Superb

Worth visiting Creta island in march! A lot of sport activities for this season and no turists. My "base" was at this lovely hotel in best room with a view on a sea. Price was for a hotel very good! Such a nice owners, great food (and a lot), very clean room. Owner's wife was like my mom and she noticed every small detail I needed (for example 2 spoons in room,..). I also had a chance to see local's life cause they were gathering in a hotel's dining room to watch a TV together.

nice stay in nice area.

The hotel is Not so gar away fron Plakias. It is In the mountain with a nice view on the sea.. The owners are really nice. we enjoyed out Star and as Weltherrschaft fabuleous breakfast.

Exceptional

The landlady, Josephine, is filipina and decorated the room as only she could. Everything was geared to make us comfortable. Three kilometres away there is a seafront restaurant with excellent food. My compassion rated it the best that we had on our two-week tour of the island.

Welcoming and comfortable with lovely food.

Beautifully presented room, all very clean. Basic but comfortable not large but had everything that was necessary including a refrigerator. At last a lovely soft bed. Large terrace with table chairs and fantastic view towards the sea. Breakfast excellent, good quality and plenty of it served at the table, eggs cake fruit yoghurt orange juice lovely coffee. We enjoyed our dinner both evenings, everything was delicious. Josephine is very welcoming and hospitable. Lots of stairs to reach the rooms, as expected so not counting as a negative. Look forward to staying here again.

The wetroom floor was very slippery, felt like wall tiles on the floor. Bed was only a double, but to be fair a larger bed might make the room cramped.

After a few years, I was in the area again. It was clear to me, that I will stay overnight again at St. George. It was really excellent, as last time. Very clean room. Lovingly furnished. Everything you need is available. The hosts Petros and Josephine are extremely nice and friendly. The breakfast is very varied and the food in the in-house restaurant, is traditional, with fresh local products, freshly prepared and very tasty. I will definitely come back! OK the building isn't the newest and there are little things that aren't quite perfect. On the other Hand, that is also what makes the hotel so charmant. But, the hotel and the owners are honest and for me, that counts more than perfection and luxury. And in case anyone wonders, how I can judge after just one night? In the evaluation, I also used my experiences from 2016, when I was there for 14 days.

I loved every minute of it and can't wait to come back!

More things that I can say! The room was delightful, beautifully decorated with a fabulous view of the sea. The food was simply out of this world, from the lovely breakfast with fresh orange juice and yogurt with Greek honey to the delicious meal with Greek specialties, with every evening something different to try. The hosts are wonderful and do everything they possibly can to make your stay enjoyable. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to get away from the rat race and enjoy breath-taking views, lovely sandy beaches, calm sea, and beautiful weather. We will definitely be back.

One morning there was a group of rather loud French guests at breakfast, but other than that, there was nothing that disappointed me.

We spend a wonderful time here. The rooms have a very unique old schoolish style but with love for tiny details and the balcony offers a beautiful view of the ocean. The owners are very friendly and hospitable! I would very much recommend to take a breakfast, since it was very tasty and quite a lot :D and for that price a very genourus offer. We will def come back! Stay all well and healthy!

Always feeling like home

I am a regular visitor to St Georg and I always feel like coming home. The owners care a lot about their guests. the rooms are simple but very nicely decorated, all is very clean. The breakfast is just incredibly great, Greek style or whatever you want. A car is recommended. The beaches nearby are very clean and rather calm. Thank you so much again Josephine and Petros!!

Cute guest house

The property was in a lovely quiet location with a beautiful view of the sea. Polyrizos beach was only a couple of minutes drive away or a 20 minute walk. Plakias is the closest town 20mins away for a ‘busy’ feel with restaurants and shops so we had the best of both. Owners were very friendly and welcoming and Josephine was very helpful with sorting us out with a baby cot in the room.

The bathroom was very small with a hand held shower

I enjoyed my few days staying at the Saint George Hotel. Petros and Josephine were welcoming and helpful and the breakfasts and evening meals were excellent, very well-prepared and beautifully presented. The room was comfortable with good WiFi. Rodakino is a good location for touring this part of Crete: many interesting destinations just a short drive away, a walking path starting from the village and three quiet beaches just down the hill.

Very relaxing and enjoyable place with wonderful hosts.

For the second time I spent very happy days at the St. Georges Boutique Hotel. Josephine and Petros are wonderful hosts, so you feel like at home. The excellent cuisine in the hotel's own restaurant offers fresh dishes every day, among others from the fusion cuisine of Josephine or classic Greek. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, each in its own distinctive style, all with sea views and a veranda. The sea is about 2 minutes away by car. All in all a relaxing, quiet and very enjoyable place to which I will always be happy to return.
