The house had everything we needed. Plenty of room for us to all spread out. Lovely neighborhood and easy access to stores, restaurants and beaches. We all had a wonderful time!

Overall, the property is very nice. The only complaint we have is the furniture. The living room sofas are the absolute worst and the outdoor deck furniture is not as pictured, but rather just big wood chairs. Cushions for outdoors were provided so no biggie there. It’s an older home, but maintained nicely. Kitchen is great. Perhaps a deep clean would be in order, just because of age. We really did enjoy our stay and would definitely book again!

The house was perfect for our mature family. We had space when needed but was also able to enjoy the open kitchen together for meals together. Would definitely come back. The neighborhood was gorgeous.

We had a great stay location was fabulous as we could enjoy the pond views from deck, salt water lake right up the road and beautiful beaches within 10-20 min of the house. We visited Newport and did a fishing charter lots of activities in the area for all ages in our group. We’d love to come back again it was a very relaxing environment, the house had good space and location is great.

Nice neighborhood, friendly area. Beds as described kitchen nice and all dishes and utensils we needed were available. My only complaint would be living room furniture

Lots of room. Close to everything there is to do in the area.

The home is located in a very quiet neighborhood, and is walking distance to a small playground and a private sandy beach on the river (no lifeguard but roped off designated swim area). The beaches were a short drive away, ranging 10-20 min, and the beach chairs and umbrella that were provided helped immensely to lighten the things we brought.
The deck and large kitchen provide ample space to eat/drink/entertain. It is where we spent most of our time. The bedrooms were a perfect size, and the basement area provided a quiet place from the main area. There are a/c units in each bedroom and the dining room.
We enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend this home. We didn’t need to reach out to the property manager, so I can’t comment on ease of communication.

The view of the lake from every room was a delightful way to awaken each day. The sounds of the frogs echoed in our dreams each night.
The house, just north of Bonnet Shores is located near a bagel shop, severa pharmacies convenience stores and a liquor store, with easy access to many beaches on 1A to the south and the charming village of Wickford to the north. It is well appointed with a modern kitchen and upstairs bathroom. Beds were all very comfortable. Ongoing upgrades are underway. The basement bedroom and shower are fine for teens. There is a nice yard in front for the kids to play games in the evening. There is a large quiet neighborhood to get in some walking.
Our hosts were very attentive and helpful. Enjoy your stay!!

We really enjoyed the week ! Very quiet and peacefull. The only negative point is the carpet in the basement should be changed or removed. Thank you !

Our three adult children, their spouses, and two grandchildren (5,2) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was ample, the neighborhood was very quiet and the location was perfect. The small beach, a five minute walk away, was wonderful with the two young children, as well as the even closer small playground. The RI state beaches are a short car ride away. The comfortable home facilitated our family time together as we would highly recommended to anyone, especially families with children.

The house was a great little escape for my family and I. The AC’s were nice to have in each room and the deck was a great place to sit outside. Close to the beaches, Newport and restaurants. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the bed and pillows downstairs and on the main floor by the kitchen. Other than that, it was a great beach rental! Thank you!

We stayed to celebrate Moms 85th birthday. RI is the only state she has never visited. We flew in from 4 different states. House was close enough from Newport and Providence for day trips but allowed us to spend time together playing board games at the house. Lots of restaurants nearby but kitchen was excellent for cooking. The windows on the backside of the house do not have curtains. So it was difficult to sleep past sunrise in the upstairs bedrooms and a little unnerving in the bathrooms. Unfortunately, you can’t reached the pond in the back of the house. Also side deck isn’t as big as it looks in the pictures.
We would stay here again if we ever got back to RI.

We thoroughly enjoyed this home. The kitchen was well stocked and very easy to use. We appreciated the portable ice maker. The living room was welcoming although the couches were not all that comfortable. Comfortable beds and well appointed bathrooms. We loved spending time on the deck and listening to the melodic frogs. It was a great location and the beaches were varied and easy to get to. We hope to return to Narragansett in 2024 and we will certainly keep your home in mind. Thanks.

Liked the location and the house. Nice appliances. Great to be able to go to lake and use the Kayaks. Cleaning could been a little more thorough. There were cobwebs in corners and bedroom upstairs to the left had a lot of bugs on ceiling and walls when we got there. I believe it was from the airconditioner gaps which looked liked management company tried to do quick fix with tape. Matresses need to be replaced. They were not very comfortable.
Owners were great in responding to my question about instructions for entering property. Management company did well with instructions throughout.
Thank you!

Perfect
The property was extremely well appointed and the location was excellent. The one thing I would put in your ad is that the bedroom on the main floor is easily accessible for physically handicapped people, however, the bed is very high and difficult to get into. Other than that it was a perfect vacation and my family would most definitely vacation here again.

Missing It Already
We had a wonderful time at the house! The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen and deck were our favorite places to be with the beautiful views of the pond. The house has everything you need aside from the mentioned linens and towels. The neighborhood itself is lovely. We had so many great conversations with locals and vacationers who were friendly and helpful. We loved the restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The beachfront down the street was perfect for our toddler. He absolutely loved it. The owners were very responsive when we reached out about an AC issue and fixed the problem. A few small notes we have: (but did not detract from our fun or love of the house!) More towel hooks in the bathrooms would be useful, and the provided beach chairs had a bit of rust on the sides so we did not end up using. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

family reunion
A nice clean house on a pond. There were a few broken items (nothing mission critical) when we arrived, but the property manager came out and fixed most. These items were not a distraction from our having a good time, but I had just reported them so they would know they did not result from my group.

