Lovely quiet guesthouse!

Lovely little guesthouse. Good location, not far from the port or airport. Nice simple breakfast for extra. Very clean room and wonderful staff.

The aircon was quite noisy and quite strong, which made sleeping quite cold but no blankets was available to put on the beds. This is personal preference but i dont sleeping with just a sheet. Yes I could have turned the aircon off but the room got warm very quickly due to the window type. No lunch or dinner offered at the property, so a car/ moped is needed to explore the island and eat.

Beautiful stay.

Beautiful peaceful surroundings. The garden leads to a black sand beach where you can watch the sunset. The staff we so kind and friendly. Nana gave us a map of the island and recommended lots of different places to us. They arranged anything we needed and even offered breakfast for 150pesos. The rooms are small but have everything you need and are cleaned each day. It is right next to a resort where you can eat dinner (or breakfast)

There was a power outage that lasted most of the day when we were there. Meant not WiFi or ability to charge phones and no aircon / lights too. This is just the nature of the Philippines and this small island - but good to be aware of.

Budget accommodation ..5 star service

just 4 rooms in 2 cabins so peaceful and set in a lovely garden that gets wilder as you walk through the palm trees to the beach.. perfect for a dip! Our hosts, Nana and her team were great customer service and care personified and made our stay really memorable . Room refreshed daily without having to ask .. such a pleasant change… since when did not doing this become acceptable in the Philippines !! Strongly recommend.

Superb

We really enjoyed our stay at Bahandi. It was so quiet and peaceful, and well-located. It was also very clean and rooms were made up daily. The staff deserve a special mention; everyone was hospitable and Nana was so helpful in suggesting places to eat and arranging transportation for us.

Perfect quiet place!

It was how I imagined a vacation and disconnect from busy Metro life would be. the location was perfect as its a 3-min walk to the main road and easy walk to some restaurants but also a couple of mins walking distance to the beach. the place was quiet, surrounded by nature. staff were really nice! thank you Ms Nana, Ms Cora and Sir Rene for making my stay wonderful!

Could not be better!

First of all, the bungalows are in a lovely garden with a beautiful common space with views of a palm grove, hammocks, room to eat and do yoga… the garden leads right to the beach and there are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The bed was extremely comfortable and the rooms impeccably clean and cleaned every day. but the thing that most impressed us was that Wing is a really remarkable host! He was so attentive and kind and friendly, taking the time to explain things about the island, about the Philippines in general. When we wanted to do laundry a basin appeared, when we wanted to eat or have a coffee Wing or Rene brought us silverware and hot water, when we wanted to have a beer on the beach watching the sunset, Wing had cold beer on hand. He called the ferry company when we left to double check the times of the ferries and arranged transport for us at 1:30 in the morning. If you are more of a shy traveler, don’t worry, he was very careful to leave guests their space, and really is so aware of the needs of different travelers, recommending restaurants within our budget or activities that would interest us. Sitting around speaking with him about the Philippines was one of the highlights of our trip! Thank you so much Wing, Rene and Corazón for the amazing time in Camiguin!

everything was perfect! the property is so nice, you can see the sea during breakfast, we also could see it from our room. the hammocks are perfekt to relax, but the best thing about bahandi beach lodge is the owner wing. he takes one hour for his guests to explain them everything what they can do on the island and recommend you some restaurant or activities! I never experienced a service like that! thanks again!

Best accomodation on Camiguin

Our host, Wing, was awesome. He was attentive and so friendly to us. The room got cleaned every day, so it was very clean here. Quiet area. He also offered good coffee (french press)! Couldn't be better, we really enjoyed our stay here! :)

good for 2-3 nights, very helpful and friendly host

clean room close in decent location. our host was really friendly and helpful, provided us with amazing recommendations formte island. all of which were excellent ! in terms of staff 12/10.

unfortunately the rooms were very small and basic and the air condition extremely loud. moreover we would recommend to install some hooks etc to hang cloths and a shower curtain so that the whole bathroom is not flooded after every shower.

