The location was private and great views.
Comfortable bed.
The only small issue was the showers waster pressure was very low and bath water run so slow and not hot.
to run it was cold before you could get enough water in for a bath.

very comfortable, relaxing stay. Good location.Lodge had great facilities
3.5
The location of the lodge was excellent away from other properties and secluded, the plot was large and the lodge was very spacious. The area was very quiet with no noise throughout the stay. The decking on the property was probably the largest I have ever seen.
The overall cleanliness of the property could have been better, generally inside was ok but some areas were very dusty. The outside and decking could do with a good spring clean and jet washing, although with the lodge surrounded by trees this would need doing on a regular basis. The lodge is advertised with a retro games machine in the lounge and I was looking forward to re-living my youth a little and was a little disappointed to find it had been removed so the advert could do with updating. The lodge itself is showing its age a little but overall good

The location was great and the lodge was very clean and comfortable. Very well equipped. Easily accessible by my mother who has limited mobility.
Can't think of anything.

The parking was a little tricky

Contact from owner when dates via booking.com were not correct. Directions and greeting with tour of property by Karen accompanied by her husband, really helpful.
Shame we were no there for longer with better weather to use the extensive terraces!

Location and living area was spacious. Close to main village and quiet.
When we arrived it looked very nice but it soon became clear that it hadn't been cleaned properly for a while. Shower screen in bathroom was missing and was under the bed. Heating didn't work on day one but was repaired. Main bedroom had a very strong urine smell which they tried to sort out but without success. When we raised with owner he did his best to help but he said he was going to replace the carpet but obviously this wouldn't be possible during our short stay.

The manager acting for the owner couldn't have been more helpful. She had cleaned the property thoroughly and showed us round. She also gave us her phone number in case we needed to contact her.
One of the mattresses was rather old an uncomfortable but I am sure the owner will address this now it has been pointed out to him and the manager.

Well-appointed lodge with great views. Larger than the standard lodges on site with everything you needed and probably more. We had a great stay visiting the local attractions and going to the beach with the kids.
The swimming pool on site was a little busy and not as good as it looked in the pictures.

Location great to use as a base, to travel around other areas around the Devon coast.

The host Rob was very quick at responding to any questions or queries we had. The lodge was at a top of a hill overlooking the holiday park so very quiet away from all the other holidaymakers. The lodge was tastefully decorated, kitchen had everything you required to cook a family meal, plus a washing machine and we felt very much at home.
Short 10-15 minute walk to the beach, so a prefect location.
Nothing not to like about the lodge.
Due to covid (nobody's fault) to let other visitors know. You currently have to book an hours swimming slot, which was hard to get on. So definitely arrive early at reception.

Nice and private location. Very comfortable home from. Local to all amenities.

The main bedroom had a very comfy memory foam mattress in main bedroom with en-suite shower room, I slept perfectly and all beds had great duvets and pillows for every persons needs in the cupboards. The only thing I’d ask for to be upgraded is the 2nd bedroom mattresses. The twin beds had pocket sprung mattresses and you could really feel the springs and my late teen children really didn’t get a good night sleep. Adults would find it harder.
