Here on Roatan's west side, in the Bay of Honduras, the Caribbean Sea teems with life below the sea and tranquility and unforgettable sunsets above. Few places in the world are quite like Roatan and at Vivaro Roatan - Beachfront you can experience the best of Roatan while savoring a banana daiquiri made from fruit grown on the property, fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, be picked up at the dock by a local dive shop, have an island chef prepare you a delectable meal, have a make your own pizza party with a local pizza master while you enjoy sunset at the house, have a massage on your private deck, take the short swim to an amazing reef, volunteer at a local community center, and marvel at the daily work of art that the sky becomes at sunset.
***LOCATION: Vivaro - Beachfront is a five-bedroom private, luxurious, and spacious home in the heart of West End Village, Roatan. You are not steps away, you are on a large and private white sand beach. Vivaro - Beachfront is an oasis of panoramic views with incredible snorkeling directly in front of the house, a large relaxing infinity pool, luxurious amenities, and fantastic staff.
Vivaro is in the West End. By car are you less than 5 minutes to the heart of West End Village. There are no comparable private beachfront homes this close to West End. Be careful to understand the location of each property you are considering. Vivaro is a private home - not a hotel. It is privately managed, well maintained, and a purposely designed vacation home.
The house is a 4500 square foot luxury home built directly on your own 115 wide by 78 feet deep white sand beach. In front of you is stunning Mangrove Bight and the Meso-American reef - the largest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere. From your morning coffee on the deck to floating in the creative infinity pool at sunset, you will not want to leave. The house sits on a 3/4-acre lot which offers plenty of space and total privacy.
The central great room is spacious with extremely large accordion doors that open onto a sprawling deck with stunning views.
The 2500 square feet of outdoor deck space surrounds a large infinity pool with a tanning ledge and offers spectacular views of Roatan's fabulous reefs and spectacular sunsets. There is ample furniture, from lounge chairs to sun beds, to a large, shaded table for all your group to relax, sun, dine, play games, or read.
The four spacious and identical master suites each face the ocean, and each has a large deck. Each has a Kind bed. The master bedrooms feature Honduran wood floors, blackout curtains and luxury linens and towels. The large bathrooms with marble counter tops include rejuvenating rainfall shower heads and private toilet rooms.
The fifth bedroom is a great bunk room that has 24-foot-high ceilings and custom-made triple bunk beds that were handmade from local Honduran wood. The bottom bunks are double beds, and the middle and top bunks are twin sized, totaling six beds. Ladders lead up to the second bunk and a platform between the beds, from where the top bunk can be easily accessed. A lofted media area tops this room off with a twin trundle bed, TV, DVD player, and lots of pillows to relax or watch movies. Its bathroom also has a rainfall shower head and separate toilet. Kids and adults alike will love the comfort and space of this room.
Additionally, there is half bath in the great room and a 7th bathroom with separate shower and toilet outside below the pool on the sand.
The chef's kitchen is large with white stone counter tops and dark Honduran wood cabinets. The GE gas cook top is on a substantial island with seating for four. There are two GE convection ovens. The double door LG refrigerator features UV filtered water and ice. The kitchen has been meticulously outfitted with high quality knives, cookware, dishes, silverware, etc.
Our goal is for Vivaro to be as energy efficient as possible. Every option from LCD lights to energy star rated appliances help to conserve daily usage. The power on Roatan is diesel generated and there are frequent, but brief outages. At Vivaro, because of solar panels and battery storage you thankfully will never know when the power goes out. You will have lights, AC (in the main house bedrooms - AC in loft room and 2 master's on left side of the house will not work during power outages), water, and be able to cook.
The solar power you use is included. However, it is not enough to power a full house. You will be charged for the electricity you use. With intelligent and careful use of AC, lights, and fans this charge should be minimal. This means AC only at night or when in the room, AC set at around 22 degrees, lights and fans off when not needed, etc. The battery backup can only support the house at night or during a power outage if it has time to charge. Energy conservation should always be a goal if you want to minimize your charges. The meter will be read upon check in and again at check out. Charges will be deducted from your deposit.
The central AC (the large great room and kitchen) and the two masters and loft room are not connected to solar. If you choose to use the central AC, the charges will be more than average. The split unit ACs in the bedrooms are very economical but you should still turn them off when not in the room.
Charges have ranged from $200 to $500 depending on the renters' personal choices.
There is a $500 cleaning charge for all groups. This includes on average light cleaning 2 times in 7 days and a deep cleaning after your checkout. Sheets and towels will not be changed every day. Water is scarce and conservation required. We expect guests to keep the house and kitchen reasonably clean during their stay. If you desire more frequent cleaning, please let us know so we can book a trusted cleaner.
We also include transportation from the airport to the house for stay of 5 days or more when booked direct. (One car or van per group. We can help arrange additional cars if needed.) There is an additional $10 charge for the driver to wait while you shop at Eldon's. We can help you arrange the return trip and quote you a price.
No guests or parties allowed without prior arrangement. Only those listed in the required signed contract and paid for will be allowed at the property.
We are open to events. There will be additional event fees. Please inquire.

