I really like that it’s lakefront property and it’s close to the town if you need to get stuff or go out to a restaurant. The cottage had everything on its property that you can enjoy the outdoors with your family.

Wonderful cottage with lots of room, rustic feel with pine interior and surrounded by tall trees and quiet lake.

Nice quiet waterfront cottage. The AC was not working throughout our stay so that made it difficult to sleep mainly for the young children.
Lakefront was nice and clean but there was no “100ft” Sandy beach front as described. It was mainly dirt and mud, but we did made it work.
Very peaceful at night.

My daughter and I had a fantastic time. The cottage was so cozy and had everything you need and more. We enjoyed swimming, canoeing & relaxing on the dock in the sun. Our dog also loved her stay, wading in the lake and running around. We hope to go back again next year.

Enjoyed our stay! Only negative thing was we encountered a bees nest at the edge of the lake. Owner has been alerted and said he will look after this before next guests arrive.

This property was great. It had everything I expected and was exactly as I thought it would be. I would recommend this property to others and I would stay here again.

We had a nice visit. Didn’t spend much time at the cottage so it’s hard to rate the beach/amenities. (We did have a run in with wasps at the beach which made it unusable the day we did try). We found the cottage to be dirty on arrival (like it’s ‘cleaned’ between uses, but has months of dust and cobwebs that need to be cleaned) the stuff inside is older and aging but that’s the nature of cottages.
The owner Chris was great, welcomed us by email, checked in a couple times to see if things were okay, and was very receptive about the wasps promising to take care of it before new renters came. He also returned the deposit quickly once we left keeping in constant communication the entire time.
All in all it was a great week spent with family.

The property was spacious, there was lots of room. It was great to have extra entertainment (fuse ball, game cube etc) for the kids. We didn’t spend much time at the cottage so I can’t speak to the beach amenities, or campfire or other outdoor stuff but it all looked nice. Unfortunately the one time we did go check out the beach we were swarmed by wasps so didn’t stay down and hang out. I let Chris know and he was very receptive and is going to make sure whatever nest we may have upset is removed. Chris was great. He emailed and checked in with us after we arrived, and responded quickly to any emails/issues we had.

This property was incredible! It checked off all of our boxes, and even the boxes we didn't anticipate. I would definitely recommend this property to others, and I would stay there again next time I'm in the area.

We did have a great stay. The place is in a great location and we did enjoy the rustic feel of the place. It was also nice to unwind with family in friends. The lake provided great swimming and catch and release fishing. The main floor of the cottage has a lot of windows which is awesome, however with the hot sun on them all day, the main floor got quite warm. We ate our meals downstairs.
When we arrived, we had to spend a couple of hours cleaning. The floors and counters were dirty from the previous visitors. We swept and vacuumed the floors and used cleaning wipes to clean the counters. We also wiped out the dresser drawers as there was debris left in many of the empty ones. There were several potato chips under the coffee table that we had to clean up. I am also very allergic to pets and started sneezing right away upon arrival. I did see in the description that it's pet friendly and accept that, but there was a lot of pet hair on the sofas upstairs as well as the carpet. We had to vacuum all the sofas and carpets.
The coffee make looked like it was broken and someone glued the pot back together. Concern with that is the adhesive probably contains chemicals that could be absorbed into the body so we didn't want to chance it. If nothing else though, the discoloration makes it look dirty. I went out and bought a coffee maker (that I didn't need) so that we didn't have to drive into town daily to pick up Tim Horton's.
The patio screen door upstairs was broken and was off the track when we got there. We fixed it once and it happened again. We did not use it for the rest of the week.
The water cooler leaked water with jugs we bought in town
There was a delay in communication sometimes but all in all emails were returned. Only concern is that with the late replies, we had to pack more then we had to.
These are minor issues that can be corrected for future guests.
It was a good experience. Good price, good location, and good time had by all.

We had a fantastic time! The cottage itself is a bit older but very homey. We loved fishing and spending time in the shallow water!!
