Foi maravilhoso, todo o ambiente da quinta é fantástico e fomos tratados 5 estrelas.

Da localização, do sossego e do ambiente familiar que se vive no espaço e principalmente da simpatia e disponibilidade dos funcionarios. A D. Ludumila sempre disponivel e com uma simpatia extrema. É um local maravilhoso. Recomendo vivamente.

Do espaço da natureza, da calma

Terem indicado que estavamos à vontade com horarios deixando ficar fora de horas quando questionamos, e depois queriam nos cobrar o valor extra sem nos ter dado esses valores quando conversamos no proprio dia.

Espaço ideal para passar uns dias em família

De tudo! Simpatia e disponibilidade do Staff. Quarto espaçoso, tranquilo e com muita luz. Comida óptima. Espaços exteriores e piscina interior muito agradáveis. O Monte tem diversos animais que os miúdos adoram!

Great place to disconnect from the world

Lovely place to stay as a family (toddler and dog). The view of this farm it very pretty, the vineyards, the animals and the outside pool make everything very special. The staff was very kind and the breakfast with eggs from the farm were delicious! A great place to disconnect from the world (specially because wifi wasn’t great). We will definitely come back!

A wonderful discovery!

The entire property is awesome! The concrete swimming pool is raw and beautiful. The heated inside pool is a great plus for not so good weather outside. The food is delicious. But nothing would taste the same without Nancy ☺️ one of the nicest hosts we’ve met. She alone is a great reason for us to come back ☺️ Ludmilla (hope I got it right) is a fantastic cook!!! 🥘🍜

Perfect location: how to go off-grid without travelling to the end of the world

Perfect location very close to major cities but remote enough to feel one is away from society. Nancy is the perfect host who welcomes you on arrival and explains how we can make use of the 75ha of farmland with plenty animals, lakeside beach and vineyards. Nancy's extensive farmhouse has everything a couple or a family needs to spend a few days of quality time together. The abundance of space and activities both indoors and outdoors invites us to spend a few days in the property. Nancy's attention to detail makes everyone feel special and since evening meals (multiple courses) can be provided one does not want to leave the farm at all!

we felt unwelcome. overpriced for the low conditions received.

there’s a pool with salt water - bit plus for water lovers. we loved the animals in the land. and the endless space for the children to run free

this is a family-run business. this place is very old , it smells like it from the beds. and isn’t maintained so well. water did not drain, toilet wasn’t working properly. it was so expansive and not at all leveling up to the price. breakfast is very minimal. it honestly felt like we are not welcome. the host constantly stressed about our children making noise or leaving toys around. I felt like I wasn’t hosted with respect and ease. the anxiousness of her was felt strongly. also the family’s boy wasn’t happy about our children playing in the main space with all the little balls and cars accessible. we thought we will receive a room with 2 bedroom and kitchen - because we are a big family. we ended up shortening our stay and got another room because the rooms were not big enough for all of us and cancelling wasn’t an option. so I basically paid 750euro for 3 nights for our room and 2 night in another smaller room. I don’t think I ever got such low conditions for such a high price - basically 250 euro a night. where you can get a very decent 3 bedroom flat with kitchen and pool for much less.

Great family retreat

A great relaxing retreat for our family! Friendly staff. Our room was huge. There were great outdoor spaces to just hangout and enjoy the surroundings. I loved just watching the animals.

Our kitchen was lacking a few essentials that made using it difficult. Napkins, dishcloths, ect.

Nice farm, great apartment, relaxed, nearby Lisbon

Wonderful large family apartment. Nice atmosphere, felt like home for every guest, great dinner and breakfast. Owners organized some tractor rides for our boys and were really nice. Also enjoyed the indoor pool, playing area, and the many animals

Great family hideaway!

The venue is great, with lots animals, a warm-hearted welcoming staff always ready to assist.

Pleasant, could have been better had the facilities been more well maintained.

Good amenities for the kids, including bikes, a pool, a trampoline, scooters, and a variety of animals. All these activities were available and fun for our kids, ages 9 and 10, to use at their leisure.

The rooms and lounges are a bit dated and not as comfortable as we had hoped. For instance, the outdoor lounge furniture lacks cushions, and the sun umbrellas were not opened. Also, the general cleanliness was subpar, everything needed a good cleaning. This may have been due to the fact that they haven't been operating for a while because of the pandemic.

Superb

- Host only speaks portugese but seemed very friendly and charming - Farm is so isolated and thus peaceful. I was the only guest and enjoyed the calm atmosphere - Picturesque rural surrounding for a walk with many different animals and vineyards - Terrific breakfast served on the room - Big, cozy and clean room with rustical decor. - About a 10min drive to the next village - If you are looking for a quiet time out on a traditional farm with comfortable rooms, this is the place to be - Loved the hammock in front of the room to relax

- I was a bit confused about the 5 barking dogs surrounding me when I arrived in the dark. But they turned out to be so cute and friendly - The farm is super isolated and it was a little adventure to reach it by night as you need to take a dark gravel road with loads of potholes. But that was actually exciting :-)
