Fantastische bedden en douche, mooie ligging. Én alle ingrediënten voor een lekkere gin-tonic die klaar stonden!
Helemaal niets

Bezahlung etwas langwierig. Ein Kühlschrank im Zelt fehlt.

Great location on the river. Initially I thought it would be too hot but the water cooled fan and an extra fan made it very comfortable at night. Great experience in a tent with all facilities. The staff was friendly and managed to get us booked for a day safari into Chobe National park. I would recommend this place.
A door for the bathroom would be nice.

Lovely small-scale accommodation. Nice bar area and river-terrace. The tents were spacious with comfortable beds. The food was lovely and the pool area was enjoyable with a view over the river. Especially enjoyed the animals on the opposite river bank that came down to drink.

The riverside lodges were amazing. The views were spectacular and it was peaceful and relaxing. A perfect place to relax and rewind. We would recommend the sunset cruise and the walking trip with Marshall.
The boma and the outside dining was a truly African experience.

Excellent location for nature and wildlife experience, great property, chalets, breakfast and dining area, nice pool. Easy to relax and enjoy the silence.

Our second time visiting and still a favourite. Especially to comfortable rooms and quietness. Staff very friendly. The sunset boat cruise is a MUST with Marshal doing a great job. He could answer ALL our questions and made the stay more memorable
The wifi is really bad and barely available at reception. So if you need to work or connect with family/friends, it might be frustrating. The buffet meal on the first night was excellent, but unfortunately being the only guests the second night, the meal was not good and not value for what we paid. For 365 Namibian dollar the meal did not live up to the previous evening.

As expected the views were great right at the river. I did not expect usb sockets at both sides of the bed along other ones . They came as a pleasant surprise. Even better was the sunset cruise at 424 N$ which was stunning and you constantly had to choose between the sunset on the one siede of the boat and countless animals on the other.
There was shade for the parking but it is a bit away from the huts.
The beds are comfortable and once you find the right temperature the shower is great as well.
The guys in the hut next to me kept charging things to my room and it took a while to sort that out and not having to pay for their stuff. Overall it took very long to pay and even longer to wait for the packed breakfast (40 Minutes) even though I asked for it upon arrival. It then had a sandwich in it that taked of parfume, a banana, a bottle of water, a can of orange juice, an energy bar and a babybel cheese. So try to clear your bill the night before (if there is anyone at reception then) and if you are in a hurry do not rely on being able to leave before 7 or 8.

Very helpful and friendly stuff like always from Gondwana Collection accommodations.
Absolute gem of a location for enjoying Caprivi Strip and Chobe NP (after crossing the border).
Activities can be easily booked even on short notice and offer good value. Boat cruise can definitely be recommended.
Some of the tents have a really good view on the Chobe River while others have quite a lot of vegetation blocking the view. So it is dependent which unit you will get to experience the best views. But there were no units with bad views.
Prices for dinner are higher than the average standard, that we were used to in Namibia.
Even when offered on their website, Gamedrives into Chobe NP could be seasonal and weren’t available during our stay.

This property is exceptional value, the rooms are large and clean with awesome views. They also include a A/C unit, as well as a fan, and power sockets. We were particularly fond of the pool as it too, had great views and was quite private. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, wanting to help where ever possible. Being so close to the river meant the wildlife was also close, especially the elephants at night. The full-day boat safari was very good value and beautiful; we saw an abundance of animals in and out of the water, and the lunch was very good. The area surrounding the camp is very clean, we were particularly impressed by how unpolluted the river was. The food was great and fresh with a couple of options per night. The laundry service was quick and efficient.
We had some planning to do for the next leg of the trip and the WiFi was rather slow during the day, although the evening seemed to be much quicker.

The setting is beautiful, and we loved the pool.
The staff were friendly but untrained and unsupervised. They didn't know how to make a mojito, saying they don't serve cocktails. Training needed! Boat trips not organized properly, we couldn't do a sunset cruise because boats had full day trips. No milk in the room for morning coffee. Cake served on Sunday afternoon, baked without sugar! No coffee or milk served with it, only watery tea. Suggestion for the bedroom: needs backrest behind bed, mosquito nets should reach the floor.

The view was amazing from the chalet.... Absolutely stunning. The place was clean and the staff were very welcoming. Buffet dinner was yummy and so was breakfast!
Beddings were a bit outdated and the room was a little musty, but once you open up the windows and switch on the fan... All was good.

the location and the staff were amazing. Bruno and his colleagues when above and beyond for us.

The location is simply beautiful, tranquil, lovely. The staff is very friendly & sweet. Our guide was very knowledgeable about birds & wildlife. The Mgr Bruno arranged for a magnificent remote barbeque or braii for our group on my husband"s 60th birthday & we will never forget it. Unbelievable location, sunset game drive & fabulous food & service. Thank you, Bruno!
We loved everything, but do get good directions from the property if you are self driving & make sure you have 4WD. It is very remote, but totally worth the drive!

Camp Game Drive vehicle was not allowed into Chobe National Park.

Very nice and relaxing camp site. Definitely a recommendation after a long day of driving if you want to cross to Botswana the next day.
The road to the campsite is quit bad and 4x4 is recommended

An excellent camp with polite and helpful staff, very good breakfast and dinner, a very good pool and parking in the premises. The best was the tent which was extremely nice with a view to the river. It was really fantastic. I wish I could stay there longer. An excellent place to relax. The internet connection was ok. During our game drive we saw a lot of birds and quite a few animals which was nice.

Spacious, clean tents, spaced nicely to give you privacy, with nice patios.Rooms had water cooling air conditioner. All tents on a channel. Lots of birds and two crocodiles opposite our tent. Lovely dinner in a boma. Very helpful staff, and nice communal seating area.

Friendly personel (dinner & breakfast).
Comfortable bed.
Riverfront chalet /tent was announced but not provided. If you book, make sure you‘ll get one of chalets 1-10. 11 and up are located at a dried out side arm of the main river (there you‘ll see mud and birds and hear lot‘s of frogs, but no interesting animals).
Interior of tent 14 appears to be fairly worn out and should be renovated.
No aircondition, only a water cooler system (almost no effect on inside temperature.
Reception personel appesrs to be a bit impatient with non native english speakers, specifically if being asked for a different room(tent).
The refrigerator of the bar was so loud that is wasn‘t possible to just sit, relax and enjoy the view and silence.
Would only recommrnd it for a stop over on the way to Botswana or back.
