Location was fantastic. Very spacious and lovely canal view with lots of gondolas floating by.
Has everything you need.
Comfortable bedding.
Great recommendations by host.
It is Cleary stated but it’s necessary to climb a lot of stairs to reach the apartment.
2 of the 3 showers took a while to run hot water.

It was really spacious and close to so many attractions we were able to walk ever where we needed to go.
So many fabulous cafes close by and a beautiful location .
The air conditioning didn’t seem to cool the apartment on the hot days we were there.

Size of the rooms and location
The stairs took some getting used too - 3 steep flights. Definitely not good for young children or elderly. The furniture in the main area is so uncomfortable. One sofa ok, the other a rock hard bench and nowhere else to sit. The bedrooms are large but one I had was like a museum with a sculptured head in a cabinet. It’s pitch black at night with the shutters so had to have lights on all night. The top sheet was some grey weird material thing that was horrible. Needs to be white cotton like the bottom sheet.

The location was perfect! Close enough to walk to everything we wanted to see, or the ACTV stops.
It had a view of the canal outside the window and had queen sized beds. Except one seemed like a full.
Carrying heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs.
Slow Wi-Fi. You have to sit on the couch right next to the router to get things to load.

4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. 2 bedrooms were extra large & so spacious & 2 were normal size. The 3 bathrooms were not big, but not small. Great big kitchen & wonderful dining room. We enjoyed the loungeroom too. We were 2 families of 8 altogether. Perfect size apartment. Loved that there was a canal balcony view from dining room area although the smell meant we didn't want the balcony door open.
We were met by Laura at La Fenice Theater, she was very friendly & welcoming.
Very old building & a little dark which meant we had the lights on during the day.
Aircon worked well & was very welcoming after a very warm day & walking up those flights of stairs!!
So close to St Mark's Sq. Easy walking distance to everywhere.
The 3 large long flights of stairs, especially bringing our 20+ kilo luggage up ourselves and lugging up shopping bags during the day.
The pungent smell throughout the apartment, we feel must have come up through the drains & from the canal, very musty and stank at times.
Having to get rid of our rubbish ourselves at the end of our stay, we were told to take it with us when we left & dispose of it at the small public bins which we had to try & locate..a bit of a hindrance whilst trying to juggle our 20+kilo luggage too, but lucky we didn't have too much.

This apartment is very large, with high ceilings and decor that makes you feel like you are staying in a 17th century palazzo (in a good way). The bathrooms are fairly new, but they are oddly shaped and so not terribly convenient or large--this being a building from 1750 or so. The host who met us was very enthusiastic.
You'll need to go up three flights of stairs to get to the apartment. Drop a pin on your GPS so you can find your place again after dinner.

This is the most perfect apartment. Huge bedrooms, most with air conditioning and really comfortable beds. Plenty of bathrooms, everything was clean and the apartment had everything we needed. It even has lovely canal views and a little balcony to watch from. The location is fabulous too - very close to St Mark's Square, but quiet too.

Very good and large apartment with 4 bed rooms, furniture is antiq, looks perfect and give filling that you.re in real Palazio 😃. Host Matilde is very kind and helpfull. Location is very good, walking dustance from San Marco square and other places. Possible to come to house by taxi. Definatelly recomend for families and big friends groups.
All was good, maybe some smell in bathrooms, but as I feel, this is spirit of Venice 😃. Could be nice to have teapot, and aircondition was quite noisy.

Beautiful, very spacious, well-equipped, Venetian-style apartment with AC in a convenient, although not busy, location. It was blissfully quiet from 21:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. when we began to hear activity on the canal. There was more than enough space for our family of four. We really enjoyed the floor-to-ceiling windows and balcony where we could watch the morning boat traffic and people going about their day, and that we could pop out to the nearby bakery in the morning and bring pastries back to the apartment. It gave us some more time to relax and appreciate the setting. Having a washer & dryer was a nice bonus.
Communication was good with the very nice hosts, but maybe more detail regarding arrival would be helpful. We hadn't been to Venice in 20 years, and were on a road trip, so we drove in and had to figure out where to park on the fly, which was stressful with unforgiving, horn-honking locals in a very congested area. FYI - if you reserve a spot in a garage ahead of time, your car will be parked in the shade. Also, there is a big price difference between garages, so be careful. Anyway, I just would have liked a little more specific guidance on this.
Also, as another reviewer mentioned, I didn't notice that there would be a charge for late arrival, and upon looking over the booking.com page, it still isn't obvious to me. It only states, twice, that one must alert the host to one's arrival time, which we did. Our delay in arrival was perhaps understandable (see above).
