Our family has been welcoming guests to Redington Shores now for almost 40 years. Locals and some long-time return guests may still remember the charm of the old Sinbad Motel owned by our grandparents from the time when going to the beach meant putting a family in the car, stopping at a place that felt right, and enjoying a care-free week at the water. The property was re-imagined as The Emilia Town-homes in 2008. Guests can now experience the best of Boca Ciega Bay and the Gulf beaches with over 3000 square feet of Mediterranean-themed space to call (vacation) home.

This townhome is right on the bay. We saw dolphins and manatees from our balcony. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach access. Lots of restaurants nearby nad a trolley stop right out front for trips to clearwater beach or Johns Pass.

Good location. Lots of space for 3 couples. Deck over looking the water was nice. Short walk to beach. Had a problem with insects in one of the bedrooms. Had to wash the bedding including the bed skirt to get rid of them. Fortunately this worked as exterminators could not come for a week. Lost a day on the beach cleaning the room. The owners were a little slow responding to communication but they did address the issues. The fish store next door was using a power washer to clean traps all day long so it was noisey sitting on the deck during the day. May have been the time of the year to do so. Owners have no control over this. Dispite these issues I would consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful townhome! The location was great- across the street and one block to beach access. Also close and walkable to some great restaurants and ice cream shops! We loved Seabreeze and of course Wahoos! The view of the bay was amazing/ we saw many different birds and dolphins almost every morning. Plenty of towels for in unit use, as well as kitchen items. Although we knew ahead of time that there were no beach towels and probably no beach items for use, this was still a bummer. Flying in you can’t really bring those things. We did bring a beach blanket and beach towels- needed an extra suitcase. We bought 4 beach chairs, a cooler, and an umbrella at Walmart. The wagon at the house was rusty but usable. Instead of leaving all of the things or throwing them away, we ended up giving the items we purchased to renters staying in the unit next to us to use. They said they would pay it forward as well. Overall we liked the townhome very much, beds were ok, showers all good, and we loved the location! Great week of relaxing and making memories with our family!

Great location. Inlet behind the house had about 5 dolphins every morning. Property is close to a good number of restaurants.
House was very spacious and worked out great for us.
We highly recommend.

Excellent property and location. Clean and pictures on Vrbo accurate. View of the bay off lanai was perfect and full of wild life. Only drawback was the amount of steps every day - about 20 from garage level to living room and another 25 from living room to bedrooms. Elevator in condo but not accessible by renters. Also, condo is dog friendly but city is not.

Enjoyed Thanksgiving week in style. Beach Golf and a wonderful home base. Two of three children now live in Tampa-Bay so spending Thanksgiving in the area was perfect. Perhaps we will return as we really like the property.
All the best! Thanks again.

We enjoyed the house very much. Could use a vacuum on location as we had to clean before leaving and brooming the whole house was a lot. Unsure if cleaning fee inclusion means we have to clean before we left as well. The price seemed decent at first but noticed the neighbours were paying less. All in all though great place, great location.

We are a blended family and this was our first vacation with all our kids and grandkids. The townhome was perfect for as many people as we had staying. Beach access was directly across the street. The beach community at Redington Shores is quiet and the beach wasn’t packed with too many people. We were able to fish from the backyard in the bay and watched a family of dolphins every morning come close to the docks. Only thing I’d really change is have curtains or long blinds for the living room. It could be really bright during the morning. Overall, it was a great place for vacation. We’d stay again.

This was a nice property and had plenty of room for our family of 6. No garage door opener was a bit of an inconvenience as someone had to always get out and go in to open the door. The 74 minimum temp on the air conditioner was not cool enough for upstairs bedrooms.

Super spacious townhome, clean and wonderfully located. Short walk to the beach and multiple restaurants. Gorgeous views of the bay from the balconies. Plenty of seating in the living and dining room for a big group. Only dings....beds are soft, kitchen Teflon pans are pretty worn. On the plus side, lots of beach equipment left by others even though rental agreement does not guarantee this. We'd definitely book again!

