Lovely room in a beautiful old home. Great communal kitchen. Dragging your heavy suitcase up the stairs is a challenge if you have physical limitations which we did.
Would book a ground floor room next time to avoid the stairs
4.3
Great location with lots of eating places within easy striking distance. The communal kitchen area was useful.
We had a bit of difficulty accessing the building but were helped out by a fellow guest. We had received a message but my phone had run out of battery so I didn’t receive it.

Its a beautiful place, right in the middle of Ponsonby Road with lots of cafés, eateries and shops. Very nice atmosphere and nice common areas: living room, kitchen and veranda. Our room pointing towards the garden was quiet and we could sleep with open windows during the night.
We stayed in room nr. 9, first floor, with a wonderful, private veranda and a very beautiful view towards the city centre with the sky tower. The room is rather small, especially the bathroom and it might be a challenge to get organized here. - Beside the size this is a very nice, special place to stay.

Beautiful property, loved the colonial style and original features.
Bed very comfortable, communal kitchen great 😊
Room on the small side but perfect for a short stay

Location A+++
Room up stairs no lift with luggage

Can’t beat this location.
2 minutes walk to little bird. 3 minutes to lululemon.
5 minutes to Tattys and many fabulous food places.
I’ve stayed a few times as it’s hard to beat.
Shower door a bit sticky..

The property is in great central position, lovely cafe opposite. Great looking spotless proPerty. Nice balcony on first floor, access from rooms to garden on first. We loved it.
We had room eight which is touch small for couple but still lovely room and again spotless
4.3
Very comfy bed, love the location
The room was a little small. Would have liked to have seen a "welcome pack" with details about facilities, wifi etc. We had stayed before (and would again) but previously it was only a night so we didn't use the kitchen etc
4.3
close to where I needed to be

Lovely building, rooms are a good size and very clean. Kitchen facilities are very good. Lovely garden space and sitting outside. A very comfortable bed. Great location. Host very accommodating of requests.
It would be nice to have a hook behind the door or on wall near bathroom so can hang shirts or dresses.
4.3
location, very quiet
the rooms were very small. bathroom sink was tiny.
4.3
position and overall feel
ensuite bathroom very small and basin ridiculously small. We kept knocking our knee in the bedside table that jutted out into the bathroom door.
4.3
amazingly beautiful and luxurious
having to leave
4.3
Beautiful old building in a great location.
The main complaint concerned the size of the room. The room barely fitted the bed in it and there was no room for any luggage which we had to leave in our car.
4.3
Comfortable accommodation in heritage building. Some rooms quite small but adequate for short stay.
No parking facilities. Nearby on street parking is limited to 120 minutes and some is chargeable, so need to be able to move car a couple of times a day between 9 and 6.
4.3
Old victorian house well modernised
Fully equipped and very comfortable room.
Very good location on Ponsonby
Friendly staff and good organisation for late check-in.
Lack of usb plugs (but very rare in Nz... i had yo find something to say)

Bed was so comfortable and position is,excellent with lots of restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Good to have shared kitchen facilities making breakfast simple. Quick response to emails before our stay.
Very unfriendly welcome when we got there as young lady was having her lunch and not really wanting to help us. Parking is an issue around the area but is available if you are happy to move your car around every couple of hours 8am till 6pm. Room quite squeezy but suitable.
4.3
great position and it’s immaculate

Location and staff were fantastic
Parking but I guess it’s a central position.