This house was just like the pictures. It was beautiful, serene, and with great snorkeling, just a close swim out in a quiet inlet directly out from the home. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we plan on returning to this property in the future. The owner keeps the house in excellent condition and is very responsive to all inquiries about any topic regarding the home or the local area.

The most perfect house for a relaxing vacation. From the spacious living areas, to the pool, and the private beach, we couldn’t have asked for more. Easy booking and check in process. Staff was incredibly helpful and readily available for all of our needs. Highly recommended!

3 families just enjoyed this beautiful house for our Spring Break week. The house met all our expectations. It is exactly as described. The most amazing thing from this house is the sunsets. The sunsets were breathtaking. Marty, our driver, was a text away and always accommodating. Chef Blackie and her assistant made us some amazing meals and even cooked us local cuisine which we thoroughly enjoyed. Matt answered all our questions and was available when needed. We look forward to returning to this paradise. Thank you to Tanya and Vivaro Roatan.

Our first time visit to Roatan was enhanced by this beautifully maintained property. The open floor plan flows straight from the living room across the deck, pool, and into the ocean. Elegant minimalist design offers room for all. The large bedrooms allowed space for everyone to retreat to privacy when needed with a master bathroom in each one. The common areas were spacious for us to gather. Matt, the Caretaker, was attentive, knowledgeable but not obtrusive. We enjoyed a private dinner prepared by Chef Blackie. It was delicious and comforting. The property is walking distance to West End which allowed us to pop over as we liked. Privacy of property was a huge plus. There is a boat dock off the beach where we were picked up for a snorkel tour with Captain N R Charters. This house was a retreat from all the activities that we packed in during our week stay. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful home and location! Thank you Tanya for making this booking so easy and Matt for the assistance with a reservation and answering our questions. You both were very prompt all along the way, which made the process very smooth. Absolutely loved the privacy and the quietness this beachfront home offers. This was the most well stocked home we have ever stayed in; the kitchen has everything and more. Pool and grounds were always well maintained and very clean. Thanks again and we hope to be back again!

This was one of the most stress free vacations we have experienced. It all starts with Marty picking you up from the airport and then Chef Blackie cooking some of the best meals you will ever have at the house. Reagan is also an excellent fishing boat charter captain that we utilized 2 of the days. The house has plenty of space for large groups. The pool is great and the outdoor space with the sunsets is unbeatable. The inside is high end and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this location to all.

Everything about this house was incredible. From the start Tanya and Matt were super helpful answering all my questions leading up to our stay. Matt helped set up Junior and kayaks to use on property and was very quick to reply. I can't say enough about this house and the amazing views. The reef out back was probably one of the most amazing places I've ever snorkeled. I can't wait to return! We truly had the best time don't hesitate to book this property.

First of let me talk about Tanya and Matt. Both were super quick to respond to messages and cleared all our questions. Matt greeted us at the house. was very respectful and showed us around the amazing property. What a property! the place is perfect for big families and has all the amenities you could ask for. Everything is well taken care of and in great shape. We really have only but good comments and were glad we stayed here. it is a hidden gem!

