The host is super nice and we discussed about food and restaurant online, then he recommended sushi place in Shizuoka which was a very good hidden gem.

We got the room with garden view.
The service of the staff was very welcoming
There were welcome snacks ready for us in the room, drinks and tea all ready.
We miss booking the dinner, the staff was very helpful in trying to get us reservations
But we chose to go to the near by Lawson to grab dinner so we can hang out in the room a little longer
Onsen was an beautiful experience
Traditional breakfast was great
Overall love the experience and time we were there

A cozy Ryokan with around 8 rooms, each featuring a private outdoor hot spring and a communal one for families. There's a Family Mart just two blocks away. While soaking in the onsen on the patio, a cat came by seeking some pets – pretty amusing! The tranquility is fantastic. The Indonesian staff, fluent in English, made our stay incredibly seamless. They also provide complimentary beverages, including a couple of beers in the fridge.
It's located by the ocean but has a somewhat industrial feel. While it's clean and comfy, a bit of refurbishing could enhance the experience. Dinner and breakfast were included, but I complained about the beef course being too large – it overshadowed the other courses, making it hard to finish. Also, both meals lacked that standout, sparkling dish.

Good value for money. We had two room's. Private open-air garden view onsen in the private garden is perfect for onsen lovers - authentic Japanese experience. I believe we had the best sea-view room - captivating views! Super spacious.
Impeccable service and amenlities. Pick-up to and from the JR station. Well run by quality management. Am looking forward to coming back again!

The best part of the stay was the friendly staff! And that’s saying something because the room and ambience was beyond our expectations!

The room with a gorgious view of a garden. Really private with a putside bath. The beds we comfortable and the tatami sittingroom was a great place to wind down.
Dinner and breakfast were really good, it was something i dont experience often at all. Lota of local dishes carfully chosen to form a pleasant dining experience.
We are not used to being served our every needs, so we found the staff extremeley accomdating and pleasant in contact.
We will surely visit again for al longer stay.

Amazing ryokan with so many free treats and snacks and great service! We had a room with a private bath, but the ryokan's main baths were also available for private reservation and soooooo nice. The staff were also able to provide a ride to the JR Yaizu station, but the walk is not bad and pretty scenic too!

We stayed a night here en route from Osaka to Tokyo. A straightforward train journey and staff from the ryokan collected us in their shuttle although it’s only a ten minute walk but great with all our luggage.
The staff member from Bali spoke good English and helped us throughout the stay but all staff were so friendly and welcoming.
Our room had an amazing view of the harbour through a huge window. We had western style beds as well as futon and we enjoyed both. The in room onsen was luxurious with an option to book a private slot in the larger communal one.
Dinner was a feast for the eyes and stomach! Multiple courses of beautifully prepared dishes all explained and our vegetarian was catered for as well. We enjoyed the sake recommendation and there were many other drinks on offer.
Our room had free tea, cold alcoholic drinks, sakura mochi and rice crackers and after dinner we had a midnight snack delivered as well!
Breakfast was just as impressive!
The owner gave us a lift back to the station!
All in all it was a wonderful place to stay!
it was all great!

Migiwaya is a beautiful secluded property with only 5 villas, this made the staff’s service impeccable. They were extremely friendly and helpful and made the trip even more enjoyable. The room we stayed in was beautiful and quite big, with its own private onsen bath outside which was big enough for two. We really enjoyed being able to book out the bigger private baths, which rotated everyday. We chose to have dinner and breakfast at Migiwaya and I cannot recommend it enough! It was traditional style Japanese courses, catered more towards seafood (as it is a coastal town). The food was delicious and we throughly enjoyed every bite. I would highly recommend Migiwaya if you are look for a relaxing getaway from the hustle of the bigger cities.
Absolutely nothing!

I stayed here for one night with full-board meal plan. They offered both dinner and breakfast in Japanese style. There were variety of dishes served for each meal from refreshment to dessert. Each dish had nice presentation and tasted delicious.
My room has its own private outdoor hot spring, I could enjoy my own hot spring anytime with the best privacy.
The snacks and drinks in minibar are free of charge and they also provided green tea and utensils in the room for tea ceremony.
Staff are very professional, responsive, friendly and helpful. They could provide very personal services like helping me to park the car to their car park and deliver my luggage to other hotel by Ta-Q-Bin (delivery charge applies).
Nothing but check out time is a bit early.

excellent hospitality, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great views of Mt Fuji in the am. traditional Japanese breakfast

The dinner and breakfast are very good and delicious. Although I'm not a fan of Japanese style breakfast, it is too early for me to have rice during breakfast, but it is really good.

The service was beyond excellent. The room is a typical ryokan, but with extra thoughtful touches. We had the room with an outdoor bath and garden view which looks beautiful during the night. The food was spectacular and we really enjoyed our stay.
We were a bit worried about the outside view of the premise. But don’t worry, it’s beautiful inside.

The staff were extra kind and extremely helpful!
