Welcome to Molokai, the most 'Hawaiian' island in the Hawaii.
Kepuhi Beach Resort is located on the west end of Molokai, next to the longest stretch of sandy beach in Hawaii, Papohaku Beach (three miles of white sandy beach). On any given day, it is not unusual for you to be the only ones on the beach! Please note that Molokai is in Maui county ... but is not on the island of Maui.
This is a smoke-free unit overlooking the former Kaluakoi golf course and white sandy beach. Sun bathing, swimming and surfing is within footsteps of your door. Enjoy the oceanfront pool all day before relaxing at the gas BBQ grill in the evening. Picnic tables are provided for your dining on the great lawns.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was very well supplied with so many extras! The owner was very prompt in replying when we needed anything.

For our first stay on Molokai, we chose this suite. On first approach, without being aware of the history with a development company-it is a little daunting as there are derelict buildings as you enter the property. I suggest you to look up the “Molokai Ranch” for a bit of history on the property.
After getting over this, the property is clean and well kept. The suite is dated, but comfortable never the less. If your going to keep the lanai doors open for air flow at night, get bug spray!!
The lanai did offer a wonderful view of the sunsets on the west side of Molokai and the beach is a short ten minute walk to a spectacular beach.

Lovely peaceful place.
The accommodation was all that I needed. The host was easy to reach and was more than obliging.
For a peaceful place to stay it is one of the best places I have visited so far.
I would hope that in the future I can return here.

Unit is to the far left of the property as you face the ocean. Long walk from car with gear. Kitchen Pans need updating. Couch should be a pull out as even when Im with my partner we will often sleep in a separate bed. The couch is too small to sleep on. No salt and pepper on property which we forgot to bring. Overall great place except for only 1 bed.

A perfect resort, ocean and beach view from the property, quite, ample parking, centralized trash disposal, plenty of towels, wash cloths, beach towels and all you need and want to cook, make coffee and whatever else you do in your kitchen. Nice walkways, beautiful views throughout the property and more than one beach access. The home owner gave plenty of great suggestions and directions right to property.

Here’s the bottom line: I would come back to this place and I would definitely recommend it!
Great location! Residents at the property observe quiet time from 10 PM to 8 AM. Very beautiful sunsets! It was fun watching the big waves. And you will likely see some Hawaiian monk seals sleeping on the beach.
The host is very responsive to any issues that may arise.
Bathroom is a bit dated but for the price I paid, I can’t complain. It works just fine.
Having beach chairs would’ve enhanced our experience watching the sunsets. But we were fine sitting on the sand.
Lastly, maybe replacing some of the pots that are scratched might be a good idea?

The condo is located on the far northwestern coast of Molokai, about 30 minutes from town, where there is a small grocery store. It's a remote location on a remote island that is relatively untouched by tourism. The condos are located on land where there was once a resort and a golf course, which closed many years ago. Some of the old building on the property are still there, but boarded up. We liked that part of it and learning about the history of this place. The coast is rocky, with big beautiful waves and lovely sunsets. If you are looking for a fancy resort, restaurants, or entertainment then go to Maui, but if you are looking for a quaint and remote place to unwind, relax, and appreciate Hawaii in its more traditional form, with little to no tourism, then this is a great place. We had a fantastic time and the pictures posted of the place are bang on and show you exactly what to expect. We can't wait to come back, it was so hard to leave.

The condo had a nice design with a vaulted ceiling and a loft area. It was well equipped, the bed was comfortable, and there was a partial ocean view. The condo "estate" was quiet and people were super friendly. Everything worked, although we couldn't figure out the television. There were no screens onto the lanai, so when we opened the double doors the mosquitoes came in. The combined living/kitchen area was a little dim as the only light was from the double lanai doors. But since we were out and about during the day that was not a problem.

This is a quit island great place to visit if you don't like all the huddle and bussel of all the tourist traps , if you like to explore this is the place to do it but do t expect to look up all the places to go on the internet

Thank Berit for your prompt responses to some minor things we needed help at the VRBO. Check in instructions were straight forward. Amenities were more than enough to make it feel like home. Quiet and sorile.

Directions very poor, words spelled incorrectly.
Condo needs a lot of updating. Many nearby are closed.
Owner needs to check up on the cleaners. Not up to par.
We paid a cleaning fee, for what ??? We left it much cleaner then when we arrived.
We suggest a grab bar in the shower and a plug-in emergency
light.
Screen door not working, magnet broken.
This unit will not be recommend.

