stunning views, friendly and helpful staff, fabulous food, gorgeous spa. the private hot tub in the lodge was really lovely.
3pm check in was very late and 10am check out time far too early to fully enjoy the hotel and lodge.
The lodge was well equipped but for the price we would expect better tea and coffee facilities ( cheap sachets) or a coffee machine. There was no milk or bottled water provided. A welcome pack with orange juice, water, milk and snacks would have made the experience much better.

Lovely accommodation, lodges were clean, roomy, clean, comfortable enough.
All beds were two singles put together, no doubles.
Customer service appalling…
Staff refused to give us a second key so we had to leave door unlocked while half of our party were at a wedding. Leaving small children in the lodge with front door unlocked until early hours.
Despite there being menus and room service information in the rooms, there’s no room service to the lodges. Reception very unhelpful when I was trying to get my very hungry toddler dinner after a delayed flight meant we arrived late. Was told only option was to go to the restaurant which we did at 9pm. Toddlers food came very quickly but the rest of us waited 45 minutes for our meals - we were forgotten about.
Reception never answered the phone. Called one evening to request a late check out, told by the guy it was fine, just to be called the next morning with 15 minutes notice to say they’d charge us £30 per every hour we were late.
Asked multiple times with help calling taxis to be told repeatedly ‘we don’t do that.’ Receptionist in check out incredibly rude and defensive when we tried to explain our disappointment.
Extortionate amount of money to pay for this property, our expectations of the place were high, with customer service to match. Sadly the staff really let it down.

Superb location with breath-taking views of Rathlin Island, Scotland and the Atlantic ocean. The hotel facilities are first-class. The staff were very friendly, polite and unfailingly helpful. First rate experience.

Breakfast was good. Location was excellent.
Few issues in property. Not enough plates or cutlery. Trip for heating kept going off. Outside light didn’t work & could have resulted in an accident going in & out to hot tub.

We stayed in a self catering lodge - view, cleanliness, accommodation were first class.
We ate dinner in the restaurant & it was all delicious.
Early check out - have to check out at 10, which is too early

The lodge was extremely comfortable but is up a quite long winding gravel road. Walking to and from the hotel would be very difficult for some elderly or disabled guests.
The lodge needs to have a better range of cooking utensils for those who are self catering. A frying pan and a range of saucepans would have been useful.

did not have breakfast, location was super and lovely accommodation
I booked during the lockdown in October and I had to keep sending a email about if it was actually open or booked and then waited till around 2 hours before to confirm how to get the keys. Had to take a chance that morning and drive there which is around 1 and hour drive away, without actually knowing how I get the keys, what the process was or even if anyone was going to meet us. It was very stressful as had 2 elderly people and a young child with me. It requires more communication the day before on the actually process of how to get into the property.