The owner was very generous and extremely helpful, he gave us all the vital info about the island and answered any questions we had proactively. Also helped us with laundry and scooter rental. Really couldn’t ask for anything better. The accomodation is very nice, exactly as the pictures, there’s a nice common area and the beach is about 50m away. so good..

Our favorite place in Philippines <3

The worst part of staying in Bahandi is that you’ll have to checkout eventually. We had 4 wonderful nights there because the place itself is confortable and in the way of most of Camiguin’s attractions. The room is super clean and comfortable and the view of the garden with coconut trees facing the sea is unforgettable. There’s also a delightful space with hammock to spend a few hours reading a book, exercising or working with a beautiful view. But Wing, the owner, is something else: a great and funny guy, always ready for interesting conversations and to help with everything my husband and I needed (even a first aid kit). Make sure you ask him about what to do, see and eat in the island But I’m sure he will tell you :) Thanks again, Wing! We’re really looking forward to spend some more time in your wonderful place! Miss you already!

Very good

This family run Lodge was a real little gem. It is small, quiet, yet not far from the main attractions and best restaurants. The room is of decent size, bed comfortable with nice soft and silky sheets, and bathroom basic, but it covered all the necessities. The bed is made eveyday by the lady who does the rooms, Corazón. The commom area is very welcoming and allows for yoga as there are mats and even props! A special mention goes to Wing, the kind, gentle, attentive and very very helpful host. He made our stay at Bahandi all that more special. We especially aporeciated being able to use cutlery for breakfast. We didn't have takeaway, but some guests do that also for dinner.

We were unlucky with the rain! That's all!

Completely charming!

I planned to stay for a few nights and stayed for a week. By far best value stay in Camiguin with spotless, comfortable rooms, hot water and great aircon. Lots of amazing restaurants within walking distance. The location is a beautiful part of nature, especially the wonderful lounge. The owner Wing is incredibly kind, knowledgable and spends a lot of time making sure your stay is amazing.

We where 1 month in the philippines and that was our favourite place. The owner is really kind and probably the best person we met in our trip so far. The room is very clean, there is hot water, air-condition and a really nice lounge. Over all, it was simply amazing!

The owner, Wing, was exceptionally involved and kind - always being open for a lighthearted chat - and worked hard to make sure all our needs were met. Rooms were tidy and well facilitated. Property was beautiful.

Great host, convenient location

Wing is the best host one can hope for. He’ll give you a fantastic crash course into Camiguin on day 1 and help you along during your stay. Great guy to have an interesting conversation with as well ;) Rooms are super clean and tidy - aircon helps a lot as well.

the only thing that hat comes to mind is lack of storage space within the room. (eg hangers/ drawers) But negligible.

The authentic Camiguin experience

Great place to stay and discover Camiguin with direct access to the beach and large garden & covered common area for chilling and yoga! You can also have your breakfast on site. The resort is ideally located near restaurants and some of Camiguin's main sightseeing sites. The airport is 7 minutes away by motorbike. Wing has made our trip to Camiguin extra special 🌟🌟 he is a passionate host with lots of recommendations and love for the island! If you are looking for an authentic experience in Camiguin book your stay at Bahandi.

It is small paradise. The garden was so beautiful and peaceful with lots of stay for relax. Beach is close. Room was clean and comfortable with nice view to garden. The best was owner of accommodation. He was really kind, helpful and funny. We enjoy our time here so much ❤️ I hope that once day we will come back. Thank you

I had an amazing time at Bahandi! Great location, walking distance to restaurants and beach. Room was super clean, hotel is so nice and relaxing. And above all, the owner is amazing!! So friendly and helpful. He takes time to sit with every new guest to answer questions and give recommendations. He’s the best! If I ever come back to Camiguin, I’d definitely stay here again.

It has all the basic things you'll need. (Of course, hot shower is inorganic in provincial life)

Win, the owner. Room was big and clean, aircon was working well

I'd probably stay in a different location next time, somewhere nearer restaurants. Because during nighttime, public transpo is non-existent. So if you want to have dinner, you'll have to walk. Bahandi is a little far from places to eat. If you'll rent a motorbike, then this will not be an issue for you.
