Always dreamed of living in nature and this Resort let me experience this in a safe luxury environment. The staff were very concerned and helped me with the best ways around the area which made me feel very safe as I knew they were just a call away if I got lost. The chef at this hotel got me hooked onto Sri Lankan food at his cooking class. He explained Sri Lankan food so well I still keep in touch with him sharing pictures of my attempts :P Had the best Sri Lankan massage at the most zen spa. Thank you for making my 2 days feel like a whole chapter of experiences.

Seeing the most relaxing pool and greenery of the hotel gave me a sense of calmness from the time I arrived. The Staff were very helpful in wanted to know our needs and arranged for the Safari jeep to pick us up directly from the hotel. As a wildlife enthusiast I loved how this hotel is built to blend with nature and is felt when in the property. Breakfast was great and I got to try a few Sri Lankan spices with egg hopper. Made sure to use the discount I had on the Spa and was exactly what I needed after a good game drive. Didn't really have time to try their other activities although tempting but hey there's always a next time.
only good things about this place.

You get a real feel of living in the jungle. It has monkeys roaming the premises. The rooms are spacious, and air conditioning is good. Breakfast was nice, you can get an traditional English breakfast or a Sri Lankan experience, along with bread/cake basket. Staff are very nice and are always happy to help. The pool is nice and you can listen to the sounds of the jungle. The weather was amazing when we were there, 34c and bright blue skies. The hotel, has an onsite SPA. Situated about 20mins in a tuk tuk from Sigiriya town, you will find some cafes and restaurants there. Sigiriya town is only a 5 minute tuk tuk from Sigiriya Rock. We got a complementary bag of snacks and water for our onward journey.
It is fairly remote, with no other restaurants/shops around it. So unless you want to spend all your time at the hotel (food is available there) you will need to travel in and out of Sigiriya town for some atmosphere. Be aware you only get 1 free bottle of water per day, ask for water from the jug at breakfast, or you will be charged for bottled water! We did have a couple of very small frogs in our bathroom (life in the jungle I suppose). They are no bother really, they just hide when they see you.

Such a beautiful place and really nice staff. Was wondering about the „low“ rate, as everything was super 🙏🏼

the hotel had a very nice setup, a beautiful garden and the area was organized and clean, the rooms were clean and cozy.
since there were less occupants the pool was not cleaned and the water level was low but was clean and swimmable. rooms were clean and cozy, our room tv was only working B&W and the bathroom has small frogs in the night but i think its the perks of being near a forest

strongly not recommended!! the photos uploaded on booking.com does not match the actual ones. I am so disappointed with the restaurant. especially most of the time they do not serve water unless we request to serve. most of the time we have to fight for the plates because they have not consistently maintained the available plate count with the demand. the glass was disgusting and it smelt fishy. there was a coffee jar but there were no cups when we asked for coffee the restaurant manager advised a little water guy to make a coffee and fill the jar then we realized the coffee jar was only for exhibition. how ever the pool was nice and clean. rooms were not bad . I don't know how they treat foreign guys but locals please avoid this one when selecting a place to spend your leisure time. I am so confused about how they earn 4 stars with that standards. finally, I am so disappointed about my vacation because of this disgusting SIGIRIYA JUNGLE hotel
4.5
That the hotel was pretty much empty so we could have the premises pretty much to ourselves. The hotel is exceptional.
There was a dispute right at the beginning because the spa prices that were published on the English site (meaning the site that is ment for the tourists) were then three- to four times more expensive when arriving at the hotel. The issue couldn't be resolved, but the spa treatments, though more expensive than published, were nonetheless worth every rupee.

Really nice rooms and interesting bathroom… a real ‘jungle’ experience

Friendly staff and very good response when you call the reception.
Morning English breakfast was not to my taste

They were helpful in arranging transportation.
The hotel seems to be old and maybe it was top when it opened 7 years ago, now it just feels like it's forgotten and staff are wearing old clothes, they are extra charges all the time for everything like old bicycle, water, tea etc...and feel not luxurious at all.

it is difficult to me call this place as hotel, I have noticed most of the staffs are not trained for hotel business even they have no idea of basic customer service in hotel. I can consider this place as university camp only not more than this. I do not recommend at all. also food is pure local food only.

The rooms were clean and beautifully laid out. in the morning breakfast buffet was great with a mix of Sri Lankan and continental dishes. But it was the large black-tile swimming pool under the banyan tree that made such a great stay for me - it was absolutely the best To arrive at the hotel after hiking the golden temple rock caves and take a plunge. Did the same the next morning after hiking Sigiryia, which the hotel also arranged for me with their resident tuk-tuk driver. They also have a full bar and room service.
No complaints

Staff was very friendly and helpful, food was good, comfy beds, nice pool
The hotel has a lot of potential but the bathrooms need some improvements. There were some leaks and it was very moisty as well. There were two small frogs, also a mushroom groing from the floor.
The payment terminal was not working so when we needed to check out, we needed to go 5km further to take cash.
The description of the hotel on booking.com said that there were 3 restaurants on site. During our stay was only 1 of them operating due to the post Covid situation. I completely understand that, hotel was not full but may be you need to mention it in the description cause this was an important factor for us to choose that hotel over other hotels.