Perfect combo of bay and ocean. You do have to cross a busy street… and I would recommend more dishes. Plates and bowls- and even some plastic items would be helpful

Lovely location on the bay plus fresh fish market right next door. $3 margaritas at Seabreeze next door was also great. Many restaurants/bars are walkable. Trolley to John's Pass was an affordable way to get there. Short drive to Clearwater & St. Pete's. Lots of room with 3 bedrooms on the second floor. Saw lots of birds in the backyard & an occasional dolphin! Updating is getting there - the shower grout could use a good scrubbing & balconies need some work but overall clean & spacious.

Although this is a lovely large property in a great location, it is in need of some maintenance inside. Kitchen ware & crockery needs replacing/undating as some of it was cracked & chipped.
Rollers on main French doors need replacing as they are very difficult to open and close and they also don't lock properly.

We loved how roomy this beautiful townhouse is! It was super clean which we really appreciated including the spotless kitchen and floors. There are white tile floors throughout which feel great in the warm weather and are very easy to clean. The large kitchen and bathrooms all have granite counters. The master bath has a large soaking tub and there is so much space. The laundry room, linen closet and master bedroom walk in closet are all large with tons of shelf space. There is a lot of light on this end unit and I never got tired of walking down the stairs to the living room and seeing the water. The townhouse's back yard ends at the bulkhead of the Boca Ciega Bay with open, tranquil water views. It's so relaxing to watch the pelicans resting on the pilings out back and dolphins swimming very close to the house. There were new white towels in the bathroom which was appreciated. The beach is a short walk (just a couple of minutes), and there are beach access paths in between every 2-4 houses it seems. If you walk directly across the street from the townhouse and a block towards the water., you'll find a path straight ahead. We loved being able to travel with our dog who discovered lizards outside in the gardens for the first time. (She wasn't too sure about those.) This is a great location to everything in the area. The Florida Botanical Gardens are 10 minutes away, and Johns Pass is about the same distance. There is a Winn Dixie about 5 min. down the road in Madeira and lots of restaurants with take-out options. I love that this beach was wide, gorgeous and not crowded. This area has more of a relaxed, residential feel rather than a crowded hotel zone. If you cross the street out front, you'll find a quiet neighborhood on the other side to walk the dogs. We would love to stay here again!

Didn’t meet expectations
This is my second time staying in these townhomes the first time was a different unit but this time I was disappointed. This unit has great potential and in a great location, we love being on the intercostal because my husband likes to fish.
I have to say with this townhome it definitely needs some upgrading and better cleaning. To start the mattress in one of the spare bedrooms is on the floor you literally sink into it when you sit on it , the rooms get very hot we had to use a portable fan to help cool it along with the ceiling fan. The hall shower was so clogged I had to find something to pull out a huge glob of hair that I could’ve made a wig with, one set of sheets were stained with blood and another one had a yellow stain that look like pee. The remote in the master bedroom did not work we had to use the one from the TV downstairs
The couches were kind of gross I’m not big on cloth couches especially in a rental and at the beach they are very worn throw pillows was torn , The downstairs outside room whoever stayed there before us left fishing poles so it smelled like dead bait, my husband had to scrub the grill when he went to use it because freeze was caked up on it and on the concrete outside I don’t think it has ever been cleaned . The front porch light was out . This is what I can remember off the top of my head .
In closing this place has great potential but for the money you spend to stay here they do need to make it cleaner and fix the above issues.

Beautiful place by the lake
It was an amazing experience, the town house was so spacious, clean and huge kitchen, well decorated. A walking distance to the beach, we just love our 4 days stay there.

Loved distance to beach and restaurants
A group of 5 of us stayed for a long weekend. The positives were definitely being a short walk to a really nice beach. Also, there were plenty of nice restaurants headlined by Sea Breeze and the Burrito Social.
The area its self seems like it was in a transition state. There were some super nice establishments and then others that were run down including a sketchy looking seven eleven store.
The only flaws in the place itself was that the downstairs bathroom lacked water pressure in the shower and toilet. Additionally the cots were very uncomfortable. The couch was a better option.
Overall, it is a legit 4 star place and would recommend for a time on the beach and a night in Tampa.

