We enjoyed our stay and seeing 2 bears walk right past the dining room window. Very quiet and a beautiful view. Close to Asheville and the Biltmore.
2.0
The property is in need of a good cleaning. Clearly visible dirt/dust on window sills, baseboards, light fixtures, walls, cabinet doors etc. the freezer was gross. we also found several dishes and utensils that were dirty or needed to be replaced.
The location is a bit difficult. I don’t recall the listing articulating 2 switchback turns and the house being on a dirt road.
Additionally the check out requirements are more than I’ve ever been asked.

Great spot to get away from things for a few days. Beautiful view. Still close enough to downtown to do some exploring. Overall great spot. Very spacious and comfortable.

Located just minutes from downtown Asheville, and a beautiful view. The house itself is very nice--clean, roomy, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

The space was perfect for our party of 5. Views were excellent. No problems with the drive up to the house—just follow the directions and you’ll be fine. Saw 2 bears take a dip in the pool-that was fun. Also a wild turkey family. Grill works great. Highly recommended for your quiet family get together.

This property has beautiful views! We enjoyed our stay, however, I feel like we had a laundry list of chores to do before we checked out for the day otherwise we would be charged additional fees. I felt like this made the trip a little more stressful when it should have been relaxing.

We had a great time at this house! Very worthy!

We loved the property. We had a family trip planned as a Christmas gift for our kids and grandkids and the house was perfect. The view was great and the area was very quiet. It was only a short drive to stores and downtown Asheville. We will definitely book this house again if we return to the area.

This was the perfect location for our girls trip to Biltmore and downtown Asheville. Plenty of space and the beds are very comfortable. The view was amazing!

Camille’s place was definitely as advertised. We were in town for an adult soccer tournament and had plenty of space for the group it was relatively close to everything in Asheville. Would definitely recommend

Very nice place, beautiful property, cleaning crew obviously needs more cleaning detail. upstairs floor needs addressing extremely noisy especially if have guests. But must says all issues pointed out were immediately addressed by manager of property (except floors i did not report that as that an owner issue)

Great home for a group
Very clean, straightforward expectation. We all enjoyed our stay very much. All was just as listed on the add. Would highly recommend to to any group!

Great place close to downtown with lots of sleeping quarters.
This was a great place with plenty of amenities and close to downtown! The drive to the house is up a steep grade, partially gravel and partially paved so be sure your vehicle has good tires & brakes. Great place to host a stay with a large group.

Relaxing Weekend in the Mountains
Beautiful view of the mountains from the deck.
Very comfortable beds! Large kitchen.
House just as described and pictures reflect accurately.
Our group of 6 had a great time!
(be aware that the roads to get to the house involve winding, mountain roads.... but that's how you get the views..that's why the 4 for location...15 mins from Asheville downtown)

Beautiful views!
The house accommodated our family quite nicely. We especially enjoyed hanging out by the fire pit, enjoying our family time and watching the stars. The downstairs projection tv was also cool for the couple that snagged that room. Lol

spiders
several thing could have been better. We came in late and it was very dark. The lighting was dim. The front door lock didn't work. We were able to use the basement door. The basement had a musty odor and there were several large jumping spiders when we came in. The first night I was there I was bite by something and had a small blood with two small punctures wounds . There was a large bug in the tub. The gas fire place didn't work. There was a out door fire place but no fire wood available. We were looking forward to a fire. There was no dishwasher detergent. Supplies were lacking. We have stayed at other VBRO's and there was salt and pepper and other condiment's. We bought toilet paper because there was only 5 rolls for 8 ladies for 5 nights. as we were cleaning up before we left we found the toilet paper in a closet . The house was okay but dated. The driveway is very steep, we drove a 4 wheel drive Suburban that handled the steep drive.

Good get away from the city
Large spider webs over all doors and dead moths in the basement, but that’s to be expected in the mountains. Overall inside the main house was very nice and beds were comfortable.

Beautiful view!
The house was very nice, very clean, and the property manager was excellent. However, be aware that it is on a one lane gravel road up a steep grade. The driveway is partially gravel, also, and initially there was difficulty driving it. It got easier with experience, but I always had a knot in my stomach going and coming. There were also a few maintenance issues with the deck, deck chairs, back door, and grounds. But we were close to our son, there was plenty of room for our family, and that million dollar view.

What a nice retreat!
We had a very nice time. And the views were excellent. We've got a new appreciation for Asheville! Would not hesitate to rent again!

We had a great time. House is excellent, theater room is great. we enjoyed watching the super bowl there which was nice. The house is located really close to downtown Asheville and to all the key sites you may want to visit. The only challenge we had was the gravel driveway to the house from the main street. We had 2 days of snow and our florida SUV couldnt handle that drive. So as long as your in an all wheel drive or are there when there is snow you will be fine. We managed and it didnt interfere with our experience. I am sure in the summer it will be a non issue. Also given the size of the property, a few more kitchen utensils will be helpful. But overall super nice, the owners are super nice, the house is super clean, the theater room is an awesome touch and your close to everything!

Quiet property with a fantastic view
We had a lovely stay and enjoyed spending our Christmas holiday at the property even though we had to leave earlier than planned due to inclement weather headed our way. It was very close to town but felt a million miles away. Great place to unwind but with all of the creature comforts including high speed WiFi.

Fall Vacation in Asheville
The location of this home cannot be beat! The views are absolutely breathtaking! The home is a typical rental property so do expect anything fancy especially kitchen items. But, it had all of the essentials!

Location could not be better! You are extremely close to everything and less than 30 minutes from Biltmore but you are still in a totally quiet and private mountain retreat. The driveway is a challenge but totally doable but that’s to be expected if you want a great view like this house has. Something to note and be aware of but I didn’t hold it against the house; the floors are very noisy. They are very creaky but even beyond that you can hear the “thud” of every step even small children. I myself live in a 2 story home so I was shocked how thin the floors were. When one of us woke up we all woke up even though we were all trying to walk as lightly as possible. I had a few questions and the owner was always a quick text away. Very friendly and even checked in with me each day. Everything in working order and clean.

Great family getaway
This was a great stay. The view off of the mountain was breath taking. It was quite a drive up to get to the property. Be sure to use an SUV to travel and drive during daylight hours. The property itself was very clean and had plenty of space. It rained quite a bit, and at that altitude you can expect some clouds to roll through the property. It adds to the great view, but can also provide some moisture on the outside deck. Overall, a wonderful stay. Would absolutely recommend.

Great stay!
My family of 5 had a great stay at Camille's house! Beautiful view. The house is pretty high up in the mountains so recommend a 4WD vehicle. Took us about 15 minutes to get downtown. None of us opted to sleep in the basement because there wasn't great airflow down there, but otherwise we slept great. Lots of space and very comfortable beds! Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Was close to everything. Beautiful views.
House was a little older so had some where and tear but well maintained and close to everything. Would recommend.

Amazing View
The house view is GREAT. We loved it and will recommend it to friends and might go back ourselves. However we did not use the basement room and used only upstairs bedrooms.

Overall a good stay
The property was just as pictured (the view is amazing!) and we appreciated the no shoes rule. We had a couple of issues but the property manager was very responsive. All in all, it was a good place for a short weekend trip.

Mountain vacation
Home was clean and as pictured. It made you feel that you were away from civilization, but it was a short drive to get into downtown Asheville. We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying there again!