We had a party of 12 (4 adults and 8 kids ages 10 - 19) and this house was more than spacious enough for us. It was super clean and the cleaning service came 2 days during our stay where they changed sheets, washed towels and thoroughly cleaned the whole house. The views are incredible, especially at sunset where we would go sit in the pool or at the end of the dock and sip on a cocktail. Our driver Marty was incredible, always on time and super professional, I highly recommend him and team for all of your shuttle needs while staying in Roatan. Matt, the property manager, was also super quick to respond with restaurant recommends or any other questions we had about the island or the house. He actually picked up Juniors Pizza for us one night - it was incredible and I highly recommend that as well. Overall, our experience exceeded our expectations and I can't say enough about the whole operation and the Team of incredible people that make it run smoothly. We'll be back!

This house and the property were even more impressive in person than in pictures. Especially the main living room and kitchen with sliding doors that open completely. The house has some minor wear and tear from use. However, overall it looks like it has been well-kept. The property manager, Matt was absolutely fantastic to work with, replied quickly, and genuinely made efforts to help make it a great stay for my group and I. The sandy beach was raked and well-kept. The private dock was fantastic for us as we hired a private scuba charter. We had a boat pick us up from our dock every morning. If you scuba dive, I would recommend going with Roatan Divers. The inside of this house gets extremely hot, but the air conditioning in all parts of the house except for one bedroom worked well. The air conditioning units in Roatan are not made to run 24 hours so we just used it when we needed it however, I would recommend turning on the air conditioning in bedrooms at least an hour before going to bed. One bedroom during our stay had air conditioning that was very slow to work. However, when we talked to Matt he sent somebody out quickly and they repaired it and it work normally after that. Overall, we were extremely pleased with this property.

Vivaro Beachfront is a wonderful house with a fantastic location. The property is well equipped and very clean. Management was professional, responsive and particularly helpful in coordinating logistics and making numerous recommendations for services and activities. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

My partner and I were able to have our small and private wedding in the back yard of this home. It was absolutely phenomenal. With enough rooms to allow all of our guests to get ready, the home is the perfect entertainment spot! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or a venue to host a perfect party!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Vivaro. Matt was awesome and the location great! We were super comfortable and made to feel at home with Chef Blackie's amazing meals.
The beds were SUPER comfy which facilitated rest and relaxation. Everything was high-quality.

We stayed at Vivaro Beachfront in March 2023 and it was amazing! Property owner was very responsive and provided great information in advance of trip. Property manager Matt was outstanding - his recommendations on diving, boat charter and restaurants were tailored based on us our interests and he checked in with us routinely during our stay to make sure all was good. The house was in excellent condition, beds were comfortable, nice linens and plenty of towels, kitchen with all you need, and a fantastic grill. The pool, beach, and grounds were in great condition. If you’re traveling to an island, you have to be prepared that the unexpected may happen. In our case, there was an extended (5 hour) power outage across the entire west end of the island and Matt kept us updated during the outage, had extra candles and flashlights delivered, and ensured the backup power system was functioning properly during the duration of the outage. That level of attention to the guests and their needs is representative of the service you receive at Vivaro and what makes it such a wonderful place to stay. Book it and have a wonderful stay!!

Vivaro is a gem of a house with everything you could ask for in a vacation rental. We are a family of four with 2 young kids and stayed here for a week. The property manager Matt was great and answered all our questions before arrival. The house is very large with plenty of room for two families. The pool and beach were amazing. The reef with incredible marine life is only a short swim from the house (close enough that our 7 year old could reach it). The house was stocked with snorkel gear, pool toys and stand up paddle boards. The staff kept everything clean and well maintained throughout our stay. We loved the fresh coconuts they cut down for us to drink each day. Swimming with the dolphins at Anthony's Key, glass bottom boat tour in West End and the East End boat tour (arranged by Matt) are must do's while in Roatan. The driver Marty was great and always available even on short notice. Chef Blackie cooked dinner for us twice during our stay. Food was delicious and we had leftovers for lunch the next day. The owners truly care about the quality of your stay and checked in with us multiple times. If you are looking for a house to stay while in Roatan look no further!

