Wenn es warm ist, kann man relative schlecht schlafen, da die Fenster nicht ausreichend eröffnet werden können und das Zimmer nicht klimatisiert ist.

The hotel is easy to get to from the station and has an attractive bar/eating area and a large beer garden. Donna was very welcoming and explained all the hotel policies clearly, giving us a handy print out showing everything we needed. Our room was large and prettily decorated. The bed was very comfortable and lighting can easily be controlled from the bed. Each side of the bed has wall sockets. The bathroom was also large with a roomy walk in shower and rainfall or standard shower options. We had the buffet breakfast on our first morning which is included with the room rate and offered plenty of choice. On ur second morning we opted for a cooked breakfast at a very reasonable cost. My partner throughly enjoyed his full English and Paul kindly prepared me a delicious meat-free breakfast. I asked for an iron as we had a wedding to attend and Donna went above and beyond by going out to buy a new one for us. Absolutely lovely wee hotel. We’d definitely return.
We liked everything

An excellent stay. Very friendly and co operative owners. The stairs were a bit daunting for an old couple but we had our bags carried up and down by the owner for us. Great room and outstanding value for money.
Nothing, great stay.

The staff were super helpful and friendly, we’ve never been to Leeds before and booked the first hotel we could find so was really happy that it was nicer than we expected! the breakfast was just what we needed before we went to the festival and it was really easy to find our way around. The room had recently been renovated and was lovely and clean with great additions inc Sky tv
The only thing was we had to walk up some metal stairs to get to the room which was a bit scary but luckily neither of us drink so we didn’t have to do it drunk!

Upgraded my breakfast to a full english which was good.
From the route I came would have liked an earlier sign as passed the hotel and had to turn around.

The hotel is within walking distance of the town centre. Two RSPB reserves are also nearby. We enjoyed the included buffet breakfast which was lovely. A full English is available at an additional cost. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

room was comfortable and relatively clean although the shower area could do with re grouting and sealing
I booked for B&B as I was working locally and was told there were kitchen/ food available for evening meals. There was no evening food available and then was told breakfast was not available until 8.30 am and when I explained I needed to leave at 07.30 am I was told nothing could be done about it. I would have been better off at the Travelodge which offered me a room at £45.00

Really nice friendly welcome and easy check in process. The room was large and lovely, it even had Sky TV channels which was a great bonus! Great to have Nescafé coffee sticks in room, but would be nice to have a couple more (although they did have Nescafé Decaff ones as well).
Unfortunately I had to leave early on business, so couldn't have the breakfast which was included, I'm sure it would've been lovely though. The only negative was that in the bathroom, there were a couple of soaps bars (great), but no shower gel, only a couple of small bottles of shampoo.

Sally was an amazing host. Very friendly and has a great knowledge of rugby league 😀

Room was small but more than adequate
Breakfast was welcome included in price
All was good for the price was excellent value

Friendly staff, good breakfast, not a buffet as anticipated but served and option of fresh fruit very acceptable. Comfortable lounge bar and breakfast area.
The outside appearance belies a comfortable, pleasant, friendly , value for money overnight accommodation experience.Access to bedrooms is a private entrance behind the pub.
The area is an initial concern, surrounded by abandoned land , empty buildings and fairly isolated. I was concerned whether my car would be safe as the pub is a little way out of Castleford and stands alone. It may be in the throes of being renovated outside with its rendered exterior partially removed and overall sad appearance. The garden is probably lively in "The Tigers" Season with local matches[ grounds are opposite] but otherwise fairly featureless with makeshift plastic orange barricades for fencing . Bedroom was small but had a bed and sink and TV so no more room really needed. Duvet had no cover on and was there incase of cold but not on the bed.

Clean & cheap
Couldn't close window it was high up. Made hard to sleep with too much traffic noise

Friendly, efficient staff. Clean and tidy with generous breakfast.
Fire escape access to the room was a little worrying.

The room was clean and comfortable. Host was friendly and welcoming.
The fire escape leading to the room was a bit precarious for those with mobility issues, fortunately we were ok.
