The four full bathrooms, the kitchen, and the laundry room were completed renovated in 2021. The kitchen has a large island, and the kitchen and the laundry room have brand new appliances (including an induction cooktop, two ovens, a dishwasher, built-in microwave, a garbage disposal, and a 2nd fridge in the laundry room). Further, there is a huge open area with a dining table for 12 and additional seating for 6 with a beautiful large two story fireplace, all with floor to ceiling (2 floors) windows to appreciate the view of the lake and mountains. Best possible location on Ossippee. Faces sunset and mountains, the 'long sands' were a perfect way for the grandkids to enjoy the water. Safe sturdy deck that was easy to navigate the 24' pontoon boat we rented.
Comfy couch and dinner table on the deck.
Inside was well appointed and fully stocked with essentials.
Sara was responsive throughout the booking, check in, stay, and departure process.
Couldn’t have asked for anything else.
Thank you for sharing this special spot with us

Sara's vacation home on Lake Ossipee is wonderful. There is plenty of space, every imaginable supply in the kitchen and outside. The property was clean and Sara was so easy to contact with questions. There were 17 of us on vacation at the property, from 8 months to 84 and everyone had an amazing time. Thank you Sara.

We had an amazing week at this house. Beautiful spot. The sand and the water were also excellent. We had three families staying here which included all different age groups and everyone enjoyed themselves. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Kitchen and living room were perfect for our large group. Great views and sunsets. Thank you to the host and property manager for having us! We hope to do it again next year!!

We loved this property! The sandy lake bottom and clean, clear water made swimming and boating such a treat. The included kayaks were a great bonus, as were the floats for lounging in the lake. When out of the water, we took in views of the mountains from the dock, porch, or large windows from inside. The beautiful, modern kitchen was fun to use and had everything we needed to make all our meals at home. Sleeping was very comfortable on the new beds - terrific breezes with the sliding doors or windows opened, and on the warmest night we appreciated having the AC option.
We found a brand new playground and nice walking trails for the kids a short jog/bike ride away.
Thanks to the Blais family for the great communication and for allowing us to rent their place!

Our family had a great time at the lake house. The house was spacious enough for everyone. The kitchen was vey well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The dock and lake front location were perfect for boating and swimming. We also enjoyed the nearby trails and fishing access. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely return to this location.

This was a perfect rental for our needs. For background, four related families and we each had our own rooms for the adults with the kids sharing rooms and separate bathrooms for each family unit, which was super helpful.
The house - it has modernized amenities which made it feel very much not like a lakehouse but a comfortable home to be relaxing in when not at the lake. The rooms were all well sized and the bathrooms updated with current fixtures. Hot water was never an issue which can sometimes be an issue with a lakehouse. There was quite a bit of any needed equipment for cooking in the kitchen for meals as well as utensils and dishes. Everything was clean and comfortable. The best component was the wall to wall windows so you can watch the lake as the sunrises light up the mountains across the lake and set in the evening over those same mountains without moving from the couch if you are so inclined.
Exterior - there is no specific beach but the water right off the shore is like a foot deep and doesn't get deeper than 3-4 feet for about 100+ yards from the end of the pier. It is a sandy bottom so it is kind of an underwater beach in a way. Barely any rocks or debris in those shallows. The shallowness of the water made sure the water temp was much warmer than most New England lakes, which then if you want the cooler water you just go walking to the drop off where it cools off. The shallowness of the water also helped with younger children as it might be up to their necks when they stood on bottom but could still swim. Any concerns about the shallowness and boats don't worry as the neighbors were able to moor their boat to their dock at the same depth so barring a really deep draft of the boat you should be able to get it in there pretty well. Kayaks and floaties were provided which were well used and enjoyed by the family .
Owner was super responsive. A storm came through and damaged a tree on the property which they had removed the next day without any impact on our vacation.
Only negative that I could really come up with is a lack of an above water beach which if you are a beach person that might be an issue. But we were more water people than beach people so a floating platform to lay on was perfect for us.
We had a blast and was excellent for such a large group as we had. Highly recommend!
