The Guest House is very well located and in a very convenient location if you have to visit the Giant’s Causeway. There is a free parking in front of the building, the room and in general the guest house was very clean and well maintained, very good shower and comfortable bed.
The owner is very nice and welcoming, he will provide you with all the information regarding the area, things to do and restaurants where to eat in Ballycastle. At your arrival you will be provided with the breakfast menu and you can choose what you would like to eat the next morning, as they prepare everything fresh.
Breakfast products can be improved.

I had the most delightful experience during my stay at the Caislean Guest House in Ballycastle. This charming accommodation is truly unique and exudes a warm, cozy ambiance that made my stay exceptionally enjoyable. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings added a special touch to the overall atmosphere.
One of the highlights of my visit was the delicious breakfast provided by the Guest House. The quality and variety of the offerings exceeded my expectations, making for a delightful start to each day. The care and effort put into the breakfast service were evident, and I appreciated the culinary delights served.
Overall, my time at the Caislean Guest House was a memorable and enjoyable one. The combination of its distinctive charm, cozy environment, and delectable breakfast made it a standout choice for anyone seeking a wonderful stay in Ballycastle. I highly recommend this guest house to fellow travelers looking for a unique and welcoming accommodation experience.

Alles was boven verwachting.

quiet neighbourhood, short walk to restaurants.
I love the old buildings and how the host has made effort to keep the original craftsmanship of the buildings.
We also felt safe and secure with the buildings security measures.

We received a lot of help from the host, before and after our arrival, in planning our visit to the Giant's Causeway - essentially we got the bus there (bus stop 100 yards from the B&B) and walked back along the coast (about 4-5 hours). So a great base to visit the Causeway Coast. B&B itself very comfortable. Excellent breakfast (especially the porridge!) and there's a separate kitchen for guest use with tea, coffee, fridge etc. Easy walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants. Free parking in front of building as well as in the street. Highly recommended.
Rain on one day!

The room was decorated very nicely and breakfast was tasty. The location is great, it's very easy to find by road and only a few minutes walk from pubs and restaurants in the middle of town.
It was quite cold in the room even with an extra blanket, although to be fair it was also very cold outside during our stay.

Close to all shops , comfortable room and good breakfast. Host very attentive
Dull light in the bedroom. Had trouble putting on make up . Would be nice to have extra light by the mirror in the room.

Breakfast was excellent. The cook/chef extremely friendly and chatty. The owner Claire was helpful and communicative. I suppose for the purposes of filling this little box I'd have to say my only negative was the length of the bed BUT I am 6feet 4 inches tall. This problem arises everywhere I stay...I will absolutely return to An Caislean though!
See above....but it's my problem.

I was a bit worried about the location being on a main road but the double glazing was very effective and I slept very well. Barclay the host was extremely helpful and attended efficiently to all our needs. As there were 4 of us travelling I had booked two double rooms in next door guest houses (An Caislean and Corratavey) and was delighted to find that the two properties were interconnected and so we were all able to have breakfast together. The rooms were not huge but there were a couple of lounges available to use as well as a kitchen area to prepare hot drinks. Breakfast had to be ordered in advance but this meant it was served quickly and hot. Room prices were good value.

We could only have breakfast on the first morning of our stay but it was excellent for two vegetarians. Room very quiet. Excellent location for town and beach/harbour. Our host Berkeley was very helpful with local information.
All good

Had an excellent 3 night stay here, Berkeley the host does a great job, helpful, informative and thanks for the use of your map 👍. Very good breakfast also, try and get across to Northern Ireland once a year and when there next would have no hesitation about going here again.
Nothing, all fine.