Great vacation stay!
My group of friends and family, six in all, really enjoyed this property! The rooms were big, living room space and dining space just right and the grill and patios were where we spent most of our time. The kitchen is well stocked, and there is the right amount of pots, pans and other needed items. We saw dolphins, rays and lots of other wildlife on the bay side and really enjoyed grilling every night, there are tools in the basement which was wonderful. Walking to the beach was super easy and convenient as there are beach toys and tools others have left behind including a wagon, chairs and umbrella. The beach was fantastic, so beautiful and not a lot of people! We ate at The Sea Breeze, Wahoos and Kenny's Korner Cafe. Sea breeze was our favorite. Our few comments about the property would be, offering early check-in if the property is ready, we asked a week in advance for a 2pm check in and were told no and considering a different cooling pattern for the air conditioner. It was a meat locker at night, and a sauna in the morning, so regulating the temperature was hard. Besides that this a great property and we would utilize again!!

Home away from home
Something for everyone. Family loves fishing and going to the beach. Best of both worlds with canal on one side and beach on the other. Beautiful views. House is very nice but needs a few repairs and updates. Balcony doors off the living room are very tough to open. View is worth the struggle though. We saw dolphins daily out our back door.

Incredible View
The views at this house are unmatched - the balconies overlooking the bay are amazing! The beach is so close! Our 5 and 3 year olds walked to the beach with no problem. You need to cross one busy street and are right in the middle of two crosswalks a little ways down on each side, so we just navigated getting across the street in front of the house, and it's a super easy walk besides that. We did rent bikes, but didn't end up using them - it was a little nerve wracking trying to bike with little kids on that busy street, and everything was really walkable anyway. There are a couple of great restaurants right nearby, as well as a 7-11, and playground, all walkable. The house had a wagon, beach toys, and a pack n play. You need to bring your own beach towels. There are a lot of stairs, just something to keep in mind if you have a toddler.
House is spacious, very clean, and kitchen was very well equipped. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent property- great location
We loved this condo! The location was great, tons of space and clean. With two kids (9 & 12) we were spoiled with all the room. My son was able to fish off the dock, and we were able to enjoy the views is the inter coastal.
Check in and out was easy! Only wish we could have stayed longer, we hope to be back!

Redington Shores Townhome
This home was beautiful and well-maintained. Gorgeous sunrises over the intercoastal waterway from several of the balconies. 3 full bathrooms with tubs was very convenient. A quiet community, very nice. Had to cross a 4-lane road for beach access but crosswalks with lights made it easy. Lots of beach toys and chairs (and a wagon) were in the garage. Parking inside the attached garage was really nice. There were a lot of stairs to climb if that would be hard for anyone, and all hard surfaces which was just a little treacherous for our 17-month old grandson. Overall a beautiful, spacious and comfortable property. We would definitely recommend!!!

Place was very spacious. Could’ve been cleaner. No dish towels or rugs. But location with beach just across the street was great !

We were here for our daughter’s beach wedding so the location was perfect. 32 stairs was a killer !
Very easy to rent, pay & communicate with, as we needed maintenance for broken toilet & no TP upon checkin. Super nice maintenance man who came to our aid. Could update furniture & squeaky beds. Appliances were very nice & view out the backside balconies was beautiful!

Weather was beautiful, close to the beach, view of the bay outstanding, saw dolphins, manatees, par
Very nice, clean, comfortable, across the street from the beach, on the bay, provided lots of beach gear. Only drawback was the 2 front bedrooms were very hot, not enough air circulating, no water pressure in the master bathroom. Other than that most enjoyable stay will do it again next year if available, stayed a month and loved it!

Vacation 2021
Loved the condo and the location. Would have liked to have a direct number to a live person in the event of emergency or question about something but we didn't get that. The condo is nice but the sofa's needs to be replaced and updated, ceiling fans needs cleaning and fresh mop ran over floor before each guest.

Only issue was the water pressure in the Master Shower. Other than that, had a great time.

