Rustig gelegen, kwaliteitsvol hotel

Rustige ligging. Gratis gebruik van fietsen. Vriendelijk personeel. Enkele gratis drankjes in de Coffee or me, koffiebar. Persoonlijke keuze ontbijt naast het buffetaanbod. Kwaliteitsvol en net.

Wonderful private boutique stay

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Excellent rooms, quiet location (note planes fly above as this is not far from Chiang Mai Airport), boutique setting so there is privacy. Hotel rooms and facilities can cater towards elderly. Merchant Villa also have great staff, always helpful and responsive. Overall, exceeded expectations in all areas. Will definitely stay here in future.

Cannot help the planes flying above since airport is not far away. Light sleepers, take note.

Dejligt hotel, men langt væk fra byen.

Personalet var dårlige til engelsk, næsten ingen kommunikation. Kunne/ville ikke hjælpe med at bestille taxa ind til byen. Ligger langt væk fra byen og det var svært at få taxa/tuktuk til at køre os derud.

Grab app is a must if you aren’t hiring your own transport.

Room was large and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, lots of options and all very tasty.

Very very very disappointing

clean Calm location

The staff. Horrible staff due to: - inexperienced people as they were all surely around 18-20 years old - clueless staff in general. Not even introduce us with everything we needed to know upon arrival. - everytime we asked for something they took years to answer. - having to order the breakfast the day before is crazy. The buffet is very poor. So little things to eat and the food is…. Very bad.

Very good

The accomodation was clean and good. The on-site Italian restaurant was excellent. The wine bar had some of my all time favourite wines from Burgundy - expensive, but worth it.

Great room - limited facilities

Very quiet hotel with little facilities. Pool is currently renovated but we could use the pool of the hotel next door.

We had to order breakfast in advance. Limited choice of food.

Lovely property off the beaten path

Large, comfortable rooms. Huge bathrooms and comfortable beds. Lovely grounds, and being away from the city provides a nice vibe. Good selection of options for breakfast (cold and hot disches)

Staff is very well meaning and helpful, but had difficulty communicating in English on some occasions

Great location, beautiful hotel. Would stay there again.

Great location if you want to be close to Chiang Mai but not in the town. Very nice place to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

Staff could be more helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area.

Delightful. The hotel suited us perfectly: a secluded place with a beautiful park area, with amazing gourmet food in an Italian restaurant for lunch and dinner, a separate cafe, nice smiling staff ready to help at any time. 100-150 baht on Grab taxi, and you are already in the city center. Gorgeous clean well-maintained rooms, snow-white linens. Breakfasts: look at this volume. We were also delighted with another bonus: the new gym. Thank you all!

Why do they mention they have a pool, when the pool was closed !!

Rooms were great.Very luxury . Bathroom was clean and all the amenities one needs in there.

The swimming pool was close. Staff was okay, but not great like how one finds in Thailand. Receptionist need to be more welcoming, that she isn't at all.

- unprofessional staffs that didn't clarify about breakfast surcharge 350THB for children even we booked for 2 adults and 1 child at beginning in booking.com. we understood that what we paid was inclusive all. - water supply is unstable and suddenly stopped for a while (10 mins).

great location if you want to relax and unwind a bit from the busy city. Just 15 minute drive to the center and within 15 minutes driving you are hiking in the jungle. friendly staff and clean rooms. Place has a lot of potential.

rooms could use a little remodeling but as they are upgrading all around it I can imagine this might happen soon.

Great location

The location is great, with a big beautiful garden and a lot of places where you can read or work. The rooms are big and very nice with a lot of extras includee: complimentary water and juice. The breakfast was good and also you have included in the price also two drinks per day at the coffee store near where the coffee is great.

stylishly decorated. squeaky clean. peaceful & quiet yet easily accessible to nimman rd, huay kaew rd, maya mall. love it-definitely wd come back! Nicely maintained lawn and trees. For breakfast, they serve popular dishes from local restaurants, which you can pick from. Plus the Italian restaurant (sipolle) is a must try : crab gratin is d best

It was lovely and peaceful to be out of the city and relax for a few days after such a long flight.

comfortable beds, large room and plenty of living space in the rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful.

No on-site bar for drinks throughout the day or night, no snacks available. Breakfast was preordered the night before and delivered to the property the next day.

Too far to walk into town and at times difficult to get a taxi. I didn’t manage to get a glass of wine the whole week I stayed there. The bar was just for decorational purposes (no staff or drinks) and the wine shop wasn’t open. There was an Italian restaurant on the premises but it was freezing so we didn’t go there. The pool was being refurbished but they let us use another (but not as nice) pool.
