Location and size of room, great shower
Room not cleaned which is explained, but given the price this seems a bit cheap. Coming back to the room after a long day at work to come back to dirty cups and glasses wasn’t very welcoming

Very nice staff. Rita filled my flask for me ahead of my return journey. Lovely breakfast included in price. I slept better than I have in weeks. Pool and gym were popular but I didn't have time to use them myself. Got a very good deal on the price on booking.com

The gym is very good , room nice and comfortable. Great location for where I needed to be. Didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment.

Nothing…
I was put in a room underground, no Wi-Fi or phone signal. I was moved to another where is discovered that the shower did not work after a gym session. The hotel was fully booked & I could not be moved rooms again. Refund offered & accepted. Evening staff who I delt with fine. No refund recovered as of yet & the Park Royal are not responding to emails or answering the phone. Hopefully soon I will be refunded by booking.com. I not a happy customer.

Overall Hotel is good - location, staff upon check-in and bar staff all pleasant.
Location and convenience.
The room I stayed in was not cleaned well, the windows had hand prints and badly smeared.
Bathroom had hairs in and around bath
Used tissue next to the suitcase stand
Mirror in the room smeared
Bits on the floor
Drinking mugs tasted perfurmed as if cleaned with bathroom toiletries
No reaction from the Receptionist when I reported upon check out - simply could not care less about the customer experience or standards in this hotel.

The hotel is pleasant and exceptionally clean. It is situated in a lovely countryside.
The noisy wedding guests on Saturday night shouting at all hours. I suppose that's the risk of a Saturday night in a big hotel.
2.5
the hotel was perfectly situated for a wedding we attended 10 minutes away
We had a dirty towel on arrival, what looked like dry blood on it, reception did sort this but it is something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. The food in the bar is ridiculously over priced for very cheap bought in food and wasn’t served as explained on the menu for either of our meals, we complained and got a drink. We also heard two nearby tables complaining too, one that was waiting for half of their meals, some had come and some hadn’t, and another lady who had waited 90 minutes for a Caesar salad. Also we didn’t book onto the restaurant breakfast because the bar advertised bacon rolls etc until 11.30am but when we went down on Sunday morning the bar seemed closed, we went in the restaurant and they tried to charge us £16 each for breakfast to which we replied we only wanted the £5.50 bacon roll off the board in the bar and they said the bars closed they aren’t doing breakfast. Knowing how badly our and others food had been the night before we were definitely not paying £32 for breakfast so we checked out and went elsewhere.

Dinner was very disappointing for the money and your version of a Creme Brulee was stupid

Room was very good. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner served at the party we attended was excellent too.
Very helpful staff. Nice to have plenty of parking
A number of rooms had room service trays, with food on, outside in the corridor. A number of these were not collected during time we were there.

Ours was an overnight stay, room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Shower was good, and the water was well temperature controlled. All staff were pleasant, front desk was always staffed and friendly. Nice atmosphere and good breakfast. Location for the motorway was good, and perfect for our trip. I would book this hotel again.
