The only true waterfront rental house with water views from almost every room and a private dock, 10 steps from your door! Very relaxing and natural decor-everything blends in with the beautiful water that is just steps from your back door. When you enter the king size master suite, you will be overwhelmed by the view. It has its own bath and a large glass-walled view with access to a private deck. Enjoy watching dolphins, boats, sunrises and sunsets on the calm waters of Taylor Creek. The remodeled second master suite has a queen bed with full bath and water view. The kitchen has an open floor plan with a breakfast bar and a large pine dining table that seats 8 and allows everyone a view of the wild ponies and sailboats. The second story deck with spiral stair affords gorgeous views all the way to the Atlantic ocean and Shackleford Banks-a perfect sunset watching spot for cocktails! This property is beautiful. Very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. This property is very well equipped as well. Beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the upper deck enjoying the views all the way to the ocean. We had daily views of the wild horses. We enjoyed watching them even from the comfort of the couch. The views are truly spectacular. We have vacationed in the Beaufort area for the past few years and my wife proclaimed that this is her favorite property by far.

Great long weekend in November. Beautiful weather until Saturday when rain started. House was great location and very nice. Great sunset views and dolphins on the creek. Great restaurants in town and close to house. Trip to Cape Lookout was a great fun day. Plenty of room in home and very quite. Easy to walk to town on sidewalks. We rented a golf cart to zip around downtown. House is easy to enjoy all one level. Overall a wonderful weekend. Owners were super kind and response quickly. No issues. Easy arrival and departure. Stan was wonderful to work with and made it great!! Would go and enjoy again.

Family trip down to our beloved Beaufort. House was wonderful in layout, location, and amenities. Dock was in great shape and upper house deck views captured us every night. Would definitely go back.

We have stayed here before many times and once again it proved to be one of our favorite places to vacation. The house is situated on Taylor Creek with a boat dock just steps away. This charming house is all on one floor and has amazing views of the water. We always enjoy watching the horses right across the creek on Carrot Island. It's just a few minutes away from shops and amazing restaurants in Beaufort. Communication with the owners is great and they always ask for suggestions to make the experience better (but I never have any). Thanks again for sharing your home. See you next year!

What a great place to stay! The owners are very accommodating and responsive. Close to everything like the historic town to walk to, breaches just right around the conner, and great home atmosphere with everything you need to kick back and enjoy so time away from the day-to-day work life. Highly recommend booking your next holiday here.

Our stay at this vrbo was top notch. Especially because....location, location, location! It just can't be beat. One night we even heard the wild ponies having a ruckus right across "the cut". The house is spacious and equipped with everything you need for a fantastic time. Highly recommend.

Loved the location. The view was amazing and we saw many dolphins as well as horses. Owner checked in with us several time to see if we needed anything. We’ll definitely go back.

Great location for kayaks and boats. Watched the horses on Carrot Island from the rooftop deck. Dolphins entertained daily. Great shelling on nearby Bird Beach. House was clean and perfect for our group. Only glitch was you need to provide your own sheets and towels. I didn't catch that in the listing. Owner was available and helpful. We would go back again and again!

The listing was 100% accurate, but the pics don’t adequately display the charm and beauty of the house and surroundings. We enjoyed horse and dolphin spotting, walks on the water front, bike rides. Cocktails on the deck/dock, working puzzles, checking out the breweries, and the list goes on. Beufort and the surrounding areas are stunningly Beautiful with great restaurants, many within walking distance. Stan, the owner, was communicative and easily accessed if needed. The house is well appointed (bring your linens and towels). We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation.

Comfy and well appointed home with great views of the sunrise and sunsets. Go sightseeing or just watch the boats go by. Bring your binoculars to enjoy the wildlife and horses. A quiet and peaceful location that is still close to everything. Will stay here again. The host made sure that everything was taken care of for us. Bring your linens.

Stan’s home is very well located-close to downtown with beautiful water views. We saw the wild horses, birds, and even dolphins during our stay in addition to amazing sunsets (and even one glorious sunrise)! The home is well equipped and even had great Christmas decorations. Very comfortable rooms. I didn’t realize that we needed to bring sheets and towels when I booked but Iuckily Stan sent an email ahead of time - his communication was great! I highly recommend this home!

We loved our stay at Beaufort. It is a charming maritime town with a great Saturday Farmers’ Market. This home is a mile from town and overlooks the wide creek. We saw dolphins and wild horses from the dock. The home is comfortable and clean and we loved staying here.

Absolutely recommend. The view from the upper deck is truly breathtaking. We’ve visited Beaufort many times over the years, and the view from here was exceptional! The dock was perfect for our 21’ boat and the trailer parking alongside the house was an added bonus. Nothing beats being steps from the water! The house is great - and much larger than pictures do justice. All in all, a great stay! Stan and Lauren are very responsive, and were so helpful when we had questions. We look forward to returning.

We have rented this property before and were so happy to be back. The location is just a few minutes drive from Beaufort shops and restaurants. It’s a charming house (all on one floor) with an amazing view of the water and a dock where we keep our boat during our stay. This trip we were able to see the wild horses from the observation deck and dolphins from our boat. Stan is a wonderful host and I am so thankful to be able to spend time with my family in such a wonderful place.

Our stay was better than we could have ever asked for. The location on Taylor’s Creek was perfect. We drank our coffee on the dock while watching the wild horses and walked to Beaufort waterfront every morning before the heat of the day. The brand new dock was perfect to accommodate our 33ft center console with no trouble maneuvering in and out of Taylor’s creek. The cleanliness and decor was superb. We can’t wait for our vacation back next year. Thank you Stan and Lauren for sharing your beautiful piece of paradise with us.

We had a great experience renting this house. We found things just as written in the listing. We asked where to find a few things, and the owner's were quick to respond. The house is lovely and clean. The ozonator is a great plus! We really enjoyed the dock, taking the big boat to Shackleford, and using a small boat to go over into the reserve shallows for fishing, birding, and beaching! Thank you!

Sitting by Taylor’s Creek and watching wild horses just across the water with dolphins swimming up the stream is special to say the least. The house itself is well appointed and meticulously maintained. The property manager shared all relevant information in advance and was readily available to answer any questions that arose. Downtown Beaufort is a pleasant walk down the waterfront and features land and water based charters and tours and more great restaurants than you can visit in a week. Try it, you’ll like it!

We had the best time at this property, beautiful setting, cozy, comfortable beds, lovely neighbors! When we arrived there was a care package with coffee, creamer and a bottle of wine, what a lovely touch! Our host was so nice and very helpful! We loved our stay and we wish we could have stayed forever!! :)

We stayed for a month with our young sons (4,6) and two pets. We very much enjoyed the home and the beautiful views. We had a beautiful Christmas with all we needed for cooking and entertaining the children. We had a plumbing issue and Stan called in a plumber the next day. Overall it was a nice experience and beautiful place to stay.
