La posizione era stupenda direttamente sui campi di riso e pomodori
Nel bagno c’era acqua calda solo nella doccia e non nel lavandino

Tridzung, the boss that did communication was very, very helpful, respons fast on WhatsApp and speaks good English. He gave us many options to get to the ecolodge from Hanoi and also arranged the bus to get to Sapa. The room was big and had a beautiful view over the ricefields. The staff understands English and were polite.
The food was a bit expensive and not very tasty and was served half cold. So the total price was a bit too expensive for what it was. We paid 4mil VND for 2 people 2 nights + food + renting 2 motorbikes for one day. Taxi was 200k for 20min. The communication between the boss and the staff was not always correct. For example we asked for 2 motorbikes and the staff prepared 1. Also 1 motorbike was suppose to be 250K and the staff charged us 300k (without gas). Also we do not recommend the nightbus from Hanoi, it was not comfortable and it arrived at the ecolodge 4hours late. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the price/quality was not the best.

It's a stunning location, allbeit hard to reach. Very friendly host who provides lovely food (dinner is extra charge but breakfast on the house). My only issue was not having it sign-posted from the road, but the location on google maps is accurate if you can follow that (lack of signal but can use GPS). Steep entrance leading up so careful if you're riding a bike! Nobody but myself in the dorm room when I stayed. Other visitors to Vietnam get out there if you love peace and quiet spot in nature. Support this family in the process 👍
Difficult to find, steep entrance difficult for inexperienced bike riders

Very friendly staff, great location, a very comfortable bed, very hot water and good pressure, large bed, fantastic views from the room, and a very beautiful garden. Overall a great experience.
I think that the resort could be a little cleaner. The room was clean alright but there was quite a bit of rubbish in the grounds: empty cigarette packets, cigarette butts, and so on

The staff treat me very nice.
The dishes is not very delicious, the location is quite far from center.

I truly love the place. The host ( owner ) was super helpful and gentle . He took me to go to have dinner with natives nearby our place. We had Chicken, Fish eggs soup, Veggies, and Táo Mèo Wine. All the foods were amazing, and made by cultural recipe. I, the Host and his native connections shared a lot of stories about features of regions. It's fantastic for a solo traveller like me, to do so.
The host shared his awesomeness in exploring Northwest of Vietnam , and guiding you how to trip surrounding the areas nearby.
The place, accommodation - in March , was very peaceful, style, art, and cozy. I did cook fried rice for our breakfast, it's enjoyable to have dishes at the front area, where I could enjoy talks with the host and sightseeing directing to the landscape - Mountain, Farms, and Clouds.

The views were absolutely amazing! Nothing shy of pure bliss! Homely and inviting people in and around the lodge!

I love the vibe and their decoration in the dorm room. They have a nice observation deck to the rice field.
However, the shared bathrooms and toilets are unacceptably dirty and there wasn’t enough hot water in the cold weather. Oh and we also borrowed for a hair dryer but it was broken, cant use.

The location is incredible. The views from the rooms and upper terrace.
Great food.
Rustic bungalows.
Beds were comfortable.
Staff were helpful.
Bathroom is small and awkward.
Power wasn't working on arrival.
Other guests had mice in their bungalow roof.
Bug nets weren't installed properly.
Curtains didn't close properly.

Our stay in Mu Cang Chai Ecolodge was lovely. Vinh, Qua and the rest of the staff were very friendly and well disposed to any request we had.
They let us participate in their daily life and made us feel like home.
We stayed two nigths in two diferent rooms. The second night they recommended us to change the room because next to us was going to stay a family with children and they were worried about our relax. Both rooms were incredible!!! Nice, clean, comfortable and with great views.
The only thing we can complain about is the breakfast. Although the dinner was fine and copious, the breakfast was a little bit scarce. And the prices for the meals were considerable for us.
Also they offered us the option to take a tour. It costs us 20$ each, wich was a bit overpriced for what it was. We could have done it by ourselves just fine.

The setting at this eco-lodge was fantastic. The views just breath taking! Bed was good, breakfasts were great and the staff very accommodating! I hired a car arranged by the lodge, to bring me from Hanoi. About 7.5 hour drive that was very beautiful and went through tea plantations.
It would be nice if the staff/guides could speak a little English. They use their phone for translating but that is difficult.
