Bien situé dans quartier populaire

Appartement spacieux, literie confortable,belle décoration avec du charme, terrasse spacieuse, personnel attentionné et gentil, quartier populaire et animé et commerçant pour les courses, bien situé pour les visites par exemple l'île de san Pietro a faire absolument. Ascenseur apprécié même s'il va jusqu'au 1 et étage seulement

Le bruit dans le logement en dessous de celui avec la terrasse,avec la présence d'un chien qui aboie tout le temps alors que l'hébergement est interdit aux animaux . Nous aurions souhaité plus de réponse de notre hébergeur

Piękny apartament w sercu Tarentu

Apartament przerósł nasze oczekiwania. Był duży, urządzony z gustem (a nie najtańszymi meblami z ikei), z dużym i pięknym tarasem. Bardzo miła obsługa pozwoliła nam zostawić bagaże przed godziną zameldowania. Nawet czekające na nas produkty na skromne śniadanie były ponad oczekiwania obfite i codziennie uzupełniane. W zasadzie nie planowaliśmy przyjeżdżać więcej do Tarentu, ale po takim noclegu musimy się zastanowić jeszcze raz.

Zimmer top, Kommunikation flop!

Sehr sauber, neue Eintrchtungen, toll gemacht. Super Bad. Bequem.

Kommunikation mit Gastgeber konnte nicht statt gefunden. Zufällig durch jemanden die dort arbeitet bin ich reingekommen. Später konnte niemand erreicht werden. Wife Passwort nicht bekommen. Über Booking com konnte man auch nicht erreichen. Das war ärgerlich. Ansonsten bietet das Haus tolles Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten. Ohne frühstück buchen wäre vielleicht besser. Als frühstück bekommt man ein paar verpackte Produkte.

Fabulosa terraza en apartamento limpio y cómodo

Lo mejor, sin duda, la fabulosa terrza con vistas al mar. El apartamento era muy cómodo. Y agradecimos mucho el agua y los detalles de bienvenida (delicatessen) y desayuno.

Adentrarse en el barrio no da mucha seguridad. Pero por la zona del paseo todo bien.

Stunning apartments in Taranto

The building has been beautifully restored and the apartments are amazing. The terraces aren’t shared as other reviews say so make sure you book the one you want. I had the suite with the terrace over the old town and it was beautiful and a nice quiet escape. Bed was comfy, apartment big and lots of nice treats like water and snacks every day. Owner really helpful with tips and guides and I was able to check in early

It’s true the area is a mix of buildings from amazing restaurants and apartments to less loved buildings. But it’s safe and never a problem. More tourists will bring more money and more regeneration

Cosy, well kept place. Host was fantastic.

Lovely apartment. Was a great size for a single, through to 4 people. Was very clean and tidy. Stocked kitchen and little complementary grazing boxes supplied. Water bottles were replenished each day too.

Didn’t have an oven and the mattress sunk in the middle of the bed.

Room was described as having a ‘landmark view ‘ but windows looked onto wall 2 feet away, no view. Basically an internal room, should be listed as such - I would have booked a front facing room

Disgusting

Nothing. We arrived, saw the room and decided not to stay. A case of false and dishonest advertising, with no recourse for customers who fall for it. €180 for nothing.

Dark dingy room, utterly different to the pictures on Don Alfredo's website showing it as bright, light and airy. Windows give onto a wall within touching distance. It was like a dungeon, and we decided not to stay. We booked elsewhere at the last minute and sought a refund for the 2 unused nights, but got nothing. Not even 50%. Utterly disgusted. Avoid like the plague -- Don Alfredo does not deserve your custom.

Premium Taranto

This place is so good, that I wanted to stay longer in Taranto just so that I could spend more time cozy at home. Everything about it exceeded my expectations. The bed and linens are a soft cloud. The location--8 min walk from train station, and it is in the old city! Trust me, you want to stay on the island. The size, cleanliness, and finishings are all well above what is necessary. Even a little box with a snack of some local things. The Bathroom is amazing, the shower is aquatherapeutic. I was in need of shampoo, conditioner, etc, after travelling for a few days, and this place had them, just like a hotel. Most guest homes do not include these little bottles, so it was greatly appreciated. And the staff communicated everything perfectly, which made checking in and out simple and efficient

Nothing to report. Perhaps I could only complain that they are charging too low for this place!

The approach and surrounding properties make the quality of the rooms a big surprise

Huge spacious room overlooking the bay and the fishing boats. Some nice touches, great bathroom.

The stairs would be tough if you struggle with mobility but I guess that can’t be changed.

Good value if Taranto is where you want to visit.

sea view, close to our wedding event, clean, had everything we needed ready inside

The road that leads to it was very dark at 2 am, I did not feel safe walking from our event. The neighborhood does not feel safe but it may just be my ignorance, it is not like I have seen a crime or anything in action while there. Just run down part of the island is all.

Adorable place to stay!

Don Alfredo is an amazing place to stay and I just can highly recommend it!! Apartment was super big, super clean and equipped with lots of love to detail. It‘s totally renovated and you find everything what you need and even more! There was food and drinks in the fridge and also coffee capsules etc in place. Communication with the staff and also check-in was super easy and uncomplicated. Staff was always available via WhatsApp. The appartment is located perfectly in the old city and also the newer part of Taranto can be easily reached by foot. There are also a few good places to find a parking slot. Thumbs up - fantastic place!

Highly recommended, very nice property, especially the top floor apartment!

The room was huge, it was really a one-bedroom apartment. The balcony was absolutely massive with excellent views! Great location, walking distance from some really great seafood places.

It was rather strange never seeing anyone from the property. We got the keys through code and simply left them there. Not a gripe as such, but may be a concern if there is any issue.

AMAZING stay

By far the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in during the 3 months I’ve been in Italy…didn’t even wanna get out to explore! The rest of the room was also huge and the shower was amazing. I would give this place a 100 out of 10 if I could.
