We had a wonderful stay at this spacious and welcoming home. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a clean and beautifully set-up space that felt like a true home away from home. The linens were fresh, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged. The house is well-equipped with plenty of utensils and even games for the kids, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The couches were comfortable, and the large dining room provided the perfect spot for family meals. With three excellent bathrooms and showers, there was plenty of room for everyone to relax. This home is ideal for anyone with a big family looking for a relaxing break. We highly recommend it!

Was very disappointed in the house .
There were tiny black bugs with legs on the kitchen counter and windowsill and floor.
Also they were all over the sliding door curtains attached to it . Couldn’t use the slider as the screen was broken . The track that slider was on was so dirty.Counter tops were not cleaned.
Very dusty . Couldn’t get the TV to work until my husband switched batteries from one remote to the remote we needed to use . Saturday the bathroom toilet downstairs overflowed.
We were supposed to be there from Thursday to Sunday as this was a getaway and we did Santa’s Village with our son and daughter in law and granddaughter and there dog. We ended up leaving on Thursday . So we lost almost 2 days at the house . Maintenance did come in to spray but it didn’t take care of the bugs .They still found a way in. So think twice before booking this house .

The property was great, well equipped. We had everything we needed. First time staying in the Franconia area, the house was convenient to the activities we wanted. I would recommend the house.

We had a great time. We originally reserved for 8 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs but ended up only taking 2 dogs, 6 adults and a toddler. The space was perfect, very clean and just the right size. The property was secluded but also close to several hikes, etc. we love renting from Vacasa, the house was clean and they keep you updated and are also very responsive. The house was great for all of us to sit and have dinner together or play games while also providing space if you wanted quiet time. We would definitely stay again and also go through Vacasa.

We had a wonderful time in Franconia and really enjoyed the house. It was a beautiful secluded location which was just what we needed.

The house is infested. Every single day I cleaned up dead bugs in the kitchen - along the windowsill, countertop and sink. These bugs were all over the house along the read facing rooms. The window AC units are covered in mold and mildew and need to be replaced. We found 2 live cockroaches in the bedrooms and left the house soon thereafter before our vacation was over. Vacasa manages the property and they are completely unresponsive. Despite sending several pictures and video, Vacasa is claiming there are no bugs in the house. I will never return to this house nor book with Vacasa. Shame on Vrbo for partnering with Vacasa.

Smoke detector in house was hanging from its unit and the alarm screeched a number of times throughout the night; there were no air conditioning units in all the rooms downstairs even though I was told they were throughout the house; WORST PART; by early evening, small flying bugs started showing up throughout the house, and by nightfall there were swarms of these bugs-hundreds of them-flying around, IN THE HOUSE, crawling all over the walls and in the beds everywhere! We did not sleep that night, and trying to talk to customer service over phone was nearly impossible. We left the very next morning, even though this was supposed to be a two week stay.

This house is a wonderful place to relax. It sits on quite a large parcel of land away from other houses in a very quiet development. The house is decorated by its British owners, with care and touches of gentle humor. It has everything one or more families might need, inside and outside (which includes a back porch). The house is also pristinely clean.

Perfect Antidote !
This house in a secluded location on 5 acres of land, is the perfect antidote for the stresses of the last year and half. Vacasa property management ensured that everything was in order. Recommend it to anyone who wants to spend some quality time with family.

Best one yet!
My family of 10, 8 adults and 2 children stayed for 5 nights. It was by far the best house rental we have stayed in. If you are looking for seclusion and privacy, this is the perfect home for just that. There are no visible neighbors from the house or yard. The house is very large and perfect for accommodating the whole family. It was super clean and well stocked with anything you might need, except a muffin pan! Lol There were plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, trash bags, hand soap, dish soap and so much more. None of us had any problems with the wifi, we were all able to connect. We vacation every year and we will most certainly be returning to this home for many years to come.

