The location and the interior.
The room we were assigned had a whole other set of very narrow stairs to walk to the bathroom which was ridiculous and not mentioned anywhere. The elevator in the building was not working, so if you are coming with kids or a lot of luggage bear in mind you will have a lot of stairs to take! The bathroom was not very clean unfortunately, there was scale everywhere, which for me was awful. We were approved early check-in for the day of arrival and when we got there the host told us through whatsapp that this will not be possible and we have to wait until noon. When I asked how is this possible if we have confirmation that we can check-in at 09:00, he replied that it was just an automatic answer, which I find ridiculuous. There wasn’t much interest from the host of our stay, the communication with the guests can definitely be better.
Altogether, the only good thing about the place is its location and the interior design.

Location, clean, balcony
Bathroom and toilet was like the part of room, but upstairs, and there were no air conditioner
7.0 / 10.0
the location is great, the traditional building is charming, well designed spaces create a nice mood, the balcony added a lot to the overall experience
mattress was uncomfortable, the ventilation in the bathroom was pretty loud, creaking doors, the lock on the door didn't feel quite safe so we didn't leave valuables in the room, the extra bed in the room ruined the design a bit

Centrality perfect
The stairs needed lift access which made it difficult for the cases. As with many of these places breakfast is basic.

Position is the best. Comfortable bed.
Couldn't turn off bathroom strip light at night.

It was situated away from the main area and had some nice cafes, restaurants nearby. Plus a great market.

a very clean and equiped property with a lovely bar just opposite for breakfast
I would have liked to have a lift service

tastefully designed and very clean

The location is very central you can visit the city complete pretty much by foot. The rooms are cosy and nicely designed. Also there is a little bar with snacks and drinks available. You'll have everything you need.

The location is great. Even though it is at a busy street, we do not hear the noise from the street.
The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable.
Communication with the host was easy, and instructions were very clear. Highly recommended!
While you do not hear the noise from the street, we did hear the garbage collector in the morning. Nothing too bothering for us though.

the location was excellent for sightseeing but less optimal for beach holiday

Wonderful place, lovely interior and close to the park and nice restaurants. The self-service-checkin is comfortable if you arrive late.
No personal interactions, even though we asked for it. The communication felt a bit automated via WhatsApp. And the lift was broken.

location nearby the center
The room had a horrible smell, similar to fish. We informed the person that was taking care of the cleaning before leaving.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and functional. The views were spectacular and it was easy to get basically anywhere. There was a cute cat at the location too!
The bathroom fan was quite noisy

Lovely apartment with communal area and kitchen , fully stocked with an honesty payment scheme.
Location was excellent, a stones throw from the best little restaurants and a small park 2 minutes walk away.
Very clean building and clear instructions on how to check in .
We loved it ..10/10 .
Would definitely go back .

Good location, clean, spacious room, comfy bed
Misleading communication: early check-in was requested by us and confirmed by the apartament just to find the accommodation closed and being told that it was too early not just to occupy the room, but to enter the lobby too. The staff was arrogant and I would not have booked this place if they did not confirmed the early check-in possibility. On their site check-is is marked as 00:00-00:00. In february the room was really cold, AC couldn't warm it up at all.

The location is perfect, just a minute away from Santa filomena, that's filled with bars and restaurants. The Catania market is also just minutes away, and the bus from the airport stops within a short walking distance.
The room is spacious, quiet and comfortable.
The shower is a little small, and the drain is slow.

Beautiful room in a great location! Our room was also very quiet, which was really nice.
The Wifi is basically not working

Loved the room with its four-poster bed and high ceilings. Spacious room with private ensuite. Cute little balcony.
Great location and so close to the Alibus airport bus. I would recommend this as a means of getting to and from the airport for only 4EUR each way.
The locker system worked great so I could store my bag after checkout and come back with my own set of keys and let myself in to reclaim my bag. Genius idea which gives guests freedom without having to work out exactly what time to come back to meet someone to collect baggage.
The location is just a short walk to the main street that takes you straight to the central piazza. Lots of food options close by too.
I would highly recommend staying here.
Only issue is the drainage of water from the sink and the shower, as it doesn't empty in a timely manner.

Wonderful place . 2 beautiful rooms in Italian style, 2 large beds, bathroom, large mirrors, 2 balconies, well-stocked kitchen. cleaned every day, wifi. close to everything because the hotel is in the center. Breakfast opposite in a great bakery. everything fresh and very tasty. just around the corner you can go to the market every day where there are fantastic fruits, vegetables, fish, seafood, clothes. great bus connection to the airport (stop just around the corner, 4 € /90min), it took us 25 minutes to get to the airport. The owner sent us all the information we needed (points of interest, access to/from the airport, restaurants, etc. everything we needed). a few steps and you are in a super narrow street with restaurants where you can eat deliciously. mega pasta, calzone, pizza, brudchetta etc. I highly recommend this hotel, everything met our expectations.

The location is right in the heart of the city, close to the main attractions and bus stations. The room was nice, well equipped and clean, but we mostly enjoyed the restaurant recommendations they provided and where we had a 10% discount. If you stay there, make sure you go to those restaurants.

Big room, comfortable bed, good insulation- kept the street noise outside. We had really good sleep
Central, quick access to bus to airport, small walk to central station-15 min max.
Funcky/vintage decorations. Feels like a family house.
They have lockers for luggage and also, they did early check in for us, as the room was ready - much appreciated as the rain was terrible.
Basic cooking facilities. They have coffee, drinks for small price in the comunal area
If back in Catania we would choose again.
Shower small and needs a deep cleaning- as the bottom of the doors get that yellowish colour.
A small moka would have been nice ij the room, but in same time, we had the lavazza in the comunal area.

Delicious breakfasts in the place where you can choose what to eat: croissants or pizza or calzone.
Very good localisation of an apartment, so that there is close to every place you want to go
We had troubles with check-in, we didn't know how to get inside the building. Message on booking of how to get the keys should be sent the day before our arrival.

the location was quite central and can reach a lot of places. Daily cleaning. Quiet and can get a good sleep. Hot shower worked well. Casual vibe.
The wifi was not good, couldn't even load email. Didn't see any breakfast for a BnB but there are plenty of places to eat downstairs. Staff was through Whatsapp only, but they do answer your questions pretty quickly despite never seeing anyone in person.

Great location opposite a wonderful cake shop! Quirky design features and communal kitchen with hot water kettle.
Our room had a bathroom up some narrow and fairly steep and slippery marble stairs. Not good for people with mobility issues and no warning was given.

Very comfortable apartment, beautiful interiors. Helpful owner, will help you arrange for trips and recommend places to go to. There is a fridge stocked with water and aperol spitz bottles, and tea / coffee available. Two adorable cats can be spotted walking around in the morning :) Great location, next to a park. A cafe right in front of the building. Highly recommend :)
