Loved location. House was nice. Picked it because all bedrooms had queen size or bigger beds plus twin or bunk in room as well. Close to beach access. My only negative was we had to keep chasing the A/C during above 90 degree weather. A/C sets back to 75 degrees every couple hours if you don’t reset it to desired temp every couple hours.

Our group consisted of six adult women. This house was perfect for us. Close to the beach, close to shopping and close to great restaurants and ice cream. What else could you ask for? The house was very clean. It was also very spacious. We had plenty of room to spread out all while being together. The common areas were large enough for us to hang out together. We loved the wrap around porches and hot tub. Our group would most definitely recommend this house and we will be booking it again in the future.

I'm sure Changing Tides is a lovely place to spend a week, but we weren't able to find out. I rented it for my daughter and her highschool friends to have a final relaxing fun time together knowing they were responsible young adults that wouldn't cause trouble or damage. Check-in was on Saturday evening and on Sunday morning they were told they were being evicted from the property and needed to be out within a couple hours. The homeowners had been watching the group on the undisclosed security camera "waiting for the leaseholder to arrive", yet when I stated I could be there in a few hours and stay in the house all week, they refused. When I questioned why the camera was not disclosed on the property page or lease agreement, I was told it was so “they could watch the mailbox”. This is not true because the camera faces the dry entry (a gathering space to spend time while staying there) and the street/mailbox is not in view of where the camera is facing. There was no compassion for my pleas or reasoning with the homeowners, so the group left as told. Nothing was disturbed in the house and they left it as they found it. I completely own that I broke the lease and am deeply regretful. It wasn't to be maliciously deceitful, it was done with love for those kids who unfortunately had to pay the price. Hard and costly lesson learned for all of us. But I do feel it needs to be known by anyone considering renting this house that there is a camera used by the homeowners at will.

The house was in the perfect location to the beach and town. It was raining almost all the weekend when we stayed but the large living room and hot tub still allowed us to spend time together and enjoy the OBX even if we were stuck inside! Enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone!

Stayed at the end of the season (mid-Sept.) Property was conveniently located near the beach and supermarket. Easy to check in and out and communicate with the rental company. Great weather. Everyone in our group of 8 worked remotely for all/part of our week-long stay and the house was spacious enough and Wifi strong enough to support all of us working.

Close to beach
We had a great trip. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The beach was a short walk away and we walked the quieter roads behind the house as well. Outer Banks Blue was extremely helpful and easy to deal with.

Amazing house!
This house made for a perfect girl’s weekend! It was spotless and clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The location was amazing—one lot back from the ocean and one block back from the main drag of restaurants and shopping. The communication with the hosts was excellent. Would definitely stay here again!

Family Vacation w/Adult Children
We had a wonderful time at during our stay in the Outer Banks. There was plenty of space for everyone and plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Spent a lot of time on the upper floor deck off dining/kitchen. Beach access is very close and easy to get to and from. We prefer to stay on beach side however this location was extremely nice and would definitely stay again.

Perfect
This house was exactly as described. Getting in was a breeze. We loved all of the deck space. The kitchen was very well organized. We used the very close beach access several time. The hot tub was an extra bonus.

Large but cozy cottage
We had a great stay. The cottage was clean and very spacious. Quick walk across the street to public beach access. I would certainly rent this cottage again.

The house was very clean and the pictures show exactly how the house looks.
The house was a 2 minute walk to the beach. It was a perfect location. The street is busy. I used to live in the city and the cars driving all day and night would not have bothered me. I'm not used the the noise anymore, so I had trouble sleeping. No one else in the family was bothered though.
We have 4 teenagers (3 girls) so the house had plenty of room for all of us. I would choose this place again for sure.

Great Property for families
Our family loved Pluggers Too. The location was great and the home layout was fantastic for groups. Every room has its own access to the balcony. It has everything you need to save money and cook at home. The negative is, it wasn’t very clean at all. We had to wash some of the bedding because it clearly had been slept in and was dirty. Dishes were left in the dishwasher. The upstairs bath wouldn’t drain well. The property management company should check the properties more often. Other than the cleanliness we loved it.