We stayed with 12 people at the Vivaro house over Christmas. While the house was fabulous - held all of us well, beautifully set, lovely outdoor/indoor living, had all the amazing amenities... it was the people who helped make our stay special.
Matt: manages the house and helped us with everything from WIFI to dinner recos to night snorkeling booking. Always with patience and a smile.
Marty: drove us everywhere we needed to go even at short notice and made logistics so easy. He was happy to share stories about himself, his family, and his country. We loved riding with him. So easy to be with and so genuinely helpful.
Chef Blackie: Marty's wife and also an amazing chef came and cooked up a wonderful Xmas eve meal for all of us. The snapper melted in our mouths.
The women who cleaned the home: So kind and so thorough. They came pretty much every other day and you'll soon find that a "light" cleaning means they've literally done everything. Always willing to work around our selves and our schedules.
I'd say the only con for us was that we couldn't walk anywhere from the house. The road in was not paved and somewhat flooded (could be different in different seasons) so we always had to catch a ride and could never just "meander." BUT I'd do it all over again.
10.0 / 10.0
This is a perfect house for a large group. Everything is modern and clean. The grounds are stunning. Pool and outside areas are great. It's just as good, or maybe better, than the pictures make it seem. The owners and managers are friendly and responsive. We will definitely be back.
Side note: Reef Gliders dive shop will pick you up on the dock and return you at the end of the day for just $5 per diver. This takes much less time, is more beautiful and is much less costly than the bumpy ride into the West End. (I'm sure other dive shops would as well - but we really enjoyed reef gliders)

W had a great 4 night stay at Vivaro Oceanfront. Marty, the driver who works with Vivaro, met us at the airport. He was a great and drove us around all week (comms via WhatsApp). From there, it was a 15 minute drive to the house, where we met Matt the caretaker/concierge who lives next door. The house is beautiful just like the pictures. Check out the 3-level bunk room - I guarantee kids would love it! There is AC everywhere, but we only used it in the bedroom, mostly at night.
The pool was as beautiful as advertised, and looks due west over Mangrove Bight which was great for sunset purposes. There’s a large covered dining table outside, as well as a number of lounge chairs and couches. There are steps from the pool area down to the beach, as well as an outdoor shower and bathroom. The reef in Roatan is very close to the shoreline and much healthier and vibrant than we've seen other places! As the house is on a bit of an inlet, it’s maybe 200 yards from the house beach to the reef, which can be a bit of a swim. However, if you have rent kayaks, there’s a great place to “park” your kayaks if you look out from the house beach to the right where the mangroves meet the “ironshore”. There’s a small inlet/cove in the ironshore that protects your kayaks from moving/drifting away, so you can paddle out there, drop off the kayak(s), then swim maybe 30 yards to the reef at the entrance to Mangrove Bight.
The night we arrived, Marty’s wife Loretta (who goes by Chef Blackie) came over to make us a delicious meal of coconut fish, conch fritters, red beans and rice, veggies and key lime pie - highly recommend! The next day, Matt had arranged for a half-day private snorkeling trip with Marty’s son, Regan ($425 - worth every cent). He has a new boat and picked us up directly on the house’s private dock - awesome coral and marine life. We snorkeled with dolphins at Anthony's Key. Matt was also able to set up a last minute Discover Scuba Dive afternoon with Reef Gliders in West End (training, a demo dive/skills test in Half Moon Bay, then an actual 55 minute private dive for my wife and I down to 40 feet in the reef). The people there were great and it seemed like a very good deal - $110/person and we were the only ones there.
Moral of the story is that I’d highly recommend staying here. The pictures in the postings are completely accurate and everyone involved was very easy to communicate with. Thanks Matt, Marty, Loretta and Regan!

Booked this home for my family of nine, wanting everyone to have their own space as we are all adults, ages18 and up. Three of the bedrooms were identical and the fourth room with the bunks and loft worked perfect for my teenage daughters. Beds and linens were very comfortable. The living room and kitchen were spacious for us to cook together and gatherings during the day. We weren’t able to swim in the beach there as we visited during the rainy season and the water was quite mercky on that side, but the pool was perfect.
Marty had a van large enough to fit us all and accommodated all of our transportation needs. We hired his wife, Blackie, to come into the house two times during our week stay to cook dinner. The food was amazing! It was really nice coming home at the end of a full day to dinner cooked and clean up done.
Communication between the home owners and the manager was fast and responsive. They were a great resource when we had questions about the area and places we should visit. Recommend eating at Gingers and Crisp, massages at Spa Baan Suerte and diving at Reef Gliders.

