Stylish private, self contained, furnished apartment close to Bathurst CBD. Soak up the rich heritage of this inland city as you stay in the restored original kitchen of one of Bathurst's oldest remaining white settlement buildings. It has been extended sympathetically with the addition of a modern bathroom, laundry and large bedroom with French doors opening onto a private courtyard. Original art works adorn the walls.

Tannin Apartment (circa 1850) is so named as it was once the separate outbuilding of the original Georgian residence of Mr William Page who established one of the first tanneries in Bathurst on this original block. His residence "The Tannery" is one of the oldest existing houses on the western side of the Macquarie River. The restoration of the Tannery and adjoining Tannin Apartment has won several heritage awards.

Tannin Apartment location is perfect for visitors, being only a short walk or drive to the heart of Bathurst CBD. It is also close to the numerous walking and cycle pathways around the Macquarie river and local parks and gardens. The stylish, comfortable and well-appointed apartment had all that we required including a dishwasher, washing machine and effective airconditioner. The king bed made for a great sleep. Covered car parking was conveniently close to the entrance. The delightful courtyard setting with mirrors and a handy washing line increased the property's appeal. Cleanliness was of a high standard and appliances were of good quality. The stovetop coffee maker, fresh fruit and milk in the fridge were truly appreciated.

We booked this gorgeous little apartment at the last minute and we were so glad we found it. Located in a quiet street close to all the town's amenities with an undercover carport and private access. The apartment was spotless and fitted with everything we needed, including a very comfortable king size bed and equipped kitchen. The living/sitting area is small but what is lost in size, is made up for in cleanliness, quality, functionality and character. Check in was contactless and easy and the provision of milk and fresh fruit on arrival. Why stay in a boring soulless hotel when you can experience sleeping under the roof of local history? We frequent Bathurst regularly and highly recommend this apartment and will stay again.

A lovely place to stay. It is clean and bright and perfect for two people. Has a nice outdoor setting. The beds are comfy and it's peaceful at night. No traffic noise at all. It was surprisingly warm as well.

We had a lovely stay in the beautifully renovated Tannin apartment. While small the apartment feels spacious for two people. It is located in a heritage part of Bathurst within reasonable walking distance of the centre. Strongly support the owners recommendation to visit the Hub cafe. We went for coffee - which I suggest is the best in Australia for decaf long black! Also returned for breakfast and then lunch the next day! There were a couple of minor problems, which the owners rectified promptly, and while the apartment is cosy electric blankets for the below zero temperatures would have been welcome!

This property was totally comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Close to town. Quiet. A lovely outdoor courtyard to relax. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer were very handy as my husband was playing hockey. We will stay again if hockey is in Bathurst. Ten out of ten!!

The Tannin apartment is an immaculately kept cottage apartment that is centrally located in Bathurst. The attention to detail sets this accomodation apart from any other I have stayed in. We had everything we needed for our weekend and it was a perfect place to come back to after long days in the sun. Would highly recommend!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Tannin Apartment. It is very comfortable, clean and well appointed; handy to town and to the lovely Bicentennial Park (Park run on Saturday's at 8:00am). There is lots of helpful info in the apartment about local activities etc. Communication was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay.
