Beautiful, peaceful property. Great deck and swimming.

Crystal Palace Cottage is in a beautiful location, with great lake access, and tons of space.
We visited with 10 adults and 10 kids (ranging from 8 months to 7 years) and there was room for everyone.
While the kitchen is a bit small, the BBQ helps with cooking for large group.
Communication was the owner was easy, and overall everyone had a really nice time.

We recently stayed at crystal palace cottage for a family reunion. The cottage is big and fit us all well. However, there is actually 7 bedrooms, not 9. The top floor is open space with 3 beds and one room in the basement has no windows or vents. The living room couch is dated and uncomfortable but the rest of the furniture was mostly good. Bring extra towels as there were limited number of towels provided. There is a nice dock on the lake. The water was warm and nice to swim in. No lifejackets or boats are included. Note you'll also have to bring your own drinking water and firewood. There is a large sauna, no hot tub.
I only received the check-in details an hr before arrival when I msged Davood. Otherwise he is very quick to respond to any msgs.

The cottage was just like the photos. We needed a larger cottage to accommodate the number of attendees. We will definitely book again next year !

We had a lovely stay at this cottage with a large group of friends including 6 kids. There was more than enough room for all of us and we were all comfortable. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities listed. The dock area was great for swimming and lounging and had enough room for all of us. There were a few maintenance hiccups with the house (dishwasher stopped working and the water pressure was very low and one bedframe was broken) but other than a bit of maintenance on the house, the host was very easy to communicate with and it was a great stay overall. We would come here again!

Beautiful cottage with plenty of space. A gorgeous view and access to the lake. Great swimming off the dock and some amazing fishing! The kids loved the playground as well. Absolutely loved our stay!

Crystal Lake Palace was a perfect spot for our family to get together. We really appreciated the 8 bedrooms (the loft bedroom is split into 3 spaces for a total of 10 beds) that all had queen or king-sized beds. There was a high chair for our littlest member and ample tables and chairs for us all to sit down to meals together. The livingroom has lots of space to lounge and we never felt crowded. Our stay was in early December and the view down to the lake was beautiful. But we would love to come back to swim and enjoy the deck in the summer, as well. Davood answered all our questions promptly. Even during the unexpected power outage, our host stayed in good communication with us to provide updates until the power was back on.

Cottage was exactly as advertised. Large space, multiple bedrooms, right on the lake with a beautiful dock. We have been doing a friends cottage weekend for 8 years and this was the best cottage experience that we have had. The property manager was incredibly helpful and even left us a bottle of wine as a housewarming present. 5 stars!

We had a great family vacation here. Tons of room to fit everyone comfortably. There are great spaces for dining rain or shine. The place had a swing set/slide which was a wonderful surprise for my 2 year old. The pics of the dock don’t do it justice, it’s a big space and the water was great. Would definitely rent here again.

Family reunion after wedding .
We are 5 siblings with spouses and children. Cottage was excellent. It is spacious, well equipped, with a great layout. Full kitchen, completly connected entertainment room, large bedrooms, and enclosed screened in porch. Sturdy wide steps, down to the large floating dock, enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset. Final report, 👍👍

Amazing cottage - we went here for a Thursday - Sunday getaway with a bunch of friends. The dock was huge and this has been our favorite cottage so far. 4 bedrooms are in the basement, 3 on the main floor and 3 on the top floor. Bedrooms on the top floor are all open and have limited privacy so probably not ideal for couples.

Had an absolute blast on crystal lake. It was everything we imagined and more. The water front was beautiful and the cottage was very secluded with the trees surrounding. I would recommend staying here and would love to return one day. Thanks for the great memories.

What's there to say? The trip was perfect! clean, tidy, full of stuff to do, the owner was extremely responsive, and an overall amazing time. highly recommended.

we had a great time at this property with our family and friends. The only downside was that the basement bedrooms next to the washroom on the east side had a lingering smell of sewage. If the mattresses were upgraded we would definitely be back.

Very disappointed with this trip. We rented this cottage from Aug 1 -4, 2020. We arrived and checked in at 4 pm on Aug 1. Upon arrival, we noticed some of the bed sheets were covered in black hair and stains. There were also stains on the couches and furniture proving the cottage was not adequately cleaned from the last tenants who stayed here. Less than 24 hours into our stay at approximately 1 pm on Aug 2 the power went out and there was no generator on-site to fix the issue. Once the electricity went out the water and plumbing stopped as well. For the amount of money we paid for 3 days you would expect this building to be equipped with everything or at very least a generator to keep the plumbing and water system working. We were now in a building with no running water or electricity, missing basic amenities and essentials. We couldn’t use toilets, showers, sinks, etc. Our food spoiled and we were left with nothing to eat. We lost over $500 in food. We were forced into a position to leave because the cottage was not suitable to live in and we did not feel safe due to Covid-19 hygiene concerns. We left the morning of Aug 3 the moment we woke up as there was still with no power, water, plumbing, and food. Nothing was done to fix the issue while all the neighbors all had generators. I’m glad we left because we continued to monitor the issue and the cottage was without water, plumbing, and power for 2 days. The majority of our stay would have been without access to dire essentials. The owner called to apologize when I told him about the conditions of our stay and I asked for a fair discount. Once we asked for a partial refund the owner lied to us stating the power was back on as soon as we left, however, this statement was different from Hydro One’s statement when they calling our contact information to inform us on the status of the location outage. They left a message stating the power would not be back for the rest of the day on Aug 3 meaning the property owner lied to us regarding the status of the property. After his lie was brought up, we were offered a credit for a future stay but we do not feel comfortable coming back to this for obvious reasons. He mentioned a partial refund is impossible as he needs to pay for bills. I viewed the booking schedule and they are booked out all summer. I’m sure funds are not an issue and we did catch him in multiple lies during our stay. Not being able to provide a refund is unacceptable. Do not come here.