Wedding Anniversary Trip
Amazing 1st stay on Molokai for me and my wife 17yr Wedding Anniversary. Berit was personally phenomenal especially taking a late evening call due to our late arrival from our hooper plane from Maui to ensure we arrived at the correct location. Her unit was a very nice studio retreat for myself and my wife with some nice character. The miles of white sandy beaches and the views were icing on the cake. If your looking for a great place to get away and experience the real aloah with just yourself and or spouse and not interested in the big touristy trap, definitely think of traveling to Molokai and stay at Berits property.

Amazing old school Hawaiian style condo right at the beach. In a safe location only a short drive from town. Berit was extremely communicative and gave clear instructions regarding arrival and departure. I plan on staying here the next time I visit Molokai!

Peace and Quiet
The condo is simple but clean. The bed is comfortable. There is hi-speed Wi-Fi and TV and there’s almost no people there. Wonderful! The only thing that would have been better was a 10 cup coffee pot rather than 4 cup. Thank you Berit!!! We would definitely stay here again. Blessings

Clean and Simple
My husband and I needed someplace clean and simple to stay for our Molokai trip. We weren’t looking for anything fancy just a comfortable bed and a kitchen. This condo was perfect. It had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable.

Excellent location and great value
We loved our stay at the Kepuhi Beach Resort. Incredible location with ocean views and steps to the beach. Quiet and serene. The rental was quaint and a perfect size for my wife and I. The unit provided everything we needed to feel at home. With a full size fridge, oven, stove and microwave we made all of our meals here and saved a bunch of money. The outdoor gas grill was a nice option to cook at during sunset! Berit was a pleasure to rent from and he gave us great tips to enjoy our stay to the fullest. We hope to be back soon!

Had a good stay. Just be aware that the bed is up a steep flight of stairs. Good tv and WiFi connection. Could use another beach chair( only 1)

Nice condo for vacation on Molokai, looks exactly as on the photos. The communication with the host is also very good, the check in was without any complications, everything was near to perfect.

The Condo was nicely decorated, had nice (2019) appliances and was comfortable. The Lanai was where we spent a lot of time when in the condo and it had a good view of the ocean. The owner was quick to answer questions and was courteous. All round a very good experience. The stairs were fine for us but I would not recommend for people who have difficulty with stairs.

Loved the beach being right there. They answered every question quicksand helped find things we needed on the island. We had to ask someone where our condo was. With there being no central office makes it a little hard. Over all great stay and will for sure be back.

A Comfortable Stay, great view from the balcony
This property worked nicely for our stay in Molokai. It was the perfect amount of space and arrangement (with the loft bedroom) for my husband and I. The property was comfortable and functional. The small balcony with ocean views is fantastic! This is where we spent the most time while at the condo. The condo is a bit dated and worn, but quite comfortable. Beach at the property and nearby beaches are beautiful and have hardly anyone on them - sublime! Facing west, the sunsets can be amazing.

Beautiful and relaxing
This little spot on the west side of the island was so peaceful and beautiful and only a quick 25 min trip from the main part of town. The people and atmosphere were so welcoming we felt totally at home. Will recommend and come back ourselves!

Wonderful Molokai Retreat
I stayed at this property while working on Molokai for a month. It was the best month! Property was clean, cozy with a beautiful view of the ocean. Enjoyed listening to the waves, whale watching, visits from wild turkey, peacocks and a variety of birds. Gorgeous blue ocean is just a short walk from the unit and there are also many walking trails including some to nearby beaches. Berit the owner was very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely rent this property again!

Relaxing Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was relaxing and quiet. The condo property observes quiet time from 10pm-8am, but we experienced “quiet time” all day. We even found ourselves naturally, unnecessarily whispering to each other during the day. There is no AC, but the lanai (patio) has large open air doors and the queen bed is upstairs in a loft where the open air flows through. We slept very comfortably and loved hearing the ocean waves crashing at night. (We were there during a large winter swell, the waves were ginormous, and beautiful). Molokai is an old, rundown, peaceful island, so as long as you don’t expect a touristy hotel/resort type stay, I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful view and grounds
If you are looking for quiet and beautiful surroundings this is the place. We loved the high ceilings and loft bedroom. Ocean view from the lanai, with sunset views. The grounds well taken care of with an abundance of birds including wild turkeys. A 10 minute walk to a beautiful long sandy beach with hardly a soul in sight. Nice sandy/rocky beach in front of the resort.