Private setting
Home is nestled in the trees in a subdivision outside of Franconia. Lots are generously sized and private, as there are no neighbors in site of the home. There are bears active at night on the lot. Accommodations are simple (not luxurious). Kitchen is well equipped although we elected not to cook. It would have been nice to have extra supplies on hand. We had to purchase our own laundry detergent, as there was none on the premises. Otherwise, nice area. There are many dining options in nearby Littleton.

Great location! Nice and isolated; Don't drive down the dirt construction road
A really nice home. The beds are quite comfortable and the house is quite secluded. All of us were lead down a dirt road by google maps incorrectly. Pay attention to the house numbers to navigate to the house the first time.

New England trip
We began our 10 day NE trip with a 3 night stay here and the house did not disappoint. Property is close to town but far enough away to enjoy privacy and seclusion. Property was just as advertised and served as a great jump off point for hiking the White Mountains.

Loved the home!
We enjoyed our visit. The house was in a wooded area, but still close to town. All the amenities you need were there. Wifi worked great (which my teenagers really liked). The house was very clean. We also enjoyed the area very much. Lots of nice places to hike, swim, kayak. And Littleton is a great place for dinner. Would highly recommend this house and we would love to come back.

Great Place for Six Adults
Great house! There was nothing we needed that we didn't have in the well-appointed kitchen. Dining room was large and bright. Huge table worked well for six and could easily have seated ten.
Note that there was only a small hotel size bar of soap at the sink in each bathroom, none in the bath tub/shower, so bring your own bath soap
The TV cable system took some experimentation, but we were finally able to sign on to my Amazon Prime account and watch movies several nights.
It was cool, and I wanted to open the window to enjoy the cool dry air at night, but there was no screen on that window. Not to be misleading, there was a window unit AC in the room, but i just wanted to enjoy the outside sounds and cool air.
Bathrooms were bright, well-lighted with plenty of storage. We all agreed it was the best place we have stayed in the 18 years the six of us have traveled together. We loved Far Far Away Franconia!

Wonderful Comfortable Just What We Ordered
We were six adults, two couples and two singles. The four bedrooms and three full baths worked beautifully. The LARGE dining room table and chairs were great, TV room was good, and beds were comfortable. Plenty of kitchen equipment, clean and spacious. We had a great week leaf-peeping and eating at Dutch Treat and Plain Kates. Mac's Grocery is all you need, and the night manager Sandy is a treasure.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in Franconia this year after an event we worked in Bath, NH. We brought our 6-year old and 8-month old daughters with us. The house was very large and comfortable for us. We used two of the bedrooms, each with a queen bed and single bed on the second floor. We each enjoyed a relaxing soak in the jetted bath tub in the master bedroom. The water was nice and hot! My wife loves to cook, so we were prepared with some meals and snacks to enjoy at the house and in the evening before dinner we relaxed with snacks and drinks on the back deck. For dinner we drove 5 minutes into Franconia center and went to Joe's Catering for BBQ. For breakfast the last morning we went to Polly's Pancakes. There was a 2 hour wait, so we wished we woke up earlier, but it was worth the wait. We left and went back. The house was excellent and Cort was wonderful to work with and very accommodating.

The place was spotless and large enough to accommodate 2 families and kids had plenty of space to run around in. One of the rooms was filled with toys, much to the delight of the kids! Plenty of space to spread out and nice slecuded spot nestled in the mountains. Came back feeling refreshed. Great location for fall color foliage.

This rental was perfect. When looking for a property our top concern was finding a rental that would allow our two well trained German Shepherds to be with us. We were also looking for a few extra bedrooms as we had guests coming from Finland and NC & Virginia. The space worked out perfect. The house was clean and played out perfect for our needs. The location was also perfect tucked into a spot surrounded by trees, we were able to take our Shepherds out to play supervised. The house was also at a central location for all our needs. Thank you and can't wait to visit next year!