Family vacation great, cleanliness needs improved
Loved the overall build and presentation of the property. Can't beat looking over the bay from the back and seeing the ocean a couple blocks away. Loved how the door automatically locks itself after 30 seconds (great feature especially with "forgetful" teenagers). The newer appliances were a great bonus. Did receive a surprise visit from the maintenance gentleman on Sunday. He was very nice but not communicated to us that he would be arriving. He was nice enough to provide dishwasher tablets that were not supplied previously upon our arrival. Cleaning supply door was locked after his departure making it impossible for us to clean. We ended up a seek and search to find a small broom and dustpan after a few days. I had to use a wash cloth, on my hands and knees, to mop the floors on Tuesday due no mops accessible to us. Found a lot of dirty drawers in kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Floors had a lot of dirt and hair from previous rentals.. Water pressure great in house except for every shower head. Shower water pressure was horrible at best. A big crack in floors due to property settling...should be addressed/fixed. Master bedroom bed should be upgraded to memory foam like alot of the other beds in the property, pretty uncomfortable. The room off of the garage is wasted space as there's nothing in the room and not air conditioned at all. TV remotes were horrible and had to use one of them from living room to operate master bedroom cable box.
Overall nice property but rental price is due to location and overall cost of the land location it sits on (over a million dollar price tag). Definitely felt like overpaid for property.

Location is great
My family and I stayed here two years in a row (2020 & 2021). The townhouse wasn’t cleaned well, the ceiling fans all had dust buildup, and Couch could really use a good vacuuming(underside of cushions really dirty) They did update some of the pictures throughout the house, and they did fixed the dresser knobs that was broken or missing in the master bedroom. However the tv situation in the master is pretty much useless. It’s was stuck on one channel, with no working remote. (I did message management a few times regarding the tv, with no resolution.) My family and I did enjoy the location & space. However I don’t think we will be staying here again. About a week after our check out, I was sent a message stating they are charging me $250 for damages… because I brought a dog and didn’t tell the property. The message stated there was pictures of pet feces and dog food reported by the house keeper. - I did ask to see their pictures because, there’s no way! I didn’t bring a dog! I did sweep about a handful of dog food out of the floor of my van, in which I swept up with the townhouses broom/dust Pan, and forgot to empty the dust Pan. (Maybe they assumed a pet came seeing the dog food) they haven’t yet responded to the pictures of feces etc I requested. I intend on disputing any unauthorized charges. Renters beware, don’t assume your cleaning fee covers emptying the dust Pan…. Or You just might get accused of bringing a pet and leaving dog sh*t! Just nuts! I really can’t believe it, I’ve never experienced anything like this, especially at a Vrbo I’ve stayed at prior.

Spacious townhome but needs a little update
The townhome was very spacious but could use a little care. The tub in the second bathroom upstairs is slowly to drain the water. The water in the toilet keeps running after flushing. This a quick fix that can save the owner some money in water being wasted. The blender glass is broken. My sister cur her hand when washing it before using it. I called the owner and left a message requesting a call back but never got a return call. The toaster does not work. The balconies need to be repaired. There are several cracks on the floor, ceiling and columns, they look unsafe. We did not go on any of the balconies that face the main Street because we felt unsafe. The location is great. A block from the beach, nice quiet area. There are a few restaurants close by and John’s Pass is just a short drive away. Overall we had a good time.

The place was huge and clean (bring your own towels because we had 10 people checking in and only 4 towels provided). Also make sure to bring your own vacuum. Thankfully I read other reviews that said the same or it would have been a sandy nightmare. Some beach toys and chairs were provided in the garage. Definitely not toddler friendly. The stairs are really wide and tall. We brought baby gates but they didn’t fit the stairs. One baby gate was provided (it would be great if 2 more were provided that fit better) and we blocked the other 2 stair areas with a couch and pack n plays that were in the master closet. Beautiful views but master bed is EXTREMELY loud and we even checked it to make sure we wouldn’t fall in the middle of the night because it was so wobbly. The views and location to dock and beach made it worth it but we likely wouldn’t stay there again since we have multiple toddlers.

Family vacation
Overall it was a perfect house for our family. It was very helpful having 3 bathrooms. The balconies were perfect to sit and relax and enjoy the views. The convenience of the beach a block away was so nice. The only complaint I would have would be the rule of the thermostat having to stay at 75 degrees. It is Florida and very hot. It is also a tall house so the heat would rise and the bedrooms would get very warm making it hard to be comfortable when sleeping. Overall I would definetly stay here again.

House is beautiful and close to the beach. My family had a great time!
Renting through Vrbo was easy! Property did not disappoint. Had no hassle checking in or out.
