Good location for beach. Clean apartment. Very small and very hot attic room.

It was clean

It’s was an attic room that was extremely hot. This was made worse as we had very high temperatures, however my friend’s room down stairs was far more comfortable. The bed was very small and my husband struggled as his feet hung over the edge of bed. Also the bed seemed small for 2 adults. With a camp bed in the same small room which added to the heat problem. No freezer which was very inconvenient as we wanted ice packs to take in cool bag to the beach. We left a day early as had very little sleep during our stay. I was not aware that the room I had booked was on 3rd floor and wouldn’t have booked this if I had known.

An excellent stay.

Excellent property with a high standard of decor and facilities; very friendly welcome. Very dog friendly. located in a quiet neibourhood close to the beach. On site parking available.

It would benefit from a new carpet where it was sodden , the smell wasn’t good, which put a negativ.

It was an apartment so provided your own food.

Unfortunately one of the radiators in one of the bedrooms had been leaking for quite some time (according to the plumber that came out) and the carpet was absolutely saturated, hence an awful smell in that room which made it unpleasant to sleep in.

Great Location, clean apartments!

Good location, Alum Chine is a great sandy beach and is walking distance. All other areas of interest are a short drive away which is great. Day trips to durdle door, Moor Valley country park easily done in half a day if needed. Great communication from the owners. Smart TV helped keep the little one entertained! Enjoyed our stay and would book again!

If you have difficulties with stairs ensure you ask for a room on the ground floor. Being on the top floor was ok for us but something to keep in mind. Also even though their are spaces for 5 cars, it's not possible to fit 5 in the spaces, so be prepared to look for street parking if you are the last one to park (plenty available).

poorly equipped kitchen, TVs not connecting to Internet, only one small table, difficult to hang up wet beach towels, carpet in dining area, relatively dark living room during the day which can only be lit with very bright ceiling light at night

The property is in an excellent location and in very good condition, with clean and comfortable rooms. It’s facilities are modern and everything worked well, features that I liked about the property is that the bathroom had great water pressure so you can have a lovely shower after a day at the beach. There was also plugs next to the bed to charge your phone, and a large electric fan is provided in the rooms which was great as I visited in summer. We were greeted by the member of staff called Leticia on arrival who was helpful throughout our stay and answered any questions we had, she also left some cold complimentary drinks in the fridge for us which was a nice touch. Location wise the property is excellent as alum chine beach is a 5 minute walk down the chine which the property is next to. There are cafes, restaurants and public toilets all within a 10-15 minute walk along the beach. Bournemouth town and pier is also about a 15-20 min walk along the beach so there is access to everything. You could also walk up to sandbanks Poole if you wanted to from this location.

So clean we were delighted. Beautiful property within easy walk to the beach.

Only small issue was the fold up bed was uncomfortable but this is such a small thing considering this property far exceeded our expectations. It was so clean I was delighted, the decor was beautiful and the two bottleS of beer left in the fridge along side milk were a very welcomed touch. I absolutely recommend this beautiful accomodation.

If you want a relaxing break by the sea, look no further.

Absolutely loved accommodation, extremely large and meticulously cleaned. Short walk to our nearby beach with friendly restaurant/bar overlooking sea. Many secluded beaches/chines nearby. Very quiet and peaceful area. Will definitely book again.

We are very fussy and have no bad comments at all.

Pleasant, clean, well equipped studio apartment.

Alum Chine is a lovely quiet part of Bournemouth and the guest house was 5 mins walk to the beach. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The shower was great and the guest towels are nice and big. The property has wi-fi and two smart tv's. We were also allowed to let the dog stay with a £20 excess.

As we were in the loft conversion the roof eaves on one side of the bed would be awkward if you were tall but luckily we are not. The stairs when you are arriving and leaving with luggage etc.

Great location, not far from beach or town. It was a clear apartment with a good range of equipment. Some free drinks and also milk were made available.

They could have provided a cloth for cleaning surfaces etc. There was only a tea towel made available. More light over the cooker would have been helpful. There was none.