The property was beautiful and we were well taken care of. The property manager and staff did an amazing job. The island has the best snorkeling and sunsets! We had a perfect view every night. Make sure to stop at the Roatan Brewery (we went twice) for a relaxing afternoon of great beer and food.

Fabulous vacation experience
The house and Roatan Island was a vacation experience you don’t want to miss. Can’t wait to go back! The location of the house is convenient to activities but private while there. The driver Marty is absolutely fabulous. He was available when we needed him and provided local information we needed to enjoy our stay. We enjoyed Chef Blackie for breakfast and dinner several times. Jerome, Greg and Darwin made a day on the water with Ruthless Charters a must.

Great place for a great vacation.
Beautifully maintained home and grounds with view to die for. Private pool and beach with
good reef for snorkeling a short swim out. Also walking distance, like 5 min., to great PADI dive shop, Octopus Dive School. Great people who know their business, thanks Nuria.
Andria and Matt, who manage the property, live next door and are ready to help with answers to all of your questions. Also, great people who know their business.
Thanks for making our stay such a delight.

Our second visit to Vivaro Beachfront just as perfect as the first.
On our first stay at Beachfront with the family a year ago, we all agreed that the house was perfect. This time my wife and I returned with 3 other couples and all agreed again that the house, pool, beach, reef and everything else was again perfect. Having said that I must add that the staff is what makes this place extra special. Matt and Andrea (the managers) keep everything in tiptop shape. They are also almost always available to help with any questions or plans you may want help with. Both are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the Island. Mary did a great job keeping the place very clean and Gerson and his brother had the grounds and pool in perfect condition every day. Marty, our driver for the week, is the man. Always on time, never in a rush, and fun to be with. His wife Chef Blackie cooked delicious food for us on two nights. And last but certainly not least, Tanya the owner spends a lot of time in Roatan is is full of great information. Most of it can be found on the web site. I can't wait to go back, sit on a pool lounger drinking a frozen pina colada and watching the beautiful sunsets.
Side note. Beware of the no see ums. We had none on our first visit but this time 3 of the ladies got bitten up. Apparently they don't like men.

Amazing Villa in Perfect Location
We rented the Vivaro Roatan Beachfront to celebrate my 60th birthday with our 4 children, their partners and 4 grandchildren. Marty picked us up from the airport and said that the villa was even nicer than the photos and he was right on! The layout of the villa was perfect with all the bedrooms away from the main living area so babies going to bed early weren't disturbed by rousing late night card games and early morning risers. A large great room opening out to several covered seating areas provided plenty of space for our large group to spread out. The dining table fit everyone as we were treated to several wonderful dinners prepared by Chef Blackie. Mornings began with a Paddleboard/ group swim out to the reef for some amazing snorkeling. The umbrella covering the shallow end of the pool was great for the babies and sun conscious adults as well. Plentiful beach towels, soft sheets and fluffy white bath towels were appreciated by all. We made many trips into west end - an easy drive and not a bad walk either. Walked some mornings just up the main road to Fresh for coffee and baked goods. The location was great, far enough from the busy West End main drag, but easy drive distance to many attractions. Tanya, Tiffiny, Matt and Gerson responded quickly to any questions and helped us prepare beforehand for all the great adventures. Marty helped us explore the island and knew all the right places to go! A perfect place for large families or four couples since each of the master suites are lovely.

Breathtakingly beautiful
Beautiful home breathtaking view. Gerson was great at taking care of the grounds and pool daily. Marty the driver was always prompt and very patient with us when we did our 1st grocery trip after leaving the airport. Loved the outdoor seating. We spent so much time outside. Kitchen was well equipped. Had everything the chefs needed to take care of us. Would definitely recommend vivaro beachfront!

