Quiet rooms, if you switch off the noisy small fridge. We also liked the cleaning lady who eventually came to our rescue at 1:20 am in the night of check-in (more on this later). The breakfast is basic but reasonable, although the orange juice is not natural.
It is sometimes risky to judge by one single experience, but I am afraid this is not the case. In a nutshell, the management's organization does not seem to work if you have a special need and the manager does not seem to care much about keeping the business in good shape. Because we were arriving to Portugal in a late flight, I explained twice through Booking messages that we would be arriving past 11:30 pm. Never got instructions and once there, we had to phone so that the manager explained to us how we should get into our two rooms. To our surprise, one of the two rooms was not ready and as there is nobody in the place after hours, we had to wait until a cleaning lady came at 1:30 am (!) to make the beddsso that we could sleep. On top of that, the manager was not friendly and would not come to help us in the emergency he alone was responsible of, he never apologized or tried to check how we felt the day after. Yet there are signs that mismanagement extends beyond special needs and public relations: the toilet in one of the rooms was dirty (we used the one in the other room), and one of the rain showers was broken and did not work effectively (pictures attached).

Nice surprise. Great place. That it had a clean pool was a bonus. Didn't expect air conditioning. Fluffy towels were a hit. Decor very smart. Bathroom great.
The bar attached was good. Food was alright. Not fine dining but cheap n cheerful. Lovely evening.
Wondered what we had booked when we turned up n looked at a narrow street with just a bar was first impression.
Bed a bit soft but fine. Parking was a challenge but ok. No one spoke English, why should they, but they were very helpful.

The location was ok. Very quiet and calm village. Bed was comfortable and room had a lot of space.
The lady managing the facilities was slightly annoying. We complained that majority of the days we stayed there was not hot water and she didn’t made anything to solve it.
Breakfast was not included and the value was 5 euros per person / day. The quality of food was very poor.
The pool wasn’t clean for a long time. The water was green and I’m pretty sure the filters where always off. It’s a shame, since the pool was a really good size.

Location is close to Evora and Arraiolos-2 places we want to see. Quiet, close to a couple of vineyards. Good breakfast.
The village is cute but doesn’t have much dining options. The roads do not have street lamps so you need to be comfortable driving on country roads. There was some problems with check in because there was no full time reception. I actually arrived later than I indicated and when we got there, another couple told us they had been waiting for an hour and called but no answer. Once we got it, it was good. The owner came by later and offered complimentary wine to us. A nice touch.
