Wunderbare Lage in Mitten der Rebberge
10.0 / 10.0
This chateau is in a beautiful location with gorgeous views surrounded by rolling hillsides covered in vines. The rooms are lovely, the restaurant and bar is first class but best of all are the staff who are incredibly friendly and cannot do enough to make your experience perfect. Special call outs for Louise who is wonderful and Fabienne at breakfast full of life and warmth.
Nothing, even the boiler breaking down for both nights could not detract from a fantastic stay. See you again next year.

the location is unbeatable! the view from my room was to die for
privacy can be a little bit of a concern. the spa baths are outside and when I say outside I literally mean in the walkway of everyone that passes by so while you are trying to relax you’ll have people walking by you to get to the hotel. same with the spa rest area. wayy too exposed. dinner was good and service was wonderful, but I’ve had better food in Reims

The chateau is exceptional and the staff are amazing and attentive. could not have asked for a better experience!

Beautiful location, interiors and friendly staff. The room was enormous and the bathroom was perfect. Lunch and dinner quality exceptional and of course the wine list is on point and then some. They also arranged private tasting at small producers for us with transfers, we highly recommend taking advantage of this.
A few hiccups with the concierge on dates/times of tastings but it was fixed.

This is a properly great hotel. We have tried hotels in the area many times on our travels, and for great customer service, amazing location and excellent food, this is the best.
It’s definitely quirky, but in the best possible (slightly Wes Anderson) way. Our bedroom and bathroom were giant and the bed was fabulously comfortable. Decor is knowingly loud and never takes itself too seriously.
it’s a fabulously bizarre building overlooking a quaint village with a stunning church just a few kms from the bustle of Reims.
it’s the opposite of ‘chain’ - with personal touches and real thought going into every element.
Staff could not be more helpful, knowledgable and quick. The restaurant was a genuinely rare and impressive operation - an ambitious and broad menu delivered with no stuffiness and real skill by the chefs.
Again, excellent execution with none of the hauter you can get in other places in France.
We were sorry not to try the spa, which looked lovely and full of expertise.
As a fabulous boutique hotel experience that is unusual, charming and smart, Chateau de Sacy is a rare and joyful experience. Bravo!
Tiny and really not important - broadband a bit hit and miss and the plugs/lighting could be updated a little.
Lighting was a little too stark in our bedroom and the passage where it could be softened a little. But all of this is small given the overall impressiveness of the hotel.

The hotel is a well appointed boutique hotel, surrounded by vines. There is a lovely outdoor terrace surrounded by vines where we had a very pleasant lunch.
Our room was a little on the small side

A stunning renovation of a historical place surrounded by vineyards. Beautiful decorations inside and thoughtful touches but including modern conveniences like air con!
Great bar and great food.
Best Bed of our 5 weeks away by far, mattress, pillows and quilt and shhets, gorgeous.
Television for english speaking was limited to bbc and cnn news, and whilst we did not book into watch tv, a late night movie or show would be nice, maybe add Netflix to the selections.
We had a wonderful.l huge suite with a bathroom with a gorgeous round tub, but it was hard to step into the tub and successfully shower without watering the whole bathroom. Perhaps turn thr robe space into a shower and just put a freestanding old style robe in the main room.

This is the most uniquely beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in! I never wanted to leave. If you have a chance to stay here, it will be an experience of a lifetime.

Loved all of it. A perfect chateau experience, great accommodation, food, staff, location. Local village is a short walk away from chateau and everyone we met was very welcoming and friendly.
Nothing comes to mind.

Very good hotel in an excellent location overlooking the vineyards. Large, comfortable room with lovely views. Very friendly helpful staff. Great views from the breakfast room and dining areas.
Although the food was good we felt the service on our second night was rather slow resulting in dinner taking 3 hours!

it’s a nice location and the reception staff were excellent.
the restaurant staff were mostly untrained and lacking in social skills.

The staff were helpful, courteous and friendly throughout our stay. They made our stay feel personal. The chateau hotel was splendid in side and its location picturesque. The food was first class
There were just a few small things where wear and tear hadn’t been sorted but this didn’t take away from our stay

We had been delayed for 9 hours at the Eurotunnel terminal so arrived very very late. At 3:30am they were exceptional with their welcome, champagne and food. We will be back hopefully in time for dinner next time.
