Hôtel sympa

L’emplacement est génial. Il y a pleins de singe à côté de l’hôtel. Le personnel est dévoué à ce que notre séjour se passe bien. Le matin nous avons eu un chaton qui est rentré dans la chambre !!

Nous avons pas eu la chambre comme sur les photos mais nous voyons quand même un petit peu la cascade qui est magnifique. Nous avions 1 prise sur 4 qui marchait c’était assez embêtant. Elle fonctionnait mais il y avait un mauvais contact. La wifi ne marchait pas

Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist unbezahlbar! Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und das ganze Zimmer sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Wir würden sofort wieder buchen.

We stayed here for two nights and would definitely stay here again. It was a 10 minute walk from the town up a large hil

The views from the hotel were stunning. The balcony and the rooms were beautiful and clean. A lovely breakfast included and the staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Good value and left feeling good

I had the best Sri Lankan food I have eaten for breakfast whilst taking in the brilliant few of Ella’s rock . They don’t do dinner there but it is only a short walk to main road of restaurants and bars

Hotel mit traumhafter Aussicht

Das Hotel ist in den Berg hinein gebaut und bietet eine unglaublich tolle Aussicht. Zudem spendet der Berg Schatten und die Zimmer sind auch ohne Klimaanlage angenehm kühl. Das Personal ist super hilfsbereit und organisierte für uns einen Roller sowie den Weitertransport. Beim Frühstück kann man zwischen Western und Sri lanka wählen. Wir aßen immer Western style und bekamen neben frischem Obst, Eier nach Wahl sowie gefüllte Pancakes und eine Kanne Kaffee oder Tee.

Das einzige Manko ist das Badezimmer, welches keine Abtrennung der Dusche hat, sodass beim Duschen der ganze Raum nass wird.

Superb

The view is incredible, and the family room (D2) is spacious and comfortable. We are a family of 4 (2 teenagers) and had plenty of space. Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Staff very friendly

Amazing view.

The view hands down! Very friendly staff. Delicious sambal Apa!

Have to walk up hill from Main Street which is steep and requires a torch at night. If you are frail this would be op difficult. Can walk to little Adams peak from accomodation if you go early and avoid crowd and heat. There’s plenty of drinks for sale all the way to the top.

Incredible views, incredible srilankan breakfast, can't wait to return!

The room view is spectacular. Truly awesome. Its one of the best views you'll get in ella. It's outstanding. The rooms are also very large. It's beautifully decorated with real wooden furnishings. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating, accommodated us when we had early morning trips by adjusting breakfast times. Despite any language barriers, they always had a smile and helped us! The view at breakfast is also stunning. The srilankan breakfast is delicious. The western one is simple so I would really recommend the srilankan one. Its so generous in portion and truly delicious. They were always happy to refill the curry bowls and keep the food coming! We were worried about the lack of ac initially but this really wasn't a problem. It's cooler than ella than in other areas of srilanka at night and plus they give you a fan. We will definitely stay here again and reccomend it to friends and family.

For improvement: I would suggest having a sheet of info in the room about breakfast times, options, room info, how to get a tuk tuk from staff, any other advice. Even though we can ask staff this, it would helpful to have all this info in the room written down. My advice is also that, it's unavoidable to get bugs in rooms but a few small tweaks can improve this. Some of the doors have big gaps between them, so it might be possible to seal the door better. Or even a good Knight plug for each room! Lastly, I think there's a chance the bed frame has a mild case of wood worm . You'd never notice this as a guest and it would not affect your experience. I'm just worried it would destroy the beautiful bed and other wood furnishings. We noticed small piles of dust under the bed and we've experienced wood worm before, so we know what the signs are! I hope this can help management fix the issue quick. Please don't let this put you off as a guest though.

The location is good to explore Ella. Nice balcony and little kitchenette for shared use with tea maker. Nice rooms, great views and excellent breakfast.

Location is in the city Center, Spacious Room and Toilet, Big balcony with Ella Rock View, Great Breakfast, Very welcoming owner and his stuffs.

Obviously if you want a great view from your room in Ella, you need to stay in the hill. If you have luggage, tuk tuks are always there to take you up at only 200/300 LKR. Walking through train line is flat and will take you to the city Center in 10 minutes.

Decent clean rooms with beautiful view. The highlight was the Sri Lankan style breakfast. Staff are also very attentive

The road up the hill is not fully finished so our driver was a bit nervous getting there but it's only 4min from main road. I do not recommend walking there with luggage

You won’t want to leave!

The views were INCREDIBLE, rooms super clean, comfy bed, gorgeous bathroom, and the breakfast was delicious. We were so sad to leave. We had the top floor, and I think the best room with a walkout balcony. You wake up to paradise every morning. Completely worth the price!

Nothing really! Except maybe the fact that it’s not right into town. that didn’t bother us at all. It’s only a 10-15min walk to the center OR you can take the shortcut through the railroad tracks and get to the backside of town in 5min. BUT be mindful of the the train times, could be sketchy.

The stay was ok, but I would not repeat again.

The staff and the location

There don’t clean the room every day and they don’t provide any basics such as shower gel, hand soap or shampoo. Beds are not comfortable and there is too much noise and light in the early morning.
