La ubicación es espectacular.
Equipamiento completo. No faltaba de nada.
Terrazas espectaculares y la zona tranquila. Descanso absoluto.
Éramos 5 personas y ninguno de los sofás se convertía en cama y no eran tan cómodos como las camas, así que uno de los huéspedes durmió un poco peor.

Location was superb. El Medano is a wonderful family resort and felt very safe. Communication with the property owner was extremely easy and he is a pleasure to deal with.

2 floors, 2 huge terraces with sea view, front row of housing by the beach. Perfect for a family of 4. Nearby all terraces and restaurants.
Black out curtains would be nice so you can still keep the doors/ windows open and hear the sea

Magnificient view and excellent location.
- Washing machine works in a funny way.
- The water in shower on the upper level goes down very slow. It might be bunged up.
- There is a strange smell in both bedrooms.
- Everything is a bit "used". Some renewal (painting, refurbushment, etc.) might be beneficial at the furnitures, bathrooms and kitchen.

perfect location.privacy.everything you need.sea,views,sunrise,sunset,relaxation.straight outside to restaurants and bars, straight in to sanctuary.the two large terraces are the main reason we booked.a piece of the seafront just for us.
parking was a bit awkward but you soon find a spot.the location, facilities, and terraces outweigh any niggles we had.

The location of the apartment is outstanding. Very spacious and airy. The view from both the living area and bedroom is amazing! Perfect view of the sunrise.
The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable, with a large sun terrace. Plenty of storage space. Large ensuite bathroom (huge double bath), and another shower and toilet downstairs.
Plenty of tavernas, coffee bars and restaurants to choose from. There are two - some might say slightly 'tired looking' - restaurants right by the harbour; please don't let the lack of shine and polish put you off. These places are actually nearly 100 years old and by law they are not allowed to be changed. This adds to their charm - and the food is beautiful! If you are lucky enough to get a table on the terrace you are pretty much sitting on top of the sea, with a view of Mount Roja. Bonus if you can time it for dusk.
This is a windy area and due to that it is perfect for windsurfing/ kite surfing. If you are not inclined to have a go, you will still enjoy the sight of the many that do this every day.
If you are looking for clubs, karaoke, sports bars and fishbowl cocktails, then this definitely isn't the place for you! However if you want a more authentic Spanish place, with no grown-up men in football t-shirts trawling for a 'full English' whilst reading The Sun rag, then this is where you want to be.
You can eat as cheap as you want or go for the more expensive restaurants if wanted to.
Restaurants we'd recommend;
La Botavara - about 5 mins walk away from main square. Cafe-like in decor but top restaurant- quality food. Very fresh. Lovely, friendly people.
Restaurante Maracuja - this has a quaint shabby-chic/ African decor! Would highly recommend starter of fillet beef strips with parmesan shavings, and main of salmon steak with passion fruit sauce and black rice! An example of price - 2 small entrees, 2 starters (huge!
The living room sofas are not the most comfortable (as a few have previously said), but to be honest we spent hardly any time in the room so it didn't make much difference! Only mentioning as this may be a deal breaker for you but it really did not matter to us.