All the comforts of home and then some.
Lovely and quiet neighborhood setting made this property a relaxing home base for our visit to Rhode Island. The many oceanside and inner state attractions we enjoyed were all just a short ride away. The owners were very responsive to our many inquiries and communications leading up to, and during our stay. The home is very clean, seemed like newly renovated, and is well appointed with everything we would have needed.

Nice house in a Great location
Mom and I stayed for 3 weeks and loved it.
The pond in the backyard was pretty to look at. Kitchen and bathroom are very nicely remodeled. Upstairs bedrooms are huge and included a desk for working remote. Love the proximity to the little lake beach and the use of kayaks is awesome! Deb & Chris are very nice. Hope to be back next year!!

Well-stocked house in great location
Our family of four really enjoyed our Rhode Island vacation and this rental house was a great home base during the week. The house had everything we needed and more. We loved the well-appointed kitchen and enjoyed lots of relaxing family time on the deck. Having two kayaks was terrific and our kids loved paddling on the river. Our beach trips were made even better thanks to all the beach equipment at the house. We took a great day trip to Providence to enjoy a glass blowing class and a relaxing gondola ride through the canals of Providence. We appreciated the cleanliness of the house and the great location. The owners provided detailed info and getting into the house was easy and convenient. A great experience overall!

1 week was not enough
We loved our stay here and wish we had more time . The house was perfect for our family of 2 parents and 3 kids in their late teens and 20s. Bedrooms spacious and kitchen was great. We loved the outdoor grill the walk to the lake and the kayaks. Great neighborhood and perfect location. So happy here

Fun vacation with friends
We loved the proximity of this house to all the beaches. If you’re traveling with toddlers, don’t forget to bring (or rent) some baby gates. We especially loved the playground down the street.

Excellent rental experience
Spent a week with 5 adults and it was fantastic!! Very spacious, clean, well stocked house. Deck overlooking the pond was great and shaded-spent most of our day there. Had an issue with the microwave and they brought another right away. Quiet neighborhhood, great distance from Narragansett and Newport. Only issue is that my adult kids who slept in the basement had some allergy like symptoms after-maybe a dehumidifier would help. Would DEFINITELY rent here again and recommend to others!!

Incredible Family Getaway
Our family of 6 adults and 2 children (11 month old and 12 year old) had a wonderful stay in Narrangasett. Despite the rainy weather, we loved the charm of the house and perfect distance to Newport and the surrounding area. We wish we could’ve enjoyed the kayaks and outdoor space, but we look forward to returning and exploring once again.

Paradise in Narragansett!
Covid killed our Bali trip, so we decided to head to Narragansett to visit family and relax. Found this GEM on VRBO! From start to finish, SIMPLE, SIMPLE, SIMPLE to book, pay, and stay! EXACTLY as described in the listing. Would HIGHLY recommend to ALL. We had our kids, inlaws, and more. Close to everything you may need too. Thanks again for a GREAT WEEK!

Great location and beautiful view
This is a lovely property on a pond with water birds to watch from the spacious porch. Nearby narrow river beach with access to kayaks makes for a quick trip for swimming and boating. Narragansett beach for some surf is just a short drive away. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect for eating in and getting take-out this year due to the pandemic. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We have enjoyed this rental for our family of 4 for 2 summers in a row and hope to rent again in the future.

Great getaway stay
We stayed at Deb’s house for a month, and it was so lovely. We loved the renovated kitchen which is well equipped. All the rooms are spacious. Two of them have desks if you need some private space to work. The view of the pond is so serene, and we could never get tired of it.
It’s in a very quiet neighborhood with a local beach on the Narrow River within walking distance. The beach is small. Deb provided two kayaks for us to use. It was one of my favorite kayaking experiences. All beaches are within 15-20 min driving distance, one of my favoriate things about Narragansett / RI.
Overal, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place!

Just perfect!
The deck is right on a quiet road and scenic pond. Easy walk to a beautiful sandy pond beach with 2 kayaks available! The upstairs bed frames were a bit old and damaged upon arrival but the hosts were great. New kitchen and upstairs bathroom were nice. Just perfect!

We spent a week in RI, my two kids loved the beach... I highly recommend the house and location

Great vacation
The house was exactly what we expected. There are plenty of beds as well as room to move. The photos are spot on. Great location. A short walk to the private beach on the Narrow River. We spent very little time in the house.
The deck was a beautiful place to enjoy everyone's company as well as to watch the birds and wildlife over the water right in the back yard. The binoculars where always available to catch whatever was moving out there. Short drives to the beaches and all RI has to offer. The owners were always available to answer any questions we had. Great place for a summer vacation. Thanks Chris and Deb

Great house for a family
This lovely home was perfect for our extended family. The deck was lovely to have coffee on in the morning. The kitchen was bright and cheery and accommated everyone comfortably. The upstairs bedrooms were spacious and cool. The downstairs room was perfect for kids. They had their own space. I would definitely recommend this house.

Great location
This house is in a very quiet neighborhood and yet close to everything. We enjoyed being able to jump on 1A and check out cute villages like Wickford and East Greenwich in a short drive, and still have the beach 10 minutes away as well. Really close to Jamestown and Newport. The house is well equipped. We did not get to enjoy the outdoor deck area as the bugs were actually abundant due to the crazy summer weather we are having, but it did not take away from our trip.

I was skeptical at first but was very impressed.
The house was very nice and cozy. The new kitchen renovation was done well and we spent most of the time socializing there. The bedrooms were big and accommodated a family of 4 and grandparents comfortably. It backed onto a pond which was nice to look at but there were a lot of bugs outside luckily so we didn't get to enjoy the nice deck. It was a short walk to a nice little beach on the river. The only complaints we had and are very minor would be that they didn't provide bed linens or towels. Luckily we had family in the area that were a le to provide us some otherwise it could be expensive and inconvenient to buy there. Other than that we had a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to go back.
