We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Ossipee Lake. We were there for a family gathering, the age range in our group was 11-89! The house was spacious and comfortable, very well appointed. The views out across the lake are exceptional. Before booking, we recommend checking in about the status of a grill (if you care to grill while you are there). At the time of our rental, the gas grill was falling apart, many pieces rusted so the flame was all over the place, we felt it was unsafe and therefore unusable. My guess is that the owners will soon invest in a new grill!

House and lake is just amazing.

The house was located right on the crystal clear lake. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. Our family enjoyed the lake. The house is large and accommodated our entire family of eight plus our sixteen month old granddaughter. Having five bedrooms and four bathrooms was ideal. However, the house was not clean. It is an animal friendly home and it was clearly visible animals had previously stayed in the home as evidenced by the large amount to if dog hair and pet waste in the yard. I would not recommend until the house is thoroughly cleaned.

Great house, great location, great vacation!
This house had everything that we needed for grandparents and newborns and everyone in between - plus, we were right on Long Sands. The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Bucolic
The house was beautifully done. Clean, spacious with high end appliances. Beds were very comfortable. The lake was perfect for our family with young children. 2’-3’ for 100 yards out. A real kAyala heaven

Great Home, Amazing location, beautiful renovations but....
Great place and great location. We lived on the lake for years and now rent each summer. Recently renovated and great for families. However, the renovations were not complete, we had no AC in a required bedroom (for our older dad) with 95 degree temps outside and no communication about that OR the fact that contractors would be working while we were on property to "install" HVAC almost every day we were there (not the weekend). We were able to solve the AC issue when we found a portable unit in the closet of another bedroom, but we received zero communication about this until after we found it and this was only by the second evening. We received a small credit which was OK but that is not the point. Communication with VACASSA was terrible, delayed and not honest. We received a text at 10PM one evening informing us that workers would be there starting at 8:30 the next morning to "fix" the AC. In fact, they were there to cut holes in the floors for vents and install duct work FOR the AC and they never finished that job after many days of being there all day, everyday starting at 8:30 AM. Zero communication from the manager that this was multi day event and we're paying full price for this was really poor on their part. We made nice with the workers who became part of our morning breakfast on the porch since it wasn't their fault but the fact is we were not told the truth and clearly it was known they would be there each day. There was a note on the website saying that shower construction was not complete. They were all fine and working.
Get it together VACASSA (whoever you are relative to VRBO) and VRBO. Do better. You can and you should.
And please, please do not try and blame this on COVID. Poor customer service seems to come back to that excuse these days and this is not one of them.

A wonderful Bachelorette weekend!
This was the perfect spot for our low key Bachelorette weekend! We had 9 girls and there was plenty of space! Take note this place just got renovated and it is BEAUTIFUL, plus it can definitely hold more than 10 people. Lake Ossipee is a ton of fun for people of all ages and the property was a great place to experience it all!

Fantastic home on the lake
We had a fantastic time, I went up with 6 of my guy friends and there was plenty of room for us. We rented a boat from the nearby marina (you need a boat license) and we were able to dock it at the house (be warned there is very shallow sand in front of house). We enjoyed the fire pit and the grill, we look forward to coming back next year!
The only negatives are that the house is listed as having a dishwasher, which it does not have. It is also listed as having a washer and dryer, but there is a warning on the washer that the water will stain your clothes so you cannot use it. Finally, there are no shades on the skylights in the master, so you end up waking up with the sun!
Even with these issues, I still feel it is 5 stars.
