solaria by foot.
It's located high up on the hill.