Amazing beach house with a fantastic snorkeling reef off shore
I was looking for a place large enough for two families (13!people) with kids aged 7 - 18. I also wanted it on the beach with off shore snorkeling. This place was perfect. The pool was fantastic for the smaller kids and the reef was amazing. The house is in a small cove. If you swim across it to the channel you can get past the small barrier reef and see amazing sea life without chartering a boat. I went snorkeling several times a day and saw, lionfish, barracuda, rays, puffers, angelfish, giant crabs, moray eels (green and spotted) to name a few. For me that was the best part. I saw more fish here than at West Bay and without the crowds. Just keep a heads up for passing boats. We towed one of the paddle boards with us to increase visibility to boats.
For those that weren't wanting to snorkel three times a day, the beach and pool were great. The house is spaciousness and well maintained. The grounds and house cleaners are thoughtfull. Matt, the property manager is next door and very kind/helpful.
We reserved a large rental van, but Sixt was closed when our delayed flight arrived (6 pm) but Marty was there to help us. Not having a rental van turned out being a blessing as Marty was amazing. So kind and accommodating. I feel like a better human being having spent the week in the van with him. Ahis wife, Lorettta, has a local restaurant and was he cooks the best coconut shrimp we have ever tasted. We also did Ruthless boat tour. It was fairly priced and a great experience fishing, snorkeling and visiting the Garifuna community. Tanya is also great to work with from the office and very responsive.
A con on Roatan for me is the expectation of tips at every turn. I got the strong impression that workers in Roatan are very reliant on tips and that employers essentially expect you to tip their workers for doing their jobs (pay their workers for them). That got old quick, but I couldn't help tipping as it's their livelihood.
We would go back. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Home
We had 7 wonderful days in this beautiful home. The bay was calm enough for swimming and the kids we even able to get out to the reef. Marty, Matt, and the rest of the crew were great help in navigating the home and the island. Plenty of room and the kids loved the bunk room. Would highly recommend the home to groups of families as there is plenty of room for everyone.

Second Family Group Vacation
This is our second time visiting Roatan and staying at the Vivaro house. We can not say enough amazing things about not only Roatan, but our stay at the Vivaro Home. Tanya was helpful and accommodating from start to finish from booking our trip, to answer questions we had. She responded quickly and efficiently and helped us with everything we needed. Matt the on-site caretaker was always helpful as well. All details were always up to perfection, and they were extremely helpful if there was ever anything that needed to be fixed. Our families not only felt safe, but constantly taken care of by the entire staff at Vivaro. Marty, Chef Blackie and Chef Junior, honestly felt like family. Our kiddos never wanted to leave because of the amazing hospitality we felt while staying. We will definitely be there back for a third, fourth, fifth and many more times. We loved Roatan and Vivaro and can’t wait to return. For sure memories that we will all remember forever. Thank you Tanya and the entire team. It’s a trip we talk about daily to our friends and family who have not been lucky enough to come and visit you!!!

50th Birthday Celebration
Vivaro was everything we hoped it would be! It is just as you see in the pictures. The property is spacious and there was plenty of room to spread out and everyone have their space, yet it was still very easy to enjoy each others company and all be together. The main level indoor/outdoor space blended seamlessly. Sun, shade, sand, pool, ocean, lounging, paddleboarding, eating, napping....whatever you want, Vivaro provided at your fingertips. Tanya's suggestions were top notch! We followed her advice on many activities and restaurants and were never disappointed, in fact we felt everyone went above and beyond to make our experiences 5 star. Matt, the property manager, and Marty, the driver, were outstanding! We had Chef Blackie come to the house and make us dinner and it was quite the treat and we enjoyed leftovers the next day We highly recommend having her cook for you! Everyone in our group loved Roatan and we will definitely stay at Vivaro when we return!

Amazing family trip
We recently stayed at Vivaro beachfront and had our family stay. We eloped right on the beach using Weddings Roatan. The entire experience was great. Vivaro had the place immaculate and answered any questions we had about the island and helped us arrange transport, catered dinners, restaurant recommendations, and testing. I cannot say enough about our family vacation and wedding.

Great house and location
Our group of 4 couples stayed at Viva Roatan Beachfront in Oct 2021 (after rescheduling from Oct 2020 due to COVID). We have been to 10+ Caribbean Islands and the reason we picked this house was because we all 4 had equal bedrooms with kings and en suite bathrooms. It did help that the views were fantastic and all the people we worked with were more than accommodating. We used Marty several times to drive us to different locations, Blackie (his wife) cooked an amazing dinner 1 night and Reagan (his son) took us on his boat to West End. Matt, the house manager, was also very helpful. Several of us love to walk so we walked to West End and West Bay almost every day. You can actually cut over to the beach at the end of West End and walk on the beach/and rocks all the way to West Bay. It is somewhat of an adventure but fun and there is a bridge that crosses the canal at one point. The views are amazing as well. The walk is about 3.5 miles (have a drink at Bananarama), then we were able to get various water taxis back to the dock at the house for $5/person. We tried the local brewery (Matt also works there) and Ginger's for an NFL game and Happy Harry's for drinks (monkey lala) and you can jump off the top into the ocean for some additional excitement. The paddle boards were a bonus and we used them most days to snorkel across the reef. There is a convenient (walking distance) grocery store right at the main road where you turn to get to the house. We went there often to get ice and alcohol, but Eldon's has the best selection and Marty will stop there on the way to the house when you arrive from the airport. All in all it was a fantastic vacation! Thanks to everyone we encountered!

Beautiful Beach front home!`
We had a magical time at Vivaro Beachfront! The pool was sparkling clean and you could walk right out the door and into the ocean! We paddle boarded on the paddle boards that were at the house. You can literally paddle board or swim out to the 2nd largest reef in the world right outside your door! The pool and outside area were cleaned and checked daily. A housekeeper came every other day and washed towels and cleaned. We rented ATVs for most of the week and you could ride the ATV down to the West End and go to restaurants, bars and shops, as well as do water activities such as scuba diving and jet skiing. Most of the people who work with the public in Roatan actually speak very good English, including our driver, Marty. He was a great resource for things to do on the island and was available to drive us where we needed to go! His wife is literally the best chef on the island. We had her come do a dinner for us one night and everyone said it was the best meal we had the whole trip! Our host Matt was very attentive in answering all our questions and checking on us. The power does go out on the island sometimes. It was out when we arrived and went out one other time. Matt kept us posted on the when the line would be up again. It did not end up being too big of an inconvenience but a generator would be a good addition. Other than that, the house has everything you need - towels, nice linens, fully equipped kitchen, some spices, a basket with sunscreen and bug spray that people left behind (in case you forget yours!), high end appliances and AC and ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. It is also in a very safe, quiet residential area. We often did not even remember to lock up. That is how safe it is. Even the West Bay area was very safe. There was not a big party scene, but on the weekends, starting Thursday, you can have a good time dancing or doing karaoke at the bars in the West End. We did not really explore the cruise port neighborhoods on the other side of the island. We did go to Daniel Johnson's Sloth and Monkey Hangout. We held a sloth and had monkeys and birds land on us. It was amazing!!!!! Some of the group went fishing a couple of times and managed to catch quite a bit! They had a great time with that! I went to a spa that was in the same neighborhood, about a mile down the road - Spa Baan Suerte - it was very nice! In closing, this place was great, the hosts were awesome and every activity we did was truly excellent! Highly recommend for your large family or group!

This is a wonderful property with plenty of room and activities for a large family of all ages. We had a group of 12 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their vacation in Roatan. The house is beautiful and the deck/beach/pool area provides plenty of outdoor fun and a great place to watch the sunset. We would highly recommend Vivaro.

Vacation
This has been one of the best vacation I have been on in a long time. This house was amazing. What you see on the pictures is what you will see when you get there. It is very spacious and relaxing. The private beach was quiet and soothing. It was a total of 7 in my group an it was enough space for all of us and we weren’t on top of each other, we all had enough personal space through out the house. The hospitality from The host team, Tiffany, Marty, Matt all were very helpful in anything we needed for our weekend of pure fun. We will definitely come back next year for sure.
